Most Asian bakeries in Cary and other states it was about comparable for private bakeries. Quality: fruit tart , croissant, lemon bomoloni,. Was excellent,. ( I plain donut) textures of the bread was very good and consistent,. Items : some desserts are very overwhelmed and I wonder how many days do they keep the old dessert you can tell by coding on top of the dessert. Service was friendly but I did not like payment system, asking for a tip . Inside was just regular coffee shop deco . I do feel that inside the bakery. The staffs were Polish or European or Dutch.

To have this much pastry talent in Wake Forest is an incredible stroke of luck. Do yourself a favor take a quick ride down Main St. and in that unassuming retail/commercial center by the license plate office you and your tastebuds will be whisked away to far off lands of flakey dough, creamery butter and just enough sugar to make it delicately sweet. You will love everything you try. I especially recommend the Pistachio Baklava Cheesecake! Enjoy!

A friend told us we absolutely had to check this place out, I'm so glad we did. My husband and I visited one evening and ordered a few different items to try. I absolutely love that everything is in a case and you help yourself with your own set of clean tongs. You then take your tray to the register to check out and they will heat up anything you like and box up anything you like. We enjoyed everything we ate and we are looking forward to going back. They have a membership club that you can sign up for for free and you can earn discounts and free stuff. Just for signing up we earned a free pastry.

Once they are sold out for the day it is gone and to try again tomorrow. There is a bit of a wait for drinks if not ordered online but is expected. They have 1 person for people ordering in and separate person for those that ordered online. I ordered online and my husband shopped inside either option is great and gets what you want. People were very busy but with stuff moving so fast I understand they are very nice. Food: we got so many different things we would be here all day listing. But to sum it up. We go the pink velvet king doughnut and pink velvet supreme croissant my opinion they are both amazing but I like the doughnut better lighter and more cream filling. Blueberry and cream cheese croissant amazing!! Mini croissant (better warmed) but nice crunch and flaky. Strawberry croissant: this in the spring would be the best thing on the board. Pink velvet matcha (iced drink): not my cup of tea but my husband loved it and said well worth it! Over all loved it all 10 out of 10!

Ich liebe Annelores deutsche Bäckerei!…read more I first got goodies from Annelore's booth at the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh. The Apfel (apple) turnover was delicious, as was the Heidelbeerkuchen (blueberry cake) and Zitronenschnitten (lemon bar). I saw a nice gentlemen there that day who I think may be part owner; based on what I see on their website I wonder if it was Herr Norbert. While waiting for another guy behind the counter to bag my goodies, I happened to mention (to who I think was Norbert) that I'm learning German, and he spoke some basic German to me! Which I understood - OMG, must tell my German teacher. A couple weeks later I needed to bring desserts to our monthly Book Club meeting, and Annelore's was my first thought. I decided to visit their actual store in Cary. Even though it's an hour away from home, I stopped by one day when I had to go to Raleigh for an appointment. An Annelore's employee helped me with selecting about six cake slices and 2-3 different bars, plus some German cookies. The inside of the store is very clean, and there are some places to sit if you'd like to eat there. The employees were kind and helpful (and patient, in my case, trying to decide what to buy for a Book Club group I'd never met in person). Annelore's German Bakery is a wonderful way to take care of your dessert needs and support a local business at the same time. If you need a dessert, cake, scones, or other treats for your home gathering, BBQ, church social, potluck, business lunch, or other event, I would definitely let Annelore's take care of that part for you! 10/10, highly recommend! SO good! Vielen Dank, Annelore's... Ich werde Ihr Geschäft bald wieder besuchen!

Came here recently and really enjoyed my visit!…read more First, there's a small parking lot right next to the bakery, and I think a larger parking lot at the rear of the building. I got lucky and snagged a spot near the front, though :) I looked around at everything and it all looked so tasty! I decided to grab a loaf of pumpernickel bread, but next time I'll probably get a dessert or two. The staff were helpful throughout my visit. They asked me if I wanted my bread sliced, and when I replied in the affirmative, gave me a helpful chart with a lot of different options for how thick I wanted each slice :) I took the bread home, stuck it in the oven, and ate it with some butter and jam. Delicious! My kids really liked it as well. Overall, I will definitely come back!

JP's is a dedicated gluten-free kitchen but you probably knew that already. I am not a gluten-free…read moreperson but I live with a few. Most gluten-free store-bought items taste like sawdust and cardboard. Not here. I can say with certainty that the baked goods here rival gluten containing baked goods. Their oatmeal or chocolate chip creme sandwiches are my favorite. Cinnamon roles a close second. If you're trying to keep your house gluten free without making non-gluten-free household members sad from low quality poor tasting GF food...then this is where you need to shop. I can certify that I am not sad eating GF goods from here whereas I am with popular name brands such as Udis. As a West Virginian, I have rarely seen pepperoni rolls made outside of WV except here. For them to be gluten free I've never seen anywhere else. They are exceptional especially if you put them in a toaster oven and let the cheese melt and the pepperoni sizzle and the bread get a little toast on it. This is an extremely small shop with no public restroom. Most of the items are frozen but they do have fresh daily offerings. They will heat up items for you such as a cinnamon roll if you can't wait to get home, just ask! As with all things GF, there is a GF-tax. It is expensive. But again, most GF people are not surprised they have to pay a little extra. JP's shows you why it's worth it though.
