My mom needs to change her return flight to a later date because she's staying in Vietnam longer. The travel agent is being extremely uncooperative and told us to contact the airline when we've already did and they said to contact the travel agent. The airline said thay because the tickets were booked through a travel agent that we have to contact them to make changes (which honestly makes sense as that's generally the protocol for any third party booking). Travel agent is being lazy and telling us a bunch of lies. The ticketing receipt even says changes are available. Just take a look at the rest of the reviews - this place needs to go out of business. Don't book here, save your money and book directly with the airline. It's also much cheaper. UPDATE: Had a very frustrating call with the owner/travel agent and he still claims that he cannot make changes to the flight WHEN THE AIRLINE SAID THAT HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE THE CHANGES. I was on hold with the airline for hours. They told me that because the ticket was booked via third party/travel agent that they need to make the changes. Travel agent claims that he's not able to make the changes. Extremely livid at this point! Well, on the touring company "Charming Holidays" website and the brochure he handed me and my wife it clearly is written they leave every Mon, Thurs, Sat. Furthermore, this is not what he initially informed us. If this is the case then why did you quoted us the prices and worked out the whole flying schedule and touring package, and the price with us? Be warned: Vi, his business style is to pressure you into giving him your passports so he can save your spot immediately and then he will charge you a lot more once he knows you are interested. As for doing the Visa you can do it yourself online. Don't let him scare you by saying it is very hard to do it yourself and there are frauds online. Make sure you go to the government website and save yourself $200 per person in comparison to what he charges you (which is outrageous). He has no people skills what so ever...always trying to rush you on the phone and hang up when the conversation has not ended. Because of that positive experience, I went home and convinced my mom to return the same day to submit her application. Unfortunately, our second visit was completely different. We were helped by a young woman whose name I believe started with an "M." There were two employees working at the time with similar names, so to clarify, she was the one wearing a black jacket during our visit. From the start, the interaction felt very uncomfortable. She seemed irritated and dismissive, and every question we asked was met with noticeable attitude and impatience. It felt as though our presence and questions were an inconvenience. Applying for a passport can already be stressful, and customer service makes a big difference in that experience. We simply expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope this feedback helps ensure future customers have a more positive interaction.
