Had a couple of hours while we waited for our train on a rainy day, so we stopped in one of the first places we found, La Pergola. We had our luggage with us and it was a little cumbersome trying to find a place to stash it while we ate, but the staff was patient with us. There were many choices on the menu but we settled for two pizzas, one was a four-cheese or "quatre fromages." The other was a sausage type of pizza. Both were delicious! The cheese was fresh and included gorgonzola, one of my favs. The waiter was a teenager and he was so efficient and pleasant. We had a nice lunch and experience at La Pergola and would definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Saint-Lo, France. read more
