For those of you that don't want to read the entirety of my review, I will summarize my experince:…read more Dr. McClelland was able do for me what 8+ specialists were unable to do over the course of 13 years. Dr. McClelland changed my life for the better. My results were not only beneficial, they exceeded my expectations. In the past, I was an MMA athlete. Through many years of training I acquired scar tissue in my nose as a result of breaks & impacts. 13 years ago I decided to consult with a Dr who could potentially fix the issue so I could breath and perform better. The Dr decided it was best to have Bilateral Turbinate reduction. The Dr. used an older, less popular technique, and it resulted in several problems. long story short -- the surgery had made my problem much worse. I ended up with more scar tissue, in addition to that, I had a new problem, my turbinates were swollen constantly as a result of the surgery. This made it difficult to breath during workouts, I had to wear a nose strip to bed every night if I wanted a decent night's sleep (Which I did for 13 years), and I would often wake up in the morning feeling dehydrated. Over the course of 13 years I visited several Drs. Most of the time I was told "there is nothing wrong", which there clearly was, or "you need to see a plastic surgeon for reconstruction", but I did not want a nose job, or "Wear a nose strip or an insert", but I did not want to have to do that for the rest of my life! 13 years was enough. Fast forward to Dr. McClelland -- I am going to make this quick, because frankly, the whole experince WAS quick. The staff was friendly, Dr. McClelland listened to my story and my concerns and answered every question I had. He recommended a CAT scan to see what was going on, which no other Dr did over the course of 13 years. He discovered that my turbinates were oversized. He scheduled a corrective surgery a couple weeks later. I showed up to his office for a 1 hr outpatient procedure, and my life was changed for the better. Now here I am after 13 years of dealing with this issue, being told nothing could be done or nothing was wrong, after a couple office visits over the course of a few weeks, and a 1 hr procedure -- Dr. McClelland has changed my life for the better. I wish I would have found him sooner. P.S. - I haven't had to wear a nose strip since the procedure and my cardio & endurance during my workouts has tripled! Life is better when you can breath through your nose. Cheers

Stephanie Griffin and Matthew Gillihan were very professional in their testing and diagnosing of my hearing impairment, along with recommendations for assistive devices. The problems began when I met with the audiologist, Chasity Walton. I tested a Bluetooth hearing aid that was a great fit for me and was quoted a price of $500 after my insurance payment of $3000. I agreed to this. Chasity confirmed this again on 3/17 via a voice message verifying my insurance covered the hearing aid and that I just had to pay the $500. I questioned exactly what the $500 was for and was informed it was for the programming of the hearing aids, the fitting of the hearing aids- (which should have been included in the purchase price anyway) and an extended warranty that I was REQUIRED to purchase. I questioned this. I also requested this in writing and was told that it should be in the contract when I pick up the hearing aides. ??? On 3/18 Chasity calls me back and tells me she checked with the billing dept and "oh by the way we need an additional $1400 from you", that the hearing aids were actually that much higher in price. I declined to purchase and said I no longer trust this practice because of the wildly inaccurate and fluctuating pricing. I got my test results and will be getting my hearing aids for much cheaper elsewhere. I also reached out to the billing dept and they denied ever telling Chasity that I needed to provide $1400 more. Requested a call back from the office manager-no response. Billing also told me the actual price of the hearing aids in the worksheet was $2000 plus an additional $1500. For what? Once a practitioner lies to me, all trust is gone. Buyer beware!! PLEASE CHECK GOOGLE REVIEWS! THEY'VE BEEN DOING THIS BAIT AND SWITCH FOR YEARS!!

I got registered…read morequickly and efficiently upon arrival and after I got my co-pay paid, the secretary came and told me he was 'still in surgery' at the hospital across the street (Presby Matthews). I got to choose to wait, reschedule, or see the Nurse Practitoner and I chose to wait to see him as I have a long history and chronic allergy/sinus/teeth problems. In less than 5 mins a 'tech' person, I guess a MOA, came and got me to 'get things started to see the RN NP. I have to admit I was wondering IF I should get up and leave and reschedule, as in the past I find relaying information, via the EMR and now a MOA, PLUS another person, often leaves MUCH to be desired. (my own PCP is at the same hospital and the problems with the EMRs there are never ending). I stayed, reluctantly at first. When the RN NP came in I felt that she actually listened to what I was telling her, and without having to consult the Doctor, she put in my order for a CT scan of my sinuses! My whole trust level changed from here on! I waited maybe 10 minutes for the scan and by the time it was finished, Dr.Sicard was ready to see me and WITH THE CT SCAN on the monitor in the room to go over WITH ME (I am a retired ER RN, so that is something I hoped would be done). All good news from Dr.Sicard! I was out and in my car in less than one hour, total...shock and awe! I chose Dr.Sicard when a MD in the same practice had retired. I looked on YouTube to see IF by any chance, there was anything about him there and sure-as- sunshine there he was! It was a short, to the point, interview with him speaking on WHY he had chosen to do EENT as his specialty and a bit about himself. I was SOLD on using him from there, for my own reasons, mostly medical. He's been a MD for a while and that is important to me. He is personable, VERY important to me, too. I am my own advocate and in Medicine today you MUST be that and more! He had a strong, non-sweaty handshake (as do I) and it may not mean a thing in 2015, but it is a good way for me to get an 'energy feel' for another person ( I do Reiki some now). By the looks of my CT he told me the BEST news that I could hear for his specialty. My main issues now are allergic, so now I will proceed seeking a good Allergist MD. The only slight difficulty I had was locating the office, even using Google Maps. It is 'behind' a main brown brick office AT the address listed....WAAAY at the end of the parking lot in a fairly new, BIG while office building. It only required a call to the office and being redirected by the girl on the phone, and in no way reflects on my visit to see Dr. Sicard. I absolutely would return to see him again and if you, too, need an EENT specialty MD I'd say you would be in great hands using him!

Just had Lasik done yesterday and feeling amazing!…read more From my first call to Providence eye until now, I have felt cared for and well informed every step of the way. Every staff member at Providence eye is genuinely warm and caring but most importantly knowledgeable. The communication between staff members is fantastic-making the patient experience much easier. I felt so comfortable knowing that everyone was on the same page. Despite the fairly simple pre and post op instructions they were repeated to me just the right amount of times, in writing and in person. I was made to feel completely comfortable to ask any questions at all! Dr. Mozayeni was friendly, warm, informative, very detail oriented and thorough. He didn't try to sell me on Lasik, but rather educated me and was informative about my options. During the actual procedure, I thought I would be very nervous, but with Dr. Mozayeni and is fabulous tech Sara by my side, I was surprisingly comfortable and confident. When I left the office, I truly felt that Dr. Mozayeni and his staff were as happy for me and my new vision as I was! Thank you Providence eye for this wonderful experience. You're getting all my Lasik referrals!!

Providence Eye is A Great Practice and Dr. Nunnery and Dr. Chin are good doctors but their empathy towards their employees is a lot to be reckon with when they base there idea that all that work there are like family. My wife worked there for almost 20 years and was let go with no severance pay and insurance stopped right there and then. They told her she was a great technician but had to let her go. They sure pulled the wool over my eyes. I cannot support a practice even them being good doctors but to me they do not care for their employees especially ones that have been dedicated and loyal to that practice. I read other people that they answer their reviews but cannot answer me on my review on letting my wife go on almost 20 years of loyalty to them. There is no way I and I hope the patients that knew my wife could support a practice that has no empathy or loyalty to their employees. As I have said totally shocked by these two doctors and their so called administrator. Again I am so totally shocked what they did to my wife with no severance pay and insurance stopped right there and then and then doctor Nunnery walked her right out to her car and she was not aloud to go get her stuff at her desk. The administrator went and got it. To a practice I will never ever support again Tommy Mercer

I've taken allergy shots here before they are great on training you so you can do them at home if your insurance charges you every visit. The Dr I used to see was DR Miltech he is now with the office in Matthews now when Mr lease couldn't get me better I saw DR Clyne wow he is terrific , he is a surgeon so he knows his stuff. They also do eye exams I've never been for my eyes but I see they have great eye wear . I have found no better ENT in Charlotte , the front desk is great always pleasant an helpful . Update I recently had nasal surgery by Dr Clyne I had starting having such problems constantly being congested an very stuffy. Dr Clyne fixed my septum an made it easy for me to breathe. I didnt have much pain I was surprised. Just some swelling no bruising . Its been about 3 weeks its still healing but I have a nose like a blood hound now lol He also put tubes in my ears I kept having ear infections like when I was little it took less than 5 mins in his office no pain an no more ear infections. Wonderful office staff love them just make you good :)

My prescription (for reading) was only going in the lower portion of the lense. It was explained to me that was called a "progressive" lense...top portion has no prescription. I also needed new lenses in my sunglasses. I assumed the tech understood I wanted them exactly like my regular eyeglasses. Instead of simply saying that, she used other words when discussing the sunglasses. I still assumed they would be exactly the same. After picking up both pairs of glasses, I noticed the sunglasses were "blurry" when looking straight ahead. I knew immediately what happened. My reading prescription had been put in the entire lense. Not just the bottom. When I was finally able to speak to this tech, she told me I had to pay the difference for a "progressive" lense. Not for nothing, but I don't do this for a living. She does. Why on earth wouldn't she explain I needed a progressive lense in my sunglasses?? She didn't. She let me think my sunglasses would be just like my regular glasses! Then had the nerve to insist I was at fault. Sorry, not buying it! SHE is the so called "professional". If I only needed a reading prescription, hence a "progressive" lense on one pair of glasses, why would the second pair be different??? I'm waiting to speak to her manager when she returns from vacation. I do NOT recommend getting your glasses from here!

It's been awhile since I was there (early 2024) and have seen such a plethora of other unsatisfactory physicians in the interim that I cannot recall if he prescribed any of the generally ineffective and commonly prescribed "pain" meds at all such as Lyrica. I wasn't looking for any of the dog and pony circus of treatment with opiates at that time being I was already well aware of the pitfalls of that such as it is impossible to even obtain a sufficiently high enough dosage to be worth my while to try them again. Therefore, instead I just lay down a lot, hire people to do my housework @ 30 bucks per hour, cannot even stand at my sink more than 5 minutes to wash my own dishes, have to pay someone to drive my dogs to the dog groomers being I still cannot even bend over my own laundry sink long enough to bathe my own 5 and 6 lb dogs, plus of course I have major problems simply bending over to pick things up off my floor - pretty pathetic really as I actually know myself how to fix these things. While I have more invisible illnesses than I can count on 2 to 3 hands, there is not one MD I have met anywhere in this metropolis who knows anywhere close to as much as do about them sadly. There is absolutely NO excuse for this happening in AMERIKA so shame on what has been allowed to happen with three downfall of our entire healthcare system here. *** Otoh, Kiran Semmelsberger, PA, formerly of Atrium Primary Care in Mint Hill certainly did. She, however, has moved on being that she was so conscientious about her job that she was majorly overworked. She had been known to call me from the office there at 8:30 PM just to ensure she followed through with some final analysis of some new diagnostic crisis of mine. While these reflections of mine RE: the medical care thus far found in Charlotte, NC, are not at all just directed towards this one practice on Springbank, this practice I went to one time only was in fact a typical example of what is being described. *** End result currently?? What a wasted life due to insuffucient, deficient, or lack of medical care in Charlotte NC - 17th largest metro area in the country I read somewhere ... pretty sad
