Every meeting with them is with sincere, caring, thoughtful meetings. I called Dick Miller from my dad's hospital room when I knew the end was coming and he assured me that when the end came they would be there for us and we did not have to do anything to get my dad to the funeral home. When you are in the midst of grief it is reassuring to have a funeral director and home that cares about you and your family.

However, there isn't anything in the law that explains what to do if one doesn't have the means, in this modern age, to pony up the absurd $7k price tag. Honestly, if you think a proper Jewish burial is the way to do this, then I suggest you contact whatever synagogue would be proper/open to listening, and explain the situation and see if they have a fund for such a scenario or congregants who are willing to donate the money. When this funeral home sent people to collect her body from the home, they nearly dropped her on the way out of the house. The workers proceeded to laugh about it and recorded it in video, right in front of her family. The family's doorbell video caught this disgraceful act on camera. Avoid Larson's. Upon entering you feel like you are being welcomed by a country park. The entrance is beautiful and decorated with vibrant flowers. My amazing and loving uncle was taken much to early from us two plus years ago. We were visiting our beloved Aunt and all visited Uncle Rino to show our respect, share a few stories and tell him how much we missed him. The Cemetery grounds were immaculate and beautiful. While we were showing our respects staff approached us with water for the flowers and tidied up the resting site. Honestly the site was in perfect condition. Then the most touching experience was when one of the grounds worker said God Bless you and your family. We all were moved beyond words that they took time to come over and greet us. Outstanding. 100% asset to your Cemetery business. Thank you for being thoughtful you!! If I wasn't going to be cremated this is where I'd want to rest. I highly recommend!

This is the fourth time in nearly 20 years that my family has used Shaughnessey-Banks funeral…read moreservices; my Dad, my brother, my Mom and, now, my 26-year-old son. In that span of time, changes at the funeral home have been inevitable, but one thing that remains constant is how the staff delivers a professional, compassionate and unsurpassed level of service meant for royalty. Pam, Becky, Terese, and the rest of the staff attend to every detail and never fail to treat me like family. During my last ordeal, they wrapped around me with comfort and, in turn, made a devastating situation of the short-lived life of my son bearable. In fact, just knowing my son would initially arrive from out of state into Becky's blessed hands helped me in the earliest moments of our trauma.
