This place is fantastic. Look no further. I brought a group of 15 and 16 year old high school kids…read morehere to celebrate my son's birthday. The teens had an absolute blast. The smash room was a total hit, and the kids laughed and raged for a solid 35 minutes before throwing some axes. (Then Luke brought in some more crates for us parents to have our own smash party. AMAZING.) Luke and Tina, the owners, are so chill, happy, obviously love what they do and you can tell they just want everyone to walk out of there having a wonderful experience. We never felt rushed. The main room is clean, bright and airy, with arcade games that we could play while taking breaks. They let us bring in pizza, drinks and cake to celebrate. Great energy, great venue. I can't wait to go back with my girlfriends or even just my two teen boys and my husband for a family night. It was so easy going, so fun. It was everything we didn't know we needed- especially for family with older kids looking for something fun to do with them. OH... AND they sell work by local artists and beers from local breweries because they want to support small local businesses. I mean, come on. What more could you ask for? Thank you Luke and Tina! You have created a welcoming, special place for the community. We will absolutely be back, and will tell all our friends about your place!

Colorado Jukebox, Arcade & Entertainment Company

I asked the owner of Colorado Jukebox, Arcade & Entertainment Company (CJAEC), to purchase an…read morearcade game in her area and ship it to my NY residence. Interestingly, she mentioned on multiple occasions even prior to picking up the game that "don't worry if you don't want it, I'll just pick it up for myself. Even if you don't purchase it...I'd like to acquire it." I voluntarily sent her my $500 deposit to show her my good faith in the project via PayPal on 11/26/2012 (Day 1) with balance payable upon delivery. She was hired to pick up, restore and ship a game from Firestone, Colorado to me in upstate New York at a quoted price of $950 +/- $100 total. The job I hired her for was fraught with problems from early on including restoration details as well as unforeseen increases in shipping costs and delays; she seemed to be helpful throughout the project and repeatedly reassured me that if I was unhappy with its progress at any point that she'd refund my $500 deposit and keep the machine for herself (multiple repeated offers- made me think she really wanted it for herself), but throughout the course of the project demonstrated a seeming disinterest in documenting in writing her spoken promises as well as other key elements of our transaction (i.e., revised estimates, work progress with photos). There were multiple communication lapses, keynote was a 5-day vacation during late December that she did not inform me of despite multiple prior conversations with her I had concerning keeping me informed about the project's progress. By day 42 of the transaction, I thought about the long-term implications about continuing with it considering that it was seriously over budget at over $1,400 total cost and climbing (estimated without the actual S/H charge), it was long overdue time-wise, the communication remained poor and she defaulted on multiple things that she said she'd do (i.e., there were some aftermarket "free-play" buttons in the machine's cabinet that I specifically asked her to remove at her quoted rate of $50 that she refused to do). Despite multiple inquiries, I never received a photo of her work in progress and currently have no idea about whether anything was ever done. I asked for a refund of my $500 deposit per her prior offers via kindly worded e-mail because of my ongoing concerns with communication as stated above and loss of confidence in her and CJAEC's ability to complete the project in a cost-conscious manner because of the aforementioned breaches of contract. She then told me that I had to "wait" for my deposit because she had a two-week class to attend and that she would send it to me by either February 22, 2013 or sooner if the machine sold. She said that she wanted to resolve this matter in a "friendly" fashion and that "for her to not refund the deposit is not how she rolls." However, she did not willingly put this conversation in writing the following day as promised; I texted her 2 days later and she finally wrote: "Yes I will pay you some money by the 22nd of February." Day 93- I gave her until February 22, 2013 despite the above and she again did not refund my money. I spoke with one of her co-workers who said that she is away on a "family emergency" and is unreachable since he's holding her cell phone (the phone # of CJAEC). He said that "she should be back on March 1" but could not guarantee it and mentioned that "there are many other customers in my same situation who are owed money/projects that are incomplete." A web search on her yields additional concerning data. I currently cannot recommend establishing a business relationship with CJAEC. Although a wonderful saleswoman, her interactions show that she does not honor her promises/contracts, seems to have too many personal issues that interfere with her ability to have good business relationships with her customers and as I recently learned, seems to also have similar delivery time/payment issues with other clients.
