With the gazillion things I have in my actual and mental to-do list, it's no wonder I get head and body aches from time to time. Don't we all? Well, there's probably no better way to relieve that than with a massage to cap a good day's touring.
Such was the case when we made a stop at Taal Vista Hotel when my friend and I had to do some errands for business in Tagaytay. Tired and in desperate need for forty winks before driving home, I coerced her to say yes in joining me to get a massage. We got the basic combination massage and boy, did we have a blissful time. We were surprised with their couple's room (yes, separation anxiety amongst friends), so posh with draping, a private bath and toilet, even an in-room vanity. If we weren't eager for our massage and sleep, we probably have dilly-dallied longer. After our calming massage, we were offered hot lemongrass tea, which was the perfect way to cap our relaxation efforts and warm our bodies in preparation for the cold night's drive back home. read more
