A really BIG THANK YOU to all artists who made our nails look fab especially the pretty nice lady from Dubai (I wish I got your name), but you're the BEST!! I loved my acrylic nails with unique design. How I wished I can bring you to US. Good luck to you.

There are several issues that have lead to my withdrawal such as rude staff, incompetent nail technicians, noisy girls, bad music, foul smell or difficult parking. Yes, you can say that I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to looking for the perfect nail salon. Nail Cocktales has been my nail salon of choice for nearly a year now since I moved from my old salon. The place always smells so fresh and clean with equipment they apparently sterilize after every use. I have had the chance to get to know the owner and I am quite impressed by how she runs her business. The girl who used to do my nails moved to Dubai which is why Joane is my nail technician of choice these days. Make sure to look for her when you're in the area!

I found this place to lighten my underarm since my skin is very dark. I tried everything from creams or scrubs. They bleach and laser. I also needed a wax before the wedding I had to attend this weekend. They have several chains of this salon so you will always find their services in the SM malls. They don't really require an appointment either. I opted to bleach my underarms as I didn't have time to laser as it requires several treatments. I always had an issue with my underarms being dark since I had my kids. I just wanted you to know my experience and what to expect. They spread the bleach and let it sit for five minutes. The bleach actually started to sting after two minutes but I had to endure. It almost felt like it was sizzling or eating my skin! The lady who applied stayed in my room. I guess once time was up, you have to remove it right away. After, she applied the herb scrub to remove the dead skin and dirt. This was on for twenty minutes. Then after I had my wax. This actually worked a little. It did not totally remove the darkness but skin was soft after. I was told you have to do this once a month for about a year depending how dark. I wish they had this service in the states as I can tell this will work over time! Doing laser treatments will be the same but more expensive. Decent prices as well for their other services. I would come back. [115/100]

Customers Beware!!!!…read more My husband (whom is white) and brother came to get a facial and they were told that the cost would be 450 pesos for each. They both received the same exact facial treatment. When my husband received the bill, he was charged 1,145 pesos. My brother was charged 450. Not knowing any better, my husband paid the 1,145 amount. My mother and I came back 3 days later to discuss the charges with the 2 women you see in the photos. These 2 employees completely denied any wrongdoing, even after we showed them the receipt AND had them check their logbook for accuracy. Additionally, they accused my mother of lying about the whole incident, even though she paid them in cash for my brother separately. The woman on the left was caught lying that my brother was he one who paid...which was not true. I was the witness where my mom handed her the cash and have her the change. She even wrote the wrong price on their log book to cover her end... So , pls. I don't want out guys to fall into this. who knows, they've been doing this to people that are not from here , for years. Which is fraudulent! Perhaps the worst part of all was the fact that they offered no solution to the problem. We were warned about this place....but we didn't listen. This is not the end of this , we are going to pursue legal action. I don't want to happen to any customers ... Pls go somewhere else. Thank you.

My hands had not seen a manicure in ages, and my feet, well - they needed help too. This is located in between the main wing and south wing of MOA on the second floor. In that whole area, there are about 5-10 other nail shops you can shop and may pass through, although most of them are on the south building, while this is on the main building. For some reason, I think this place had the most reasonable prices (aka, cheaper...), but I could be wrong. I had the mani/pedi combo, I think it was 700. Daughter got acrylics extensions for 1500. Her boyfriend did a pedi. We were all very satisfied with the level of service and the quality cures we had. Workers were friendly and very patient. They took their time and made sure our toes and hands were clean and looked great! Second time around - this time we were on a really limited schedule. I wanted to do the same thing all over again, mani/pedi, but no time. My 2 teenage boys got their first manicures (200 each) because they are too old for the kid mani which was 150. I had a 30 minute back massage for 350. Sooo relaxing, was willing to do a 1.5 hour massage but again, no time. The only thing I did not like was that massage lady kept trying to sell me Argan oil for my body and hair, which I had to turn down.

It was clearly a short drive from Manila but getting inside is like being in an alternate universe where birds are chirping, peacocks are walking around, and green is the dominant color. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and we huddled at the Alive! Restaurant for lunch. They serve the "good" in the food. The menu is mainly comprised of vegan recipes yet the taste is satisfying, it will make you forget about meat. It's the only restaurant inside The Farm and there are no nearby restaurants in the area. Price is actually steep but ingredients are guaranteed freshly-picked. I appreciated that the staff are courteous and friendly despite the slow pacing of service. Our stay includes a free afternoon snack and breakfast. The Farm also offers detox packages depending on personal needs. We explored the pool in different areas on during our first day and the second day was a different story. We started our day at the Gym at 6am. The next hour is spent with a breathing exercise and yoga. By 9am, we joined the flower mandala session and then, breakfast at 10am. Everything I mentioned is already a part of our room package for P8000++ for 2pax. There's a complete sense of rejuvenation.

We found the atmosphere, holistic approach to wellness, accommodations, staff and restaurants to be world class. This year we decided to repeat our anniversary getaway there again as it was so special the previous year. When we booked we noticed The Farm as San Benito now fell under Marriott's Autograph Collection of hotels and resorts. As a member of Marriott for more than 30 years we expected what was already a world class resort to be even better, if that were at all possible. What we experienced was nothing but problems and unpleasantries from the first hour we arrived. Upon arrival we noticed they did not accommodate our request for the same villa we spent our last anniversary in even though we previously reached out requesting this during our booking. Immediately upon entering our villa we saw there was two additional beds in the center of the villa blocking all the open walking space. The staff told us the beds were there as this villa was previously booked by another family and they turned the villa down for some reason after being checked in. Even though check in was at 3pm we still had to waste our first hour in the villa waiting for someone to come and remove the beds I remember our last stay upon entering our villa there was a meditating music and bamboo water feature video that greeted us upon entering the villa. This time there was no such greeting and later we found out the internet didn't work properly on the smart TV in the villa. There were no hangers as well in the closet for our clothes. . We then immediately noticed that the normally beautiful view on the back of the lanai of the hillside vegetation was obstructed by poorly maintained broken bamboo and vegetation overgrowth unlike the villa we stayed in the previous year. There was so much overgrowth that the attached pool to the villa did not get the necessary sunshine to bring the pool to acceptable temperatures for swimming. As well the pool wasn't cleaned daily as it was the last time we stayed and it was constantly with plant debris. Our first hour after checking in to the villa we experienced two brownouts where we were without electricity. We then took the walk path from our villa to the restaurant only to be greeted by yellow/black barricade tape not allowing us to follow on the concrete path to the restaurant and had to walk on the hilly, slippery grass. We were told there was fruit falling from the trees over the walkway path. Upon arriving at one of our favorite restaurants there, Alive, we were told the items we were ordering were not available. Also during the past year's stay we were greeted from restaurant to restaurant by a wonderful acoustic couple who provided memorable live music table side. During the 3 days there this time we never saw this type of entertainment which added so much to our experience last visit. At the end of the stay we picked up the phone to request transport of our luggage from our villa to the front desk and the phone was dead. We had to use our private mobile phone to call a Manila number to connect us to the front desk of The Farm to complete the request. All in all this will be a memorable stay but not for a pleasurable experience. Given that I will have to give phrase to the spa staff for their excellent service as well as the restaurant staff who were very kind even with the logistic challenges we experienced this visit. To conclude, we will look at other accommodations/resorts for our next anniversary getaway after our experience at The Farm at San Benito this year. When asked by friends and family about our recommendations we'll share this review with them as well. I'm hopeful Marriott will look into all these issues and will bring The Farm at San Benito back to its previous world class status.
