The food is so good, i will drive over an hour because a lot of restaurants use bad oils and over processed foods. I know I am getting quality foods here. I can even have their fried foods because they do not use soy oil or peanut oil. They use OLIVE OIL! They use the same quality ingredients I will use in my own home to feed my kids. Absolutely superb! We love coming here. They have the best pizza in town. This time around we tried their cheesesteak pizza and truffle fries. Everything was amazing and we can't wait to try their wings next. This spot is great for a date night or to pick up and enjoy at home. Waited too long for a seat; others that came in after us were seated before us. Once seated, we were in the middle of a thru-lane for servers, and servers made us feel uncomfortable being there. Items we chose off the menu were already gone: servers acted as that was OUR fault. Once served, the sauce looked like and tasted like Marie's from the store Upon leaving, waitress threw at us. No "Thank you for coming," or an attempt to smooth the departure. We loved the Old Giovanni's. This new one has room for improvement. read more

The pizza was a soggy tasteless mess. The pasta was cold and the meatball hard as a rock. The buratta cheese starter was very good. Too bad the rest of the meal was awful. Ordered a margarita pizza well done. Horrible, soggy, super wet, mushy, middle. No crunch. Tasted like an amateur pizza you would try to make it home and then realize it wasn't worth the effort because it sucked... They need to learn how to use their fancy pizza oven. A little crisp would be nice. The Bruschetta was some sort of diced tomato and onion soup in a bowl with a lump of burrata in it. Not good. Way overpriced for the taste. Ordered "to go" a pizza with bacon. They don't have bacon. But they have mortadella and that's like "Italian bacon" , no mortadella is not "like" Italian bacon. That would be pancetta. Mortadella is deli meat made from the cheek of the cow with pieces of pistachio throughout. I will never eat it. More importantly I will never put it on a pizza or feed it to anyone. It's not for me. Enough said. Ok well do you have sausage? Yes! We do. Ok. Can I have a pizza half sausage, half cheese. Ok well they're about "this big" uses her hands to exaggerate the size. Ok then give me one plain and one sausage. And an order of gnocchi with crabmeat. Red sauce please. Sure. That'll be 20 minutes.. Welp. The pizzas came out. About 12" around $1.50 an inch for the plain and $20 for the sausage. I didn't even know what to say when I got them. Neither of them were cut, the sausage had no sauce on it. But rather had a wad of onions and peppers plopped in the center. I paid my $75 for my diminutive dinner , left a 15% tip and went home. I was starving. Hoping the taste would make up for my disappointment in the size of the pizzas I was going to present to my husband and his kid. I was having the HOMEMADE gnocchi afterall. It was meh. And that's being kind. There was no flavor. To any of it. The gnocchi were fresh but flavorless. The sauce had nothing. All show and no "go". Seriously disappointed. I had to unload the Locatelli from my fridge for it to have any hope of flavor. Serious disappointment. I WANTED. To like it . I really did. The place is cute inside. It's quaint. It's a BYOB. The waitresses are nice. not very knowledgeable but nice. But this is hands down the worst Italian food I've had since I moved to the area 5 years ago. I'm sorry. I really really wanted to like it. We have eaten in and taken out of this restaurant. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. An unusual decor. The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly and nice. The food is delicious, the type of menu you don't get in every Italian restaurant. We had the Panouzzo and the Pizza Frita both were a substantial sandwich. First off, ambiance is nice. Frank Sinatra, couches, nice lighting. It was almost completely empty on a Thursday night at 6pm. We were greeted immediately by who I assume was the owner. She was nice and allowed us to choose where we're sat. I was in a party of three. We chose one pizza to share, truffle fries and each got a drink. They have a mocktail menu (if you want it spiked, bring your own booze). We each got one w no alcohol. We waited shortly for our food (about 20 minutes) and they brought out delicious truffle fries, enough to share among three people. We chose the burrata pizza to share. It was a small personal pizza, not nearly enough for three people. The pizza was yummy but they give you scissors to cut your own pizza and it was SO soggy. The crust was good other than the fact that it was raw. We ordered a second pizza, a classic margarita with mushrooms and sausage (not my choice). It was completely soupy and raw. The sauce was watery. Also, why was a mocktail $7? It was only three sips in a tiny glass. It came to $81.00. Overall, it was not worth it at all. Maybe I'm bias because I'm from New York and I eat a lot of pizza. I probably won't go here again. People were nice, food wasn't. read more
