I recently was looking for a leather electric recliner or sofa, so Google searched for stores near me, found the typical franchise stores which I checked out, however also noticed Rob's Furniture store on the Langley bypass below the 204th st overpass. What a great find! Quite a large store, huge selection of all kinds of furniture, prices were on average 25-30 pct less than other stores I checked for same or similar products! No frills, not much advertisement but about 20 yrs in business in Langley, mostly word of mouth customers, terrific, no pressure service very knowledgeable sales staff. I highly recommend checking this store out before you buy anywhere else. read more

I am vegan and don't want to animals to be slaughtered for me to sit on but I couldn't find white faux leather sofa with chaise anywhere until I went to Rob's. Joe was so helpful and they custom-made my gorgeous new sofa with chaise, chair and a half and ottoman with storage, exactly the way I wanted them. Reasonably priced too. He said it would take 3-4 weeks but it was done and delivered in 20 days. Delivery went smoothely too. I will go to Rob's for any future needs. read more

I am starting to feel the same about furniture shopping as I do about buying a car. It is an icky process that I am uncomfortable with, and no offence intended, both industries seem rife with slippery people who take every opportunity to be dishonest. I have to say that Rob's has decent furniture, and this store location seems small but is quite vast on the inside. They have always been helpful, and the last time I was in there, the sales guy was actually decent and I didn't have the urge to shower when I walked out. I know that isn't a ringing endorsement of the store, but the industry is pretty much on the same page with their way of doing business, and Rob's is no exception. They are a little better than most, and that is all you will get from me. read more

We purchased furniture from Rob's, we were looked after by Joe. It was a very positive experience and we left happy. Just about 1 year later the furniture we purchased was not as good quality as we thought, it started to have many problems and break (recliners). I called up Joe and explained the situation to him and he sent someone out to our home to take pic's. He has gone far above and beyond in helping us get the furniture exchanged. I have never had any problems with furniture before so I was not sure of the protocol. He has helped every step of the way!! I cannot express my gratitude enough to the excellent service he is providing us. We get an early Christmas gift of a new couch thanks to him! We will go back to Rob's for any other furniture needs in the future. Thanks Joe, you Rock!! Karen read more

I have dealt with Rob's on numerous occasions when purchasing furniture. Have dealt with other Big Box stores and had nothing but issues. Each time I have purchased at Rob's it has been a positive experience. Recently purchased new furniture, which was custom. Although there was some miscommunication about size when purchasing the sofa, Joe the Manager corrected it and dealt with the matter quickly. read more

Purchased furniture was told it was in the warehouse, you can get it in a few days. Now almost 7 weeks later and promised 3 other dates, we still don't have what we ordered. We were told it would be delivered today. We had to call them to see what was going on and was advised they will call us maybe Tuesday. Actually dropped in and spoke to a manager, who quoted me the token line. We've been in business for 16 years and don't screw with our customers. Why continuously give us dates, when you can not stand behind your words. We are in the guest service business and they were pathetic in their explanations and lack of caring for their customers. Nothing but empty words. Would love to talk to a head office but good luck finding a number. Frustrated to say the least! read more

Hi My wife and I looked at numerous furniture stores in the lower mainland only to go back to the place that always been great to us . The selection was great and the price of furniture was reasonable. The sales person we dealt with named Kevin was very experienced and very professional and knowledgeable . I would recommend anyone needing great service and price to ask for Kevin . Brad and Dianne read more

So I first purchased a nice coffee table for the Robs in langley off there showroom floor and at the same time I bought a hutch with glass doors. The sales women was good and found what I wanted right away. I was given a delivery time off 1 month on the hutch as it had to be made. So three months later and many phone calls later it missed three delivery dates and finally showed up late on the fourth. I had to unpackage it and off coarse its scratched inside and has a ding on the front. So they are repairing it now and say they will componsate me on my next purchase from them which will never happen. I would not ever buy from them again unless you need that one piece that only they have. read more

Will never deal with Rob's Furniture again. Purchased a bedroom suite with the poorest stain finish job we have ever seen compliments of the factory "Quality Wood". After 3 attempts to obtain a decent product (including an offer to "touch up" finish from Quality Wood staff member in our home on our carpet?), we have given up. No offer of at least a discount or gift certificate for finally exchanging for the foor model which was the color we thought we were purchasing. Delivery staff at final delivery removed existing furniture before I could finish comparing to choose the best drawers I could. Sales staff and delivery staff somewhat disrespectful to women. We noticed no disrespect when speaking to my husband in the store, so conclusion is obvious. Lots of references to imply that this is all somehow "my" fault by snide comments, ("well this is what you chose" and "it is just the light" even after pulling 2 pieces side by side to compare where the finish was missing entirely), and commentary regarding the cost of fuel for delivery trucks (I PAID for delivery) as to my inconvenience of waiting since our purchase date of April 26, 2011 to problems with first delivery May 6, days waiting for phone calls and 2nd delivery May 13 and final delivery May 18. Unprofessional attitude. Perhaps some of the Langley store staff and delivery staff need some customer and gender appropriate communication training. Might be a good idea for Rob's to use a factory to produce the product they sell guarantee consistant quality assurance. Shame on us for not having all the furniture removed and insisting on a refund so we could spend our hard earned income in an establishment that stands by the product they sell. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP HERE!. My husband and I purchased a custom couch which turned out to be too big for our place. 2 men from Rob's furniture in Langley offered to come and try to make it fit. I arrived home to find my husband freaking out as 2 men had the couch pried between my walls up my staircase. There were holes in the drywall and the guys ripped off the trim of my walls with a screwdriver. I demanded them to stop and leave. Once outside a confrontation began and the one man drove away and the other denied ever being in our house and said he caused no damage. A screaming match ensued on the phone where the salesman Joe yelled and screamed at me and denied everything. He yelled "You're some 20 year old complaining over a stupid couch" then hung up on me. I called back enraged and another employee answered then hung up on me. They refuse to fix any damage done to my home and also the extensive damage to my $1000 custom couch. After being promised an exchange because they refused a refund. We waiting a month for a new couch being promised it in 2 weeks. Several trips to Rob's and they kept toying around and said it wasn't in. Finally we went to Rob's to pick up the new couch and I asked to measure it before I take it, I was not I was not allowed to measure it because it was already packaged for delivery. My husband and I took the couch to our house and opened it up to find a less quality couch and not the color they promised as well as the new "smaller" couch was a whole foot bigger than the original couch that did not fit in the first place. No manager was available to talk to and the employees would not give me the name of the manager, or owner. This has to be the ABSOLUTE WORSE experience with a business we have ever had. Please do yourself a favor and spread the word and whatever you do, NEVER BUY FROM ROB'S FURNITURE. read more

I can honestly say that Rob's Furniture store in Langley took care of me from beginning to end. Friendly staff who are not pushy. I shopped around for furniture and my last stop ended at Rob's Furniture store. I compared prices and Joe gave me the best possible deal on all our pieces that we purchased. I highly recommend shopping around and bringing the details of what you are looking for or found and they will make sure that you get the best possible price and even beat the price you were quoted elsewhere. I am a very happy customer and I will be shopping at Rob's Furniture again in the future. read more
