I recently had to undergo surgery for what I believe was damage done during that service. I believe this because my surgeon told me it was definitely a trauma injury that totally tore my rotator cuff and until I received care at Benchmark it was only a strain. Sorry Barrett - I tried to call you back but the number you left is the main switchboard and there is no option for leaving you a message. And last week at my primary Dr visit they looked up the reports sent to them by Benchmark and the person who signed each of them was not the person who acted as my therapist. So I suggest anyone seeking care at this facility please make sure to see verification that your therapist is actually licensed. I believe I may have been treated by an assistant, it never crossed my mind to verify they were certified. I thought they had to be.

The office coordinators are always welcoming and treat everyone with the respect they deserve. The staff is willing to work with each patient to meet their goals no matter the circumstance. I highly recommend attending this facility for any particular need you may have.

    I was discharged from this location on yesterday and found out by a text message. I then went on…read morethe portal and saw the reason for the discharge REASON: I said I was too busy! this discharge also states I requested to be discarged which is LIES. I have never told the lady at the front desk I was too busy never, everytime I leave the office I tell her I will call in to make my next appoitnment. Everytime I do call the front desk Eva, the lady that sits there never have any avaialable slots so clearly there was a conflict. So I called in this morning to ask why was that reason was put for my discharge and that it needs to be fixed because KEISHA who states she is the Director said that's what EVA told her so I am asking when and what time did I tell Eva that? Keisha still saying that's what she was told trying to undermine the reason and blow me off. Very unprofessional, how is she a Director? She was Very rude and hung up in my face. Before she hung up on me I ask for a Supervisor and she would not give me any information also stated she needs to find out what she can change on the discharge paprer. I am like you put the truth, you discharged me and put your policy reason don't lie on me and say I said I was too busy. I never said that. I would never use this location again and I will definately let the VA know this experience since they referred me there. Not to mention I had seen about 4 or 5 different people since I started in March 2025. Two of them left that location then I saw a guy that was filling in, then two other people afterwards. Honestly, I am very dissapointed and for the lady at the front desk to lie and said I said I was too busy and then Keisha to be so rude and disrespectful is unacceptable, even if I did talk over you at the end of the conversation Keisha, I was NOT rude and as a Director you should have empathy better listening skills and better customer sevice skills instead of trying to disregard what I was trying to explain. Hanging up on paying customes is a red flag and needs to be investigated.

    I've had an extremely frustrating experience with the front office at this Benchmark Physical…read moreTherapy location. There has been constant miscommunication. I was repeatedly given instructions by one staff member, followed them exactly, and then was told by someone else that I should have done something different. This cycle happened multiple times and delayed my care significantly. On several occasions, the office failed to take necessary action to continue my therapy, and I was even discharged while waiting on them to move things forward. One of the worst experiences was with management. After discovering I had been discharged without proper follow-up, I spoke with a manager who was dismissive, argumentative, and raised her voice during the call. She ultimately hung up on me instead of addressing the situation. I was told the issues were due to being short-staffed, but that does not excuse the level of disorganization and lack of professionalism. I filed a complaint with corporate and never received any response. To be clear, my occupational therapist, Adam, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, professional, and the only reason I was willing to continue care at this location. I even asked my workers' comp agency to reschedule me specifically with him. Unfortunately, I was later informed that I had been banned from the location entirely. Because of the repeated delays and lack of coordination from the front office, my workers' comp therapy, which should have been completed over 8 months ago, has been unnecessarily prolonged. I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting clear communication, professionalism, or competent front office support.

    I have been a client of Benchmark Physical Therapy located at 5415 Thompson Mill Rd, Ste B,…read moreHoschton, GA 30548 for about six months, working up to a hip replacement on April 10. A week before my surgery, I checked in at the front desk and was informed by Andre that I had 9 visits remaining. After my surgery, I called to schedule an appointment, only to be told that my therapist had closed out my case due to the surgery. Because of that, I was required to obtain a new referral from the VA -- and as many know, the VA can be slow-moving. Fortunately, I was able to get the new referral the same day, Friday, April 18th. When I called back to schedule, I was told that the only available appointment for the entire week of April 21st was a single slot -- right in the middle of the period when I need therapy the most. I declined the appointment and requested a call from the manager or lead therapist. Dawne Ochoa called me the following week, but unfortunately, she did not offer any real solution to address the situation or help me continue my care. At this point, I would consider choosing a different Benchmark location in hopes of receiving more consistent support and communication -- especially during critical recovery periods.
