I was in Jersey with a friend for the weekend and we wanted a restaurant on the Sunday night that…read moreserved good food, good wine and had a good atmosphere. Luckily we wandered in here! The first decision we had to make was where to eat - confusingly there is a steakhouse upstairs, and very similar menu downstairs, but with tapas too. It seemed nice down there with booths and a fun looking bar, so we went with the path of least resistance and stayed downstairs. The evening was lovely, the food was very good - we had Szechuan prawns, followed by steak, mushrooms and cheesy mash. It was all very tasty, but what really made the evening was the wine - the South African Pinotage was delicious! Service was good, and there is the button on the table that sends an electric shock through the wait staff to get them to scurry over to your table! Lovely place, brilliant night!
