For a moment I was bummed out - that was the end of that particular fund segment of cycling in nature - but then I saw that there was a pizza truck. I was super-happy to eat a top-quality fresh-baked pizza and have a Heineken. The truck had just opened, and so the owner's mother was there to cheer her on. I had called ahead to be sure they were open unlike the other restaurants we drove to, and the owner was exceptionally accommodating with reserving us a table, treating us with great service, and the food (local cider, homemade pasta, and dessert samples) was amazing (coming from two who know our Italian cuisine!). We especially appreciated that our waiter (who I'm guessing is the owner's son) practiced his English with us as we struggled with our French.
