Oh if you haven't guessed.... my boyfriend. lol. Anyways back to the plot of this review. We were welcomed by Homer. A happy retired man with lots of knowledge on wine and also the area. I've attached some pics I took of some maps and pages of books that Homer shared with us. We actually came the first time and got schooled on wine for 15 min. Bought a bottle. Went back to our hotel room and got a pretty good buzz. Boyfrand said "let's go get another bottle and see Homer my guy". Went back an hour before closing, and ended up staying the rest of the time there talking to good ol' homer. We had lots in common! What a small world. I was struggling with how to plan something special for a group of 6 without busting the bank and still getting a great experience. I heard about Kathy & Jim's "The Bus Stop Pismo Beach" tour through a niece. I will tell you this was perfect! First, Kathy & Jim are two of the sincerest people you will meet. They both are members at wineries throughout the Edna Valley, so they know their stuff and they love (almost passionate about... ) wines from this valley. One of the sisters is a a wine lover and shared that every winery that Kathy took them too was some of the best ones to visit. Every stop we had a reserved area so Kathy put in the time and catered the tour to us. But it didn't stop there! They included an afternoon snack time at one of the wineries and they shared local products from the valley too. Again, they are passionate about their valley and it extends beyond the wine. The best part of for me was the ride. It is a working, vintage VW Bus!!! This experience took the sister-in-laws back to their glory days; lol... Kathy was the perfect host. She related to the girls and still hosted a professional and memorable guided tour. If you are looking for a fun, memorable experience...do not pass up this one!!!

We were lucky enough to have Jed as our guide for the day. Pick up was on time and we went rolling on. I booked a 7 hour wine tour plus 1 brewery, which they recommended the extra hour since we're visiting 4 spots. The booking process was easy, I requested a quote and got a fast response. Dereck responded and answered all my questions. They did reservations and itinerary for me, meeting our needs and what I had requested. I didn't receive the itinerary til the actual day of and I had to ask for it. Pick up was scheduled for 9am, driver needed to pick up some of my guests at a hotel in Atascadero and the rest of us at an Airbnb in Paso Robles. Driver got to us at 930am and our first spot reservations was at 10am. So, of course we were late to our first stop to Rava winery. When we first met our driver Rick he seemed annoyed and not very welcoming or friendly. The bus only has 2 bottles of champagne for 12 people which not everyone could have. I just wish I knew they were only providing to 2 bottles. They did provide small water bottles and cups. The bus was clean and very nice. We did enjoy ourselves but we were only able to do 3 stops and half my group needed to get an uber back to their hotel after the third stop because we were running out of time which I was really upset about. I messaged the company to speak to a manager about our experience but I never got a call back or a response. I would love to try them out again to give them another chance but I'm afraid I will get the same experience.
