I told our waitress that the chicken tasted off, but she became defensive and insisted there was nothing wrong with it because they had been selling it all day. They remade one chicken skewer, which came out hot, but the rest of the food remained cold or barely warm. We barely ate our meals because of the quality of the food. When it came time to deal with the bill, the waitress was confrontational and initially offered to take only a small amount off despite how little we had eaten. We ultimately left $20 toward the bill. As we were leaving, the waitress yelled at us, "Don't come back." Needless to say, we won't. I will say the sushi chef was much nicer and seemed genuinely apologetic about the situation, which I appreciated. I don't expect every restaurant experience to be perfect, but I do expect concerns about food quality--especially chicken that tastes off--to be taken seriously and handled professionally. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience here.

It features tables and booths, with a long chef's counter along one side and can accommodate quite large groups. I went for my favourite appetizer, tako yaki, followed by the Fuji san special roll. No complaints at all, the roll was enormous and filled to the brim with fish and other delights. Together with a small sake (served in the prettiest jug I've ever seen) and tip it all came to just north of $40.
