Jonathan is a busy man with many clients, but made time to figure out various good activities for us, including the kids. I would plan way ahead of time to make sure this company can give you all the options you need and plan for contingencies also. Be warned that if you haven't traveled internationally for a while (such as before the pandemic) then you are in for a shock on how much prices have risen and how inflexible the airline schedules are. Be ready to adapt and look at it all as an adventure. Jonathan works remotely so you need to be good with planning on the phone and via email. It is a good service and I recommend it highly. Jonathan ghosted us multiple times over 2 months. There were constant family emergencies that I tried to be understanding of, but after 5 of them it just seemed like he was unwilling to help us - almost like he was trying to get us to not want to work with him. When I would follow up, he always said he had asked other members of the team to reach out to us while he was away for his family, and they just never did. Jonathan always apologized and said he'd make it up to us. This happened time and time again, and we still consistently told him we're still willing to work with him - only to get ghosted for the last time a few weeks ago. He stopped replying to me completely. I have never seen a single draft of an itinerary. The ghosting is so unprofessional. If he didn't want to work with us, he should have just said so instead of trying to turn us off like that. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Attached are a few different-dated screenshots. Update: I actually…read morelooked up Cristina Stephens on the IRS's FOIA PTIN spreadsheet and, low and behold, she is in fact on the list. Don't know why she couldn't have afforded me this information upfront, but I'll take back what I previously said about this business being illegitimate. ---------------------------------- Went here for taxes. After receiving a lower quote than other places, I met with Cristina Stephens, and asked what her credentials and background was. She insisted that she is licensed with the IRS, however after doing a search for her name and zip code within 100 miles, it did not turn up a "Cristina Stephenson" (taken from https://irs.treasury.gov/rpo/rpo.jsf). Another tax preparer that I'm now looking to do business with, however, did come up and lists her as being ASFW-certified. After showing Cristina Stephens this, and asking for clarification, she politely told me that if I'm not interested in doing business with her, that I'm free to go with anyone else that I'm more comfortable with. She even walked me next door to what appeared to be a tax office, who turned me down saying that they're "too busy." I may be wrong and the business is more than welcome to post a reply to correct me, but as of now this business has no federal or state credentials as tax preparers and do not recommended them in that regard.

Travel by Monica arranged for us to have private guides to popular sites, which was fabulous. It most definitely was the highlight of the trip. Second, Travel by Monica arranged for us to have private transfers between locations. Four of Five of these trips were great; the drivers were very courteous and safe. However, one was not, and several times during this trip, we thought he was going to get us killed. However, our main issue with Travel by Monica was the Hotels they selected. Since this was for our anniversary, we expected that Travel by Monica would have reviewed these locations and chosen wisely. However, only two of the five locations were satisfactory; two fell below our expectations, being cramped and needing repairs. Finally, there was one that was a complete disappointment. I have closets in my home that are larger than the room Travel by Monica booked us into. It was unsafe, had visible electrical issues, and badly needed wallpaper, bathroom, and ceiling repairs. We considered changing to somewhere else, but we could not because all our transfers were prearranged at that location. Every time we raised an issue to Travel by Monica during the trip, they had an excuse or blamed us. This was not good customer service. Because of Travel by Monica's, poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, and subpar thoroughness, I cannot recommend Travel by Monica to other travelers.
