Jonathan is a busy man with many clients, but made time to figure out various good activities for us, including the kids. I would plan way ahead of time to make sure this company can give you all the options you need and plan for contingencies also. Be warned that if you haven't traveled internationally for a while (such as before the pandemic) then you are in for a shock on how much prices have risen and how inflexible the airline schedules are. Be ready to adapt and look at it all as an adventure. Jonathan works remotely so you need to be good with planning on the phone and via email. It is a good service and I recommend it highly. Just come up with a decent price range for him to work with.

Jonathan ghosted us multiple times over 2 months. There were constant family emergencies that I tried to be understanding of, but after 5 of them it just seemed like he was unwilling to help us - almost like he was trying to get us to not want to work with him. When I would follow up, he always said he had asked other members of the team to reach out to us while he was away for his family, and they just never did. Jonathan always apologized and said he'd make it up to us. This happened time and time again, and we still consistently told him we're still willing to work with him - only to get ghosted for the last time a few weeks ago. He stopped replying to me completely. I have never seen a single draft of an itinerary. The ghosting is so unprofessional. If he didn't want to work with us, he should have just said so instead of trying to turn us off like that. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Attached are a few different-dated screenshots. Shay planned every detail and helped make this a dream come true for us. She arranged everything from flights, hotels and private transfers to and from everything. She planned all of our tours as well. We met with her and gave her our budget and our preferences and she made everything so seamless and exactly what we wanted. Not only did she go above and beyond with the planning process to make everything smooth and seamless, but when the software glitch that occurred in July 2024, grounded more than 2000 flights, and caused us to have multiple flight cancellations at the start of our trip, she was amazing and spent hours on the phone with us, and her supplier rearranging our hotel stays, transfers and tours multiple times to help us when our trip ended up getting shifted 2 days later. She was up early in the morning and late at night keeping us updated with flight changes and accommodation changes. It was a very stressful situation and without Shay, we would not have known what to do. She stepped in and helped us figure everything out so we were still able to have an amazing trip. I can't recommend her enough! She is knowledgeable, professional, and very efficient. She responds very quickly and adds extra touches, like checking us in for our flights, so we didn't have to worry about it while on vacation. She also provided us with access to an app that had our full travel itinerary including flights, accommodations, tours and reservations all organized into one place that made it so easy for us to find all the trip details quickly and easily. It even updated every time there was a change, which made everything very organized and easy to follow. I will be booking all of my future travel with Shay's Getaways from now on!

RUN from Kerri at Forever us Destination Weddings & Honeymoons. I started working with Kerri in February of 2024 and I should have known when she rescheduled our first meeting together 3 different time that this wasn't going to be a good experience for me or my guests. She did reschedule THIS meeting saying it was due to a family emergency, so we were understanding however through the entire process the family emergency excuse was used no less than 10 times making it seem like it was just another excuse. She was always out of the office, having family emergencies or connectivity issues. After we signed the contract with Kerri it was one issue after another. I feel I did her job more than she did, I constantly had to ask her to send emails to my guests who reached out, send quotes (she said she sent them but due to whatever system they use no one was getting them and of course this wasn't her fault, but when asked to "resend" them my guest received them fine), update the tracking spreadsheet (a spreadsheet she created so I could see who requested quotes, who booked, their booking dates and room category), run my guests credit cards, and update our wedding website. No matter what happened it was never Kerri's fault, it was travel impressions, or the IT department, or gmail, or the resort. She never took responsibility for anything she did even when we all knew it was her mistake. July 2024 I was feeling extremely defeated from working with her and I expressed my concerns to her, she told me she would audit all my guests invoices the next day and ensure everything was taken care of up to that point and FINALLY send people invoices because she never sent them when you would book and put your deposit down. Upon her audit she emailed one of my guests and told them they never paid their deposit, the guest replied showing the credit card transaction and Kerri replied that travel impressions lost the deposit and applied it to the wrong person.... How are we not checking where money is going when we are charging people cards, if I didn't ask for this audit when would it have been found and corrected? She emailed people wrong payment amounts on invoices, wrong amounts of deposits paid, she would take weeks to run peoples credit cards (one time the digital card expired 2 weeks prior, when I had to ask her to please run the card). She overcharged a guest's card, for an amount that wasn't approved or even part of any discussion when it came to room cost. I also have a guest who received a free $700 night because her bookkeeping/organization skill are so terrible she didn't realize she forgot to ask the resort to the change the dates until it was to late. Another guest was told she was paid in full; Kerri never ran her card and was emailed about potentially having her reservation cancelled because the room wasn't paid for by the deadline (this was a month after the deadline). She told multiple guest's wrong prices, and they had to question her in order to get the correct pricing. There is so much wrong when it came to how my guests were treated and the constant errors she made, most of my guests feared we wouldn't have rooms when we arrived in Punta Cana it was so bad. When my husband and I arrived in Punta Cana, we had no transportation (included in our room block), I reached out to Kerri's boss as she is the contact when you are in country and received no reply for 3 days. My sister-in-law ended up calling from the states and was assured they would get this taken care of, and I would be emailed new travel documents by the end of the day. We ended up getting a ride to the resort ourselves and when we checked in with the transportation company for our return travel 2 days later, they still had no reservation for us. New documents were sent to us 3 days later but only after I emailed her again because 3 of my wedding guests didn't have transportation either because Kerri had them on the wrong flights even though she was given everyone's flight information. Kerri told me this would be taken care of, and she sent those guests updated paperwork.... The transportation company still had all the information incorrect and said she never reached out. If you have stuck with me this long Thank you. This was the worst experience of my life, and I cried way too many tears over how terrible Kerri was. She truly made my wedding planning experience terrible, and I wanted to cancel everything way too many times because of her. She has acknowledged that she failed to prove herself trustworthy and apologized for how terrible this experience was.... But apologizes only go so far when you continue to make the same mistakes and missteps after the apology. Please don't take my warning lightly....     My brother and sister in law recently used Kerri for their wedding room block in Punta Cana…read more Working with Kerri was the worst experience I ever had by someone in the service industry. It was a running joke whether or not we would have rooms when we arrived. She would take weeks to respond to emails, if she responded at all. All most every time I emailed I received an auto-reply from her that said she was out of the office. She told me wrong rates more than once, she took over 2 weeks to run my deposit and then months after she finally ran it she emailed me to tell me I never paid it. I had to prove to her that I paid it because she didn't keep track of it and couldn't find record of it. Come to find out she applied it to the wrong guest account. I requested an invoice multiple times and never received one. The whole process was terrible. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, I have no idea how she still has a job. And her level of service is not comforting considering I spent thousands of dollars on this trip.

    I did the Grand Canyon West Rim Skywalk Tour with Grand Adventure Tours on a Sunday in January…read more2019. Our guide was Luis, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable - he really attributed to a wonderful experience. We were accompanied by 8 other people that we didn't know, all of whom were very nice. After an early morning pickup at our hotel in Luis' van, we went to three other hotels to pick up the other people for the tour. First stop was the Fabulous Las Vegas sign for photos, and then a group breakfast at McDonalds. We then went on a very picturesque drive out to the Hoover Dam, and we spent over an hour there, enjoying the sights and learning about the structure and its construction. Lastly, we drove out to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the glass bottomed Skywalk, and then took more photos around Eagle Point. There was plenty of time to check out the gift shops. We saw some replica Native American structures, and enjoyed watching some dancing. We then drove to Guano Point for a picnic lunch, a hike, and plenty more photos. Before the drive back to Vegas, our guide stopped by the Joshua Tree forest, and we snapped a few photos. It was such a wonderful day! FIVE STARS.
