My therapist is still in graduate school, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but they're honestly amazing--super skilled, kind, and really easy to talk to. You'd never guess they're still in training because they seem so experienced. Before coming here, I had some bad experiences with other therapists--canceling sessions all the time and even one who just straight-up didn't show up. It was super frustrating and made me feel like my time didn't matter. That's never been an issue here. My therapist is reliable, consistent, and always makes me feel like a priority. The clinic is also just a really welcoming and comfortable place. You can tell they care about what they're doing, and it shows in the quality of the people. If you're looking for good therapy that's affordable and dependable, this is definitely the place to go! Also for me the office has a great feel, the energy is just magic.

Through consulting with Jennifer Samsom, my wife and I decided to work with Eden. What a great decision that has turned out to be! With only a few sessions, I noticed myself changing, and the issues I struggled with seemed to not be so difficult. I feel heard and encouraged to grow. She's really good at slowing my wife and I down so we can work together before I get overwhelmed. I feel significantly better equipped to handle the emotional hurdles that used to take me out. Thank you!

I was really scared, a bit skeptical, but desperate. Cara was exactly what I needed. Her empathy, compassion, and kindness comforted me right away. As I continued therapy, I was blown away by her insightfulness. She understood me when I didn't have the words. She was grounded, and she brought me back down when I got carried away in shame spirals, or lost in my own ramblings. She would gently bring me back to the heart of the matter. When I moved, I had to stop therapy with Cara. I was so sad, because she had made such a huge difference in my life. She reminded me all the time to give myself credit for how much hard work I had done, but it didn't even feel like work. It just felt like healing. It's hard to describe the feeling she gave me of being known, accepted, appreciated, and validated. It was a feeling I hadn't known I'd needed all along. When I look back on that time before therapy, I feel like it was a different version of me. I was so confused and so lost. Cara helped me find myself and even appreciate the parts of me I had previously been embarrassed about. Cara is such a gem. I am writing this review two and a half years after therapy, because I still think of her often. She is a gift to the world.

Dr. Papel is so much more than a doctor... She is a healer in every sense of the word! I have a…read moregenetic condition/connective tissue disease called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) I was diagnose in 2010, 5 years after my life began to dramatically fall apart. I displayed many symptoms my whole life of EDS but of the many doctors I saw throughout my life consistently assured me that my symptoms (dislocations, severe bruising/hematomas, chronic migraines, problems & pain digesting, reoccurring infections... Too many to list but you get the idea) When I finally got my diagnosis of EDS it became painfully obvious that no doctors knew what EDS was let alone knew how to treat me... I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, gastroporiosis, all of which are comorbid conditions of EDS. For years after my diagnosis I was treated systematically with pain pills, stomach pills, pills for fatigue (amphetamines) all of which made my life so much worse... I pleaded with doctors to help me find a way off the pain meds and they just kept upping my doses saying it was my only option and trying to convince me I was depressed ... When I met Dr. Papel I was on morphine 3 times a day, norco 10mg 6 times a day, Ibuprofen 800 4 times a day and no my pain was not managed! No my fatigue....On a good day I was struggling @ 50% Dr. Papel told me about a medication called LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) she explained to me how LDN works and she helped me to get off Morphine and drastically reduce my Norco & Ibuprofen 800's I take both maybe 2 times a day!! And now with LDN on a good day I am @ 80 to 90% it's been years since I've woken up without pain, nausea, or fatigue and I honestly can't say when the last time was I remember being able to function at 100% but my life is at its best thanks to her and I am actually thriving now not just struggling to survive. I realize this is just a review but it's taken me months to find the right words to say about this Dr. Papel I only met 8 months ago when I started this review but it has sat unfinished for well over 2 years now, and even though this is long winded all I really want you to know is she will help you if you give her the chance, she is a doctor but truly the only healer I've ever met and believe me my search has been extensive totaling over 20 doctors and countless specialist! I am grateful beyond words... She is a brilliant woman! I've had to leave her due to financial issues but I will make my way back to her as soon as I can. I will miss her.

Where do I start? Oh Boy…read more... I was in desperate need for a psychiatrist and my previous doctor was awful. So when I met Theodore, I felt wonderful because she discovered how I was feeling and immediately went to prescribing the medications, mostly doubling the dosage, which did help, so I'm not complaining there. As far as payment and overall communication, I didn't realize how bad things were until she was trying to take over my life by asking me personal questions- like about my sex life, which I would t even tell my best friend, especially someone I don't feel comfortable with. When I first started seeing her, I was in a bad spot, and without revealing my mental health condition, I felt like I was coming back to life, but then all the judgements came. I lost a substantial amount of weight bc she prescribed me monjauro, yes you heard it folks! When the drug was doing its job, she constantly asked me about what I was eating, blaming me and making me feel guilty for losing the weight bc that's what it does. She preyed upon my overall vulnerable state. There were sooo many red flags that I ignored. It was as if I was in a police state and I had to depend on her guidance. She never smiled, was overall intimidating and scary. She overcharges obviously, but coming from a family with means it wasn't a big deal until she started asking me about my income and when I confronted her she gave me some bullshit answer. So I wouldn't have to pay $800, yes $800 folks, I fired her explaining why in a brief text and her response was "okay." I know like can be tough and it's so hard finding care, but you will be more messed up after her. Fortunately I have a strong support system, but I am sensitive and now I'm questioning everything about myself. I implore you to do your research before finding care.
