I decided to visit their actual store in Cary. Even though it's an hour away from home, I stopped by one day when I had to go to Raleigh for an appointment. An Annelore's employee helped me with selecting about six cake slices and 2-3 different bars, plus some German cookies. The employees were kind and helpful (and patient, in my case, trying to decide what to buy for a Book Club group I'd never met in person). I couldn't wait until desert time, so I opened a pack of 3 cookies that come pre-wrapped, and left no crumbs, they're THAT delicious. After eating a normal meal, I cracked open the Peach Cobbler that came in two large mason jars. It's honestly the greatest thing ever. I ate about 1/4 of that mason jar in one sitting before stopping myself. Everything tasted super fresh If you're considering ordering, stop thinking about it and just do it, you won't regret it.

If you're trying to keep your house gluten free without making non-gluten-free household members sad from low quality poor tasting GF food...then this is where you need to shop. I can certify that I am not sad eating GF goods from here whereas I am with popular name brands such as Udis. As a West Virginian, I have rarely seen pepperoni rolls made outside of WV except here. For them to be gluten free I've never seen anywhere else. They are exceptional especially if you put them in a toaster oven and let the cheese melt and the pepperoni sizzle and the bread get a little toast on it. This is an extremely small shop with no public restroom. Most of the items are frozen but they do have fresh daily offerings. They will heat up items for you such as a cinnamon roll if you can't wait to get home, just ask! As with all things GF, there is a GF-tax. It is expensive.
