Like others have mentioned, she is busy but when she gets in the room, she is 100% engaged and committed to what's happening with you. She is proactive in monitoring and catching chronic disease before it progresses, and she is so completely thorough in explaining medicine in every-day terms. She won't make you feel crazy coming in with twenty questions and self-diagnoses, and will explain on every point what's happening or not happening. After some questionable test results, she referred me to a specialist who diagnosed me quickly, rather than enduring health issues for years like so many other patients. I can't speak highly enough of her. I can't wait until my insurance changes and I can start seeing her again.

Lisa is an excellent physician and her network of specialists is also really truly top-notch. She never punts on a recommendation and takes whatever you need to ask about seriously but nonetheless remains candid. She also keeps the communication friendly and encourages updates about more mundane things like work and such that give her insight into what's going on and such. Three important comments: 1) I am a guy and feel 110% comfortable with a female primary care physician (actually feel more comfortable with her than with my male doctors of yore); 2) DO NOT be late. Try it some time and see what I mean. You won't be late ever again! 3) Put your cell phone on vibrate or silent before you enter the office or again push those limits and see what happens. Don't worry, she's not a hard-ass; just trying to make sure we all respect each other and help her stay on schedule etc.

Made me wait 38 mins and then told me to see another provider or wait indefinitely in case the Dr can see me for 10 mins at some point, but no guarantees and no idea when. FWIW this Dr has made me wait 30+ mins in the past and I've never complained. The Dr herself is ok but the staff are incompetent and don't care about your time. If the Dr were exceptional, you might consider dealing with her awful staff.
