ABOVE AND BEYOND! For those of you who are like me and hunt the 5 star, honest reviews....take a moment and READ! I have been dealing with a "death" smell in my house for a couple of months and EVERYONE has failed at locating it. I found it was strongest behind a plumbing access wall. After a pest control service came out and deemed it a "mold/mildew" issue from a leaking bathtub drain, I started calling for a repair. Mike answered immediately and was honest about his work load and told me to see if I could get someone out sooner. I was added to so many lists I can't count them all. After 3 no shows in a couple of days, I called Mike back. He immediately made room for me and came out a day and a half later - RIGHT ON TIME - even keeping me updated on his ETA. Upon entering my mobile home he immediately pegged it as a "death" smell as well. He and another worker spent about 2 hours inside and outside hunting the source. Along the way they fixed the drain in the tub, pulled down wet insulation (not the source of the smell), checked other flooring, pipes, vents, insulation and walls. He told me he couldn't leave me that way and eventually came across a heavy, smelly, suspect object in another area under my home. They not only removed the dead animal and surrounding insulation but they were also kind enough to bag it and take it to the dumpster at his shop. I asked what I owed and he wanted to only charge me the trip charge and told me to pay what I felt it was worth. I did and he was even hesitant to take that! The pest control fools told me if they found it, it would be $50 inspection fee, $300 removal fee and $125 for hauling it off!!! They sealed up the under belly of my home and are allowing it to dry out before replacing/repairing the insulation, etc. They cleaned up even the smallest particles of debris in my yard from the removal process and I couldn't even tell someone was there! Mike and his helper were so detailed and so kind and truly a GOD SEND! He even told me has a network of people (plumbers, electricians, etc.) he works with that are affordable and he trusts as well. Seriously, lose all the other numbers for your repair needs and leave it to Mike and the rest of the team at Level Headed Construction - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! read more
