Next day home depo sent me a email saying they would be here Saturday to deliver and Install. We got the pedestal so we was figuring they ment they was coming to install it. I got a message they would be here 11 to 3:00 pm. Got a notification saying I'm the next stop. I tracked the truck he made 6 stops. Fours hours later got another email saying need to reschedule. Two hours later got notification saying delivery completed. I called customer service she said install was not included. My receipt say install free. I wanted to return it she said I can't, I have to send back ups. I ordered from home depo not ups. They do not stand behind their word. Says all returns to home depo. Not my problem they had it dropped shipped. We spend sooo much money at there location. Never again. We've been shopping there 26 years. We will never walk back into that place. Lowe's is our go to. Be careful what you order if they drop ship it you can not take it back to the store. So ridiculous!!! If there is a place to include a pic for free install I'll post the pic.. I do not usually shop at this particular Home Depot, but I was in the area, so I stopped in. I felt most interested in seeing the selection of kitchen cabinets, countertops, and tile flooring. I spent many minutes in the kitchen section, and two nearby employees spoke zero words to me, not even to say hello, let alone to ask if I needed assistance. I thought that the styles of cabinets were OK. I found a couple of countertop materials and colors that I liked. Next, I had trouble with finding the tile flooring, because it was not next to the flooring sign, but I did find its aisle, and I chose a particular brand and color that I like. The tile was a reasonable price.

When we were ready to spend $35,000, their attitude completely changed. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, my wife and I thought we might have been mistaken. However, a month after our purchase, our furniture arrived, and one of the consoles was damaged. We assumed it could have been transportation damage. Then, my daughter sat on an accent chair, and the color transferred from her clothing. We were shocked, especially since we had paid extra for care protection. The next day, I went to the store and complained to an employee. Her response was, "Don't let your daughter sit on the furniture." It was the most horrible, rude, and ugly response I had ever heard. I controlled my anger and asked, "I can tell my daughter not to sit, but how about our guests? Should I tell them the same thing?" That same day, I emailed customer service about the incident and got no reply. After a week, I sent another email stating they should either come and take the furniture back or I would dispute the charge. I got an immediate response requesting pictures. After sending the pictures, I received no further communication, so I disputed the charge. A month later, I got a letter stating I owed them money. I emailed again, requesting copies of all voicemails. I then received a call from the store manager, Nicole, to schedule a pickup. They eventually collected the furniture. Now, they have sent a letter from a debt collection agency stating I owe them money which i don't as they picked up their furniture. 1)Their substandard quality does not match their high prices. 2)They lack ethics and professionalism. 3)They only respond to threatening emails.

Because I live in a townhouse, it was going to be an issue due to the large piece of granite that had to be carried up two flights of steps and around corners. I'm not exaggerating when I say you almost can't feel it. I highly recommend Youngstown Granite. Jackie was very helpful in helping me select granite and the installers I had were courteous, knowledgeable and careful.
