In that span of time, changes at the funeral home have been inevitable, but one thing that remains constant is how the staff delivers a professional, compassionate and unsurpassed level of service meant for royalty. Pam, Becky, Terese, and the rest of the staff attend to every detail and never fail to treat me like family. During my last ordeal, they wrapped around me with comfort and, in turn, made a devastating situation of the short-lived life of my son bearable. In fact, just knowing my son would initially arrive from out of state into Becky's blessed hands helped me in the earliest moments of our trauma. To this day, what also brings me great comfort is remembering how angelic and peaceful my son looked in an expertly and lovingly staged backdrop. I will always highly recommend this funeral home.

Commerce Hill arrived within an hour and was extremely flexible in scheduling the planning the following day. David Dougiello was our mentor during the entire process and did an amazing job of accommodating our requests and taking care of every little detail. We were able to focus our entire energy on the family and helping each other grieve. David and the entire staff went above and beyond to explain everything, offered a no-pressure approach to making decisions that were best for our family, and took care of every little detail leading up to and including the funeral and burial. Thanks to everyone for the support. Please make sure you seek out David and work with him as he is trustworthy, compassionate, and incredibly attentive to detail to help you through your difficult time.

Unfortunately, this time it was my daughter…read more Her husband had wanted to use a service in another city, but my daughter (who was very much involved in the decision making prior to her passing) stated, "No, mommy was very happy with Lester Gee, so we're going to go with them." We did so, and I really got to see first-hand how kind and caring they are. Chris and an associate came to the house to pick up my daughter, and they were so patient as the family said their good-byes. They handled my baby with such care. Afterward, my son-in-law interacted with them and he is not the most knowledgeable person. Again, Chris was just so wonderful and patient. I cannot thank the Gees and their associates enough for their kindness. Knowing my daughter was in such good hands was comforting to the entire family. And they didn't try to overcharge us, or sell us things we didn't want. Although it is a business, they never treated us as if they were only interested in the bottom line. It may sound strange, but if I'm in Bridgeport when I pass, this is the place I want to handle my remains. Thank you so much, Lester Gee and company. My family and I really appreciate you.

Actually laughed at how much a nonprofit organization was willing to pay to help with the cost and said that the mother would just have to cremate "it". Taking decisions away from a mother who has already just had her world crushed. Just leave dead babies and their loss parents alone. Clearly out just to make a buck without a care. Wrong line of work for that.

They have consistently offered kindness and support throughout the burial process of both parents. The team has been kind, humble and supportive to our family. Morton's is a historic family-owned business, founded by a Tuskegee Airman and his wife, a CT State Representative. So we set a time and was told Mr. Morton's wife would be there, but the barber sat and waited for a half hour and nobody ever showed up. To make matters worse Mr. Morton told me they would line him up and they didn't. Then we wanted to get a belt to someone to complete his look and they even gave us the run around about that, it is sad that you are in the comfort business but you didn't provide any. Not only that but they tried to charge us $100 extra, saying an IT person had to be called to help with dismantling some pictures for the program. Where is your compassion and professionalism. My cousin didn't look anything like himself. They even had the date he died wrong on the program. Stay away from this funeral home I would never use them or recommend them!
