You actually get an education with him! He cares about you as a person and your health as a whole. I have never felt so cared for by a dentist. He has a warm, friendly demeanor that would make even the most anxious patients feel comfortable. And if he's not enough of a reason to choose him as your dentist, his hygienist is the best too! She is so sweet and makes you feel comfortable and welcome! His front staff are great too and I often get stuck chatting with his receptionist. I have had no problem with the implants but the last time I went in for locators, I was charged twenty five dollars each I have 5 so thats alot of money me with out any notice at all, when I was ready to leave I was told there would be a charge I was turned over to the one that handles the finance for a bill of $125.00 I was floored after years of no charge for the tiny piece of rubber used to hold the implant in place, I told the lady I didn't have the money that I was not prepared to pay that, she was wanting to know how much can you pay she ask 3 times before I could answer,I said maybe $50.00 that was more than I had to spare my checking bounced from that so be prepared to be billed and his word doesn't mean much.

My initial visit to Dr. Carney's office was in April 2024. He was friendly. Dr. Carney diagnosed a…read moreneed for LANAP laser surgery and bone graft surgery, which he performed on 04/30/2025 & 05/14/2025. Four bone grafts that Dr. Carney implanted failed and dislodged from my teeth. I brought some of the dislodged bone graft to Dr. Carney's office on a walk-in basis. His dental assistant was indifferent about the bone graft failures. When I asked Dr. Carney about the failed implants on follow-up visits, Dr. Carney was unsympathetic and dismissive--completely unlike my first visit with him. Dr. Carney did not see the need for intervention to correct his failed implants, yet Dr. Carney said that he would likely have to pull the loose teeth. I now have four permanent loose teeth. I have pain when I eat, drink and even when I talk as air crosses my teeth's exposed roots. Dr. Carney exercises his medical discretion aggressively and diagnoses aggressively. I regret relying on Dr. Carney's 4-star and 5-star reviews and I profoundly regret visiting Dr. Carney's dental practice!

I get the earliest appointment available which is 6:50am or 7am , they text me reminders of my upcoming appointment. In these text messages they send me a link to fill out any paperwork I may need for my visit that day. I am usually the first patient of the day so I dont have to wait long to be called back. The first time i went they took x-rays and pictures of my teeth. The hygienist there was very nice, polite and professional. I see her every time I go in so its nice to see the same friendly face. She does my cleaning and I dont feel any pain when she does this. Then I see the dentist and we go over my overall plan for my teeth. Let me tell yall, I had a wisdom tooth still attached to me and for the longest time I had refuse to take it out (for several reasons) but after speaking with the dentist about wanting to fix my teeth I realize that tooth would have to come out. I was scared, no lie, but the team made me feel at ease when we started that process. The financial department was very patient in answering all my questions and explaining to me what my insurance was and was not gonna cover. On the day of the actual extraction I go there early, they took me back, set me up with laughing gas and honestly that part took the longest. They numb my face and gave me the gas and then proceeded to take out my wisdom teeth and the whole that only took like 10 minutes and it came out in one whole piece!!! AND I GOT TO KEEP IT!!! I have also gotten clear aligners from them and that process has been good so far. When I visit I am usually the only patient there and is pretty quiet. When I do need to schedule an appointment with them its a pretty smooth process as well. I have notice they (in this suite) do not have a ADA entrance, its a small step up but even once you get inside they have a very narrow hallway. Even the bathroom is small but I guess that is the space they got to work in. Also, the Dentist noticed I was showing early signs of cavities and prescribe me this medical grade toothpaste for $30, most expensive toothpaste in my life. Overall I would recommend coming here to get your wisdom teeth remove in one piece.
