Hmmm I don't know how I feel about this place. First, let me start by saying that their staff is…read morereally nice so that's not the problem. I've been to Belo before 13 years ago when I was on vacation in the Philippines I went several times to the Belo Clinic at the Podium and I had a great experience there. Since I enjoyed my last previous visits I thought I'd come back to try them out again, this time at the Shangri-La Plaza. The doctors and staff have been kind to me, this is a review mainly for my experience during the Glycolic Peel. I just wanted a facial to soothe some redness and also get a cleaning done. Mind you, I've done cleanings here in the U.S. so I know what they feel like and I've also done them at Belo Clinics before. Anyway, I got a Glycolic Peel and the peel portion was fine and painless but damn the cleaning hurt so bad! OMG! It was torture! I swear I would have thought the esthetician hated me! I know there's usually that blackhead remover tool they use but it felt like she was following it up with a needle poke in each pore! it was HELL! I was literally crying my makeup off and I don't know why she didn't stop or try to adjust to make it less painful. It was the worst hour of my life and vacation LOL. On top of the pain, because she poked my pores with a needle or whatever she was using, my skin looked like shit the rest of my vacation! My nose had red blood dots from the needle and my nose ended up looking like a strawberry. The worst! It finally only healed now since I'm back in the states. On top of that, I was prescribed a cream to soothe the redness and they charged me 1600 PHP ($31) for Bioderma Brand and when I got home to the U.S. I found out that it's a cheap brand that they sell at Walmart and Walgreens for only $11 -___- Yeah, definitely not a pleasant experience. I suggest doing your research first before buying medication or lotions from here. It's probably cheaper to get it outside the clinic.

Prior to deciding to get off the chemical train when it comes to the food that I eat and products…read morethat I eat, I was a regular patron of House of Obagi Center for Dermatology, better known as Obagi for short. Let me get straight to the point: this place is not cheap. With their signature facial treatment priced at a little less than P3,000, that ought to give you an idea of what this place's products are worth. Initially, my first few facials were incident-free. I really did see a difference in the way that my skin looked afterward, but the last time I did the facial, white dots that look a lot like warts (but aren't) formed on the side of my face. This was the last time I did the facial. The dots are still there. Nevertheless, I think it's important to state that everyone's skin reacts differently to different products so it doesn't mean that this will happen to you too. Just sharing my honest experience. The laser diode treatment is what I vouch for as the procedure was effective and virtually painless. Their doctors are also very professional and helpful, as is the staff. Best part about paying the one-time consultation fee is that you can come back anytime thereafter to consult with the derma without having to pay anything else.

Wrinkle-free and baby-smooth skin is a promise that most products, treatments, and skin centers…read morehave been offering to women. To fulfill their word, these have to undergo thorough research by experts in the dermatological field. One that is guaranteed to have a team of legitimate and licensed dermatologists and plastic surgeons in their medical team is House of Obagi (HOO), an esteemed Center for Dermatology that offers a high-quality approach to beauty while still being the licensed distributor of prescription-based, skin care brand Obagi. Existing in excellence for 25 years, Obagi has been a trusted medical brand all over the world and has been delivering game-changing skin transformation through their skin care products and programs. One of their newest systems, the Obagi 360 Series, is a sequence of treatments to whiten, to clear blemishes, and to revitalize the skin's youth. The process involves a licensed Obagi dermatologist applying on the patient the Obagi Nu-Derm Foaming Gel which detoxifies the skin of impurities, and then the Nu-derm Toner which allows for the Obagi system to be properly incorporated to the skin. Nu-derm Clear aims to whiten and even out the skin tone, while Nu-derm Exfoderm smooths the skin surface. The Blender then improves the skin cells to improve skin radiance. The Sunshield SPF 50 is put on to protect the skin from the harmful UVA and UVB rays, thus preventing fine lines and wrinkles. Also, the Obagi Elasticderm Eye Cream is placed around the eye area to aid in collagen and elastin synthesis, reducing wrinkles around the eyes. Lastly, the TR Complex is used to work in synergy with the Obagi Nu-derm Blender for skin to improve its texture and over-all appearance.
