We were given their name by the prior homeowners who used Richards for years prior to that (so a verrry long time). At first when they were smaller, Richard would be the one along with a helper (his son i believe) to personally close/open our pool. They were great, service was great and they crossed their T's and dotted their I's. Good work all around and the cost was reasonable. Thru the years, however, as business expanded i'm guessing the workers who were being sent out were less than great and they seemed to always forget to do at least 1 thing to winterize the pool properly simultaneously the cost to close the pool has increased substantially. Year after year since 2017 the quality of the job deteriorated with each new crew being sent to do the work. This last season in particular, they absolutely 'forgot' to add chemicals and the filter sand was not even cleaned - they used to top off the sand filter just by sticking their hand in there and taking out any muck from the first couple inches. When we opened the pool this summer it was an absolute mess. I mean, I've NEVER seen the water look worse than a mucky pond - EVER. It took us over a week to get the water clear. If this was a fluke I'd understand but since their workmanship over the years has steadily declined as their prices have steadily skyrocketed i feel it's time to say so. Do better Richard.

I mean, isn't that part of opening a pool? While I was calling their office to speak with their boss Tyson, they just picked up their gear, got in their truck and left. Without saying a word. Tyson didn't answer his cell, and has yet to call me back. I see many negative posts for this business, for good reason. Maybe Richard is ready to close up shop, as he sure doesn't seem to care about keeping his customers. Stay away from this one folks, or you too will have disappointed kids on your hands.

Jason and Nathan McClurg came out to find a leak in my pool, and they were fantastic--very knowledgeable and professional. They explained everything they were going to do beforehand and made sure I had the chance to ask any questions. After locating the issue, they clearly explained my options and were able to fix the problem on the spot. Their admin staff is also professional and a pleasure to work with. I wasted $155 for service call just for this guy to tell me that I have to spend another $1475 to replace one rope and two gliders. I got suspicious of the pricing and said I'll think about it.I learned by experience not to make quicks financial decisions out of fear or desperation because that's how the companies like this take advantage of your desperate situation. I called Caribbean and they showed up within 2 hours and quoted $711 for everything: 2 ropes and sliders and something else. Their service call is only $99 by the way! Carribean Pools is the best all the way! They fixed my cover that same day within 45 minutes! If this guy scams on repairs, I can imagine how much he bankrupts people on pool installations and such! Unless you are dumb and rich Avoid! Update: looks like the owner is also a liar big time. I didn't suggest any quick fixes as I have no knowledge about the pools however, I did feel like he was pressing me to pay him $1475 like there was no option left AND I did question this high price (not quick fix). I am glad I did question since that saved me money! Also he informed me that the rope was previously repaired. Carribean pools told me the rope was NEVER repaired before (another lie BY TRITON). The Carribean pools quote which was showed me before the service was done, clearly stated what I was paying for unlike this guy who owns triton pools just told me the price is $1475.
