Dr. Robert Weber worked as an oncologist at St. Mary's hospital in San Francisco along with his…read morebrother, Dr. Peter Weber, a neurosurgeon. Dr. Robert Weber diagnosed my mother with brain cancer when she was 42 years old. He referred her to his brother for brain surgery. They both concluded that the tumors in her brain were inoperable but Dr. Peter Weber would place a shunt in her brain because that would address her symptoms. Dr. Robert Weber was cold and lacked empathy and was culturally insensitive. I was 16 at the time and I told my mom during her appointment with both of them in the room, that she should get a second opinion at a different hospital. In our culture, like many other cultures, you don't question doctors. He was very aggressive and aware of my mom's lack of confidence in speaking up, so he took advantage of her situation and told me to leave the room for the remainder of her appointment with both of them, even though my mom needed help with English and understanding medical terms such as "metastasized". They said that she had cancer that was from 9 years ago, when she had breast cancer of which she had received treatment and it had completely healed, but somehow it sat in her brain for all of those years. That didn't make sense to me. Both brothers would not let me come in with my mom for her appointments and terrorized her into chemo and radiation to the brain telling her she was "going to expire" and that she had two months to live. He Dr. Robert Weber was particularly cruel and a bully. My mom was scared and went through an aggressive radiation treatment to her entire brain along with chemo to the brain. Dr. Peter Weber placed the shunt in her brain that caused more problems in her limb. He then had her have another surgery where an implant needed to be placed in her leg to address the complications from the shunt. She was scared and trying to keep alive for her kids because that's what they told her she had to do. The treatment was so concerning that the hospital social worker, Fern, called my mother in to tell her that the treatment plan was wrong and she couldn't watch in good conscience what they were doing to her but Fern never said anything to the hospital. I watched the social worker cry and tell my mom she needs to leave St. Mary's. That she could have went to UCSF to have had pinpoint radiation to the lesions in her brain instead of radiating her entire brain. She was worried about the radiation and all the surgeries the brothers had my mom go through that didn't make sense including adding an implant into her leg and a shunt in her brain. She was so scared for my mom that she got my mom connected with the Make A Wish foundation to try do to something nice for her because she didn't know what else she could do to undo what Dr. Robert Weber and Dr. Peter Weber had done to her. After the all of the aggressive radiation, chemotherapy, shunt and implant into her leg, and hearing from the social worker, and countless emergency visits to the ER and many hospital stays, my mom went to UCSF where we are told that she had never had brain cancer. When we tried to reach Dr. Robert Weber, St. Mary's hospital said that he was on vacation and they couldn't contact him. When we tried to reach Dr. Peter Weber, the hospital said that he, too, was on vacation and he could not be found. We tried to understand what was happening to my mom and they made it difficult for us and had lawyers present when we tried to speak to the hospital. My mom's body has been breaking down year after year starting when she saw Dr. Robert Weber and his brother. She was 42. My mom is now 69 years old and I am 43. Because of the full brain radiation that Dr. Robert Weber put her through and the malfunctioning shunt that Dr. Peter Weber place into my mom's brain, she can only say a few words, she cannot walk, she lost use of her hands, she cannot eat on her own, she cannot use the bathroom on her own, she requires full time care from her adult kids, and she cannot tell when we are in the room with her. I have a 13 year old daughter who will never know my mom's laugh and personality or the full extent of her love because of Dr. Weber and his brother. The statute of limitation is 1 year for legal action. We were too busy trying to keep my mom alive and trying to understand how to care for her by the time we figured out what he and his brother had done to her. Do not go to this man or his brother Dr. Peter Weber who is currently working at CPMC. Some people might have benefited from their care. But Dr. Robert Weber has a wake of lives he has destroyed behind him.

The front desk staff is helpful and checks in promptly. There was some confusion initially, post check in and while waiting, I received a text message notifying that the vdo consult would be 30 minutes late. Since we had purposely opted for an in person appointment with the specialist 2 months prior, we were quite confused. Had to go back to the front desk to check, they also were confused since per their records I was checked in for an in-person appointment and the specialist's staff was duly aware. We waited patiently. The MA came within 5-7 minutes and took us to do the vitals etc. We were asked to wait for just some more time as the specialist was busy with an emergency case, which is absolutely understandable. Waiting was not a problem so long as we were able to do the meeting in-person. Overall a satisfactory experience. Also, the specialist was as knowledgeable as we expected. And despite them being in a rush due to the other patient who needed their attention later again, they were able to spend some quick but quality time with us. Appreciated.

I am not clear why the same business has two Yelp profiles so I'm posting again: A family member of…read moremine was diagnosed with cancer, and while researching treatment options, I came across Infuze MD. After a brief call with an employee named Paolo, who spoke positively about the clinic, I shared the information with my relative. In hindsight, I realize that in my desperation, I may have overlooked warning signs. At the time, I did not realize Paolo is not a medical professional, even though he was the first person discussing treatment options. The clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Nilda Agnes Abellera, who is board-certified in PEDIATRICS but whose clinic advertises integrative medicine. My relative traveled from out of state to begin what was described as an "intensive" 20-day cancer program. According to her account, the first three days did not feel intensive. She reported that infusion rates appeared slowed, staff could not explain the scientific basis for some treatments, and the doctor missed a planned medication review. She also observed what she believed was dried blood on a chair and described an IV bag fully draining while the needle was in place, which worried her. On October 9, 2025, she said her care was terminated immediately after raising concerns, without timely written notice, referrals, or arrangements to ensure access to medical care until she could establish care elsewhere. Referrals were only provided after I contacted the clinic. This abrupt termination caused a delay of over a month in her treatment and worsened her PTSD symptoms. She also tried to obtain her medical records multiple ways. On October 10, she requested them in person but was denied. She also submitted a written request and used the clinic's online inquiry form. As of this writing--52 days later--she has not received her complete records. When I called the clinic, Paolo was tense and dismissive, and I could not speak directly with Dr. Abellera. Given the situation, I became concerned about whether proper procedures were followed and intended to file a complaint with the Medical Board of California. Additional observations and concerns (personal experience): Family-run structure: The clinic is owned by Dr. Abellera. Paolo appears to manage many aspects, and another family member may also work there. This raised questions about oversight and role clarity. Online reviews: Of 32 Google reviews, 5 were five-star without details. Only one mentioned "cancer," making it hard to evaluate patient experiences compared with other clinics with hundreds of detailed reviews. Difficulty communicating with the physician: My relative and I tried to speak directly with Dr. Abellera; she did not speak with me, and my relative felt the doctor was unwilling to address her concerns. This lack of communication was alarming given her serious diagnosis. Cost vs. expectations: The program cost approximately $1,800 per day. Based on my relative's experience, the services did not match the program description. Others may feel differently, but this was our impression. Social media promotion: Paolo participates in Facebook groups promoting the clinic without identifying himself as an employee, which seemed misleading. I have included a screenshot for reference. In more than a decade in healthcare, I have never witnessed a more concerning divergence from a physician's duty to do no harm: terminating care without notice, effectively leaving my relative without immediate, comparable care options while facing life-threatening cancer.

There was one particular staffer who was extremely condescending from the start. Another patient was very surprised at her tone with me considering that I was nothing but polite and respectful to her. On top of this, she continually scheduled me at times that were not the most convenient but I tried to make them work. Apparently, she also thought I "had the audacity" to ask if he could review some test results and explain them to me. I was made to wait THREE hours past my scheduled appointment before Dr. Moretti finally saw me. Once I made it into the exam room, he took calls from other patients. That visit lasted less than 10 minutes if you include the numerous interruptions. I saw how much they charged my insurance company and at those rates, I should have gotten a focused visit at minimum. Obviously, that was the last time I went there. I'm taking a screen print of this review because I've reviewed this guy THREE times already and noticed that the reviews fail to stick.
