This is the first time shopping at Leon's. The General Manager Harsh is very Professional in the way he treated my wife and I. He listened to what we wanted and let us decide are final choice of product. Harsh is really kind with a smile on his face. My wife and I both commented that this is where we will come back too shop. Last nite we came in to Leon's again and found DK . This young man could not do enough for the wife and I. He again listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions. Then waited for my wife to make her decision. DK is very Professional and kind in the way he treats the customer. It was again a Great Joy to shop at Leon's again. The first delivery we got from Leon's was by two gentlemen: Rupan and Savy. Both men worked very good together and were very careful when coming into our home with the heavy furniture they had to carry up 15 stairs. Not a mark on the wall. We recently purchased several items from Leon's Langley & were very happy with the service, delivery & installation of appliances. Latest item purchased was a dinette table & chairs, which were back-ordered. Table came first & was a bit of a challenge to assemble, but we made it. Next the chairs arrived requiring assembly. The holes in the pieces did not line up, so took it back to the store. We dealt with the Manager at the time, Brandon, who was super to deal with & made it all right. Bought a sofa with lounge and pull out bed. First my knee went right through whatever material (felt like corrugated cardboard) on the arm of the couch. Then a thread came out of the tufting. Sorry, Zukor platinum insurance won't fix that. Out pops another thread. This is in the middle cushion. Now there is a big bulge that feels like a spring coming through with no tufting to keep it in place. They don't cover that either. I keep trying to get someone to repair this but never get a return call. So basically I have a $2,000 lump of corrugated cardboard, fabric, stuffing and a spring sticking up right where my butt would sit. What a piece of crap. Everyone I've spoken to trying to find a repair person tell me they have lots of problems with Leon's furniture requiring repairs. read more

Leon's marketing extremely misleading. Their flyer says "SAVE THE TAC EVEN ON SALE ITEMS" Huge letters at the top highlighted in fluorescent yellow. I go in to purchase washer and am told it's only on kitchen appliances and only if I buy three. It says that nowhere in the flyer. Gentlemen can't show me this anywhere. He then suggests it's already on sale. I suggest otherwise noting it's the same price at five other competitors. I then ask about their price match guarantee noting one competitor has item for $150 less. He says they price match but only large chain stores like Home Depot. I point out the competitor is a large chain store ( Coast Appliances). He says it has to be large BOX store. Really? these guys are false marketers in so mention aspects. Garbage customer service, my aging mother ordered a washer and dryer and was told it would be installed on arrival. Delivery team says they cannot and my mom has to call the manager to be told that she was lied to because Leons wants to only make money and not help their customers. We will now have to find a plumber since Leons will tell you anything to get you to buy their product then fuck you over as soon as the money is in their pocket. read more

Ordered a chair back on November 27, told it would be 6 weeks but instead it was over 21 weeks before I received a call it was ready for pickup. For compensation I was given free protection plan which I was told I would be contacted by someone for them to come do the protection. 6 weeks later I had to call them and inquire to which I DID NOT receive an apology nor an explanation as to why this had not been done. I was told that they would send off the request now and I would be contacted in about a week. We will see... I find this kind of customer service a disgrace and will not be referring anyone to this store nor am I going to be returning. read more

Poor customer service, we were shopping for a chair which they had seven of the same type on the floor. 4 of those were not even in display. The sales person could not be bothered to show us anything to begin with (we were the only customers in the store) when we told her we would like to buy the chair she told us we would have to order it and we were looking at three weeks. I asked her if we could purchase one off the floor but she said "no everyone asks that". We advised we needed it sooner than three weeks, she did seem concerned so we left the store. This was a guaranteed sale that they refused. We went to the Bay and found a similar chair which they sold off the floor at a huge discount which was unexpected. Point being if you have the item in stock SELL IT! If every customer asks to buy floor products maybe you should revamp you sales model. Leon's just came into the BC market. I purchased a deposit on several items of furniture during Boxing week sale. Knowing about Covid related delays I anticipated a bit of a wait but after 3 months called to enquire only to be told "we don't hold items until it is fully paid for".... leading me to wonder ... would they have ever contacted me? would they just keep my money forever? Of course I asked this .. answer... "We don't want to pester our clients"... Yes I got mad and asked for a manager but then they hung up and ghosted me by screening my call for several hours until I got smart and used a new phone. The manager was nice and assured me that training would ensue and that we would proceed with the order. 6 weeks later I got a call saying that "the furniture was in but wouldn't be held without payment"... again ... ! no instruction about setting up delivery or "yay it's here and it's lovely" nooooo just same old story. I emailed the manager to refund me. I was instructed by front desk to come in to have a refund. No, I've spent enough time and they've held my funds for 5 months. I am now waiting for a cheque to be mailed ... So sad... I like to shop local but I won't go back. Staff need TRAINING!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would! Absolute scam! Never going to shop at Leon's ever again. I ordered a outdoor sectional online, there was no mention of estimated delivery time or cancellation policy when I placed the order. A couple hours after placing the order I was contacted by the store to say it will be 12-14 weeks until the sectional is ready. I responded back immediately telling them to cancel. The next day they responded saying it is a non-cancellable item and there is nothing they can do for me. There is no way I would have placed this order knowing it would be 12-14 weeks or there was no cancellation. I understand companies are desperate during these times, but this customer service is absolutely unacceptable. read more

Terrible service, terrible products. Ordered a kitchen table package (just under $2,000) and waited just over a month to go pick it up. Brought it home and found the table scratched, chairs missing parts so asked for an exchange. After waiting two weeks for approval Leons accepted the exchange and replaced the suite. Waited for the new package to arrive and the same thing, scratches on the table etc. They pushed for another exchange but all I wanted was a full refund. Waited weeks for them to pick up the faulty suite only to find on pick up day they would only take the table - no chairs. Waited again to pick up the chairs and now they say it will take another week to process the refund! I have been without a kitchen table suite since late October! I ordered a couch set for delivery on November 8th. the 2 pieces are getting delivered on separate days as one was in Edmonton (understandable) but when they tell me it will be approximately 3 weeks before the second one gets delivered and it's the end of December and I only finally here back from them to schedule for Tuesday on the 22nd where I have to take time off work for them to say it's being delivered on Wednesday instead.. Went in to purchase a TV stand which they had 3 of, not even in use, on the floor. We were told none of them could be sold to us and we would have to order one, which would take 2 months! Our sales guy did try to persuade the manager into allowing him to sell one to us but the manager refused and kept insisting that it was their policy that they cannot sell floor items. What kind of policy is this? You're a furniture store who can't sell furniture unless it's ordered in? Absolutely ridiculous. Lost a $400 sale, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We bought a washer an dryer which we had to rent a truck to pick up because it was needed right away.and they wanted to charge an extra delivery charge. because we also bought 2 couches that we wanted after our reno.we also purchased a dishwasher and a microwave for are new cabinets. Long storey short we waited an extra month to get the couches delivered. Then one of them wasn't right so they took it back to fix which took 6 more weeks. No discount . now 1 1/2 years later the washer isn't spinning out. We call they don't give a shit because we didn't buy extended warranty .12 thousand spent on their products. To be treated to this B.S. .I'm tempted to smash the washing Machine in front of there store. Or charge people a 1dollar to hit it with a sludge hammer. Don't expect you will be treated any better. Wow I'm not sure what all the whining is about , I bought a full set of Samsung appliances here just last weekend, the salesman Mike was awesome, showed us just what we were looking for and got us a great deal compared to sears and trail . Just got our delivery yesterday and everything was great they showed up on time unpacked and set up everything going above and beyond the terms of service, and when I went back this weekend they got me an additional $300 refund . We recently ordered a black leather sofa, chair and ottoman through the Leon's in Langley, BC. We had already visited several other furniture shops in the area and Leon's seemed to offer the best deal for what we wanted. We had to wait 6-8 weeks for the sofa/chair as they were being manufactured in Ontario and shipped to BC. The ottoman was going to take longer because it was being made by a different company. We were not going to receive the set together, which seemed strange. We had to initiate all communications with Leon's to track our order. We received the sofa/chair several weeks ago and both had flaws that need repairs by a leather repair company contracted by Leon's. The sofa has a scratch and the chair has a stain. Our ottoman was delivered to the store yesterday where we picked it up. Upon careful inspection we discovered the underside wood frame was crushed on one side, causing the ottoman to sit crooked on the floor. We're returning the ottoman for full refund but there is no refund for time lost waiting. There is no way to know exactly where this occurred but probably during shipping. Obviously, Leon's does not inspect ordered items for it's customers to insure quality. We are very upset and disappointed with our dealings with Leon's. This furniture set was fairly expensive yet all three pieces had damage of some kind.We can not recommend this business and would warn people about purchasing items to be ordered and delivered at a later date. read more

If I could give them minus stars I would. This is my very first review ever and for very good reason...just totally unacceptable customer service on their part!!! A month ago we went in to the Langley Leon's to buy all brand new appliances. It's the first time my wife and I have purchased brand new appliances and were so very excited...just wish I went somewhere else! First off, the refrigerator was delivered with a scratch and a dent and the stove and a huge dent on the bottom. We refused the stove and took the fridge...didn't see the damage on the fridge until we unwrapped it. Dishwasher and microwave were fine however the microwave is another story but worked out better in the end. Had to reselect a counter microwave instead of an above the stove microwave we originally purchased. Salesman forgot to mention a few things to us about that. We did end up getting a new fridge after a few days which was good. We received a new stove soon after which had another dent so we refused that one also. On to stove 3 which also had huge dents in it so we refused that one also. Now on to stove 4 which you guessed it had huge dents in it. All this time I've been dealing with the customer service girls at Leon's who were actually really good and in all honesty its not their fault. They just follow the direction of the people above them. The poor customer service lies with the managers who have not reached out to us at all. I have not asked for anything more than just a stove that is brand new! What I was told through the customer service girls with direction from their managers is to come in and reselect a new one, take the damaged one with a $250 credit or get a full refund as they don't want to send out the one we bought and have this happen again. Why the hell would I take a damaged stove? Why would I reselect as we got a good deal on this one and they aren't willing to give me a different one for the same price, after all the BS I guess I might just get my money back but the stove everywhere else is quite a bit more expensive as this was a great deal. Prior to the 3rd and 4th ones being delivered I had asked if they could check for damages...they don't do that. How can one company fail so miserably on one customer...imagine what they are doing to other people. To top it off I phoned this morning to speak to the manager to sort all this out. He/She was not in at the time. I was informed via email and phone that He/She will call as soon as they are in. It's now 7 hours after the fact and no call. Enough is enough. How can a company survive when there is so much competition out there. My wife and I have been and are Managers/Leaders in large companies that are primarily based on customer service!!! I personally would never of let it get to the third one. It would have been fixed after the first mistake!!! The saga continues... read more

We purchased a large bedroom set with a storage bed from Leon's at the end of May. We were told by the sales agent that the the delivery guys were going to set it all up for us. We were especially glad to hear that because we were planning a move around that same time and would not have the time or energy to deal with it. Well, the set up did not happen. The delivery guys said that they did not do set up - only the Brick did. Called the store. The sales agent - Rick Turko - was there and told the girl on the phone that he had never said that. I would say that he is a liar. We would have never agreed to a delivery on the day after moving day when everything is in chaos. We gladly purchased the set and booked that delivery day because the guys would be setting it all up. After a long gruelling day unpacking, my husband was subject to working hours putting the storage bed together and then he got up early today and had to finish the job. So disappointed. This review is for Leon's Furniture Victoria, BC Here is what happened: We went into Leon's looking for an accent chair, after browsing HomeSense, Bed Bath and Beyond, Winners, etc. Leon's had two really cute, white accent chairs (the colour we wanted, great price which we were more than willing to pay). We approached a saleswoman and asked if we could purchase one of them, and she quickly told us "No." She said, unfortunately nothing in the store was available for purchase, only for show. She offered no further information and so we turned around and left the store. On our way out she called after us only to say "Thanks for coming in!" No solution was offered and our business was turned away. We continued shopping around for something similar, and saw a few other chairs we liked, but our preference remained that chair back at Leon's (of which they had two on their floor for display). So, we decided to call them and see if they would continue to refuse our business having found alternative chairs to buy. The first time we called we expressed how much we loved the chair, that we would be willing to buy a floor piece at full price, that we would come buy it and take it ourselves without delivery, that they had two on show, that they could order another in and have it as their floor show piece, that we were in a bind and needed a chair that day and begged for an exception, but they simply said no. I made this call as my Mom sat beside me waiting for a "yes" and when I hung up she was in utter disbelief. She decided she would call back and speak to a representative herself, with the inherent belief that a customer who was polite, interested in a business' product, and who was willing to go the extra mile to pick it up themselves, and waive manufacturing expectations for the trade off of a floor model that they loved would have their money gratefully accepted and appreciated. Needless to say, that was not the case. They entertained her phone call for a couple of minutes, told her they would check (again) with the floor sales manager, and call her back. They called back about 5 minutes later and said, again "no." No solution offered, no apologizing for their inflexibility, absolutely no attempt to please a customer who was very interested in their product and willing to compromise on quality if it meant they could spend their hard earned money on that specific style. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years, and during that time, "no" has never been in my vocabulary. We came, we saw, we loved, we begged, and received no compromise, no sympathy, no solutions, no respect. Leon's is not only inflexible, but incapable of training their employees for customer satisfaction purposes. If you want to feel valued as a customer, steer clear of Leon's Furniture. We truly did need to buy an accent chair that day, and were treated respectfully and as though we were valued at virtually every other furniture store in the greater Victoria area (particularly at The Brick on Douglas- wow! Outstanding customer service - they bent over backwards for us when they didn't even have a style or price that suited us, they still offered a series of possible solutions, culminating in one amazing offer!). No where else could I imagine you would beg to buy a chair, of which the store has 2 on hand, at full price, for floor piece value, THREE TIMES, and be told "no." with no further solution offered, by unsympathetic, undertrained, and monotone employees. read more

Then I asked to buy the floor model and they refused. I said why do you have the tag still on it. And she said well we're busy.
