They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. Hard to be timely when you're dangling from roofs trying to get work down before the next storm wave. They were certainly better than some other contractors I recently worked with.

We missed each other the first time for the estimate and they ended up providing a virtual estimate eventually. I decided to pass on the work this time around, but from the responsiveness of the owner, I wouldn't hesitate to try them out for future contracting jobs. The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.
