I can see it's a place to be for hiking/trailing / biking/ exploring nature. I came here for tubing/sledding, a lot of snow/fresh snow. Not crowed , this place is a gem, hidden secretly. The fam had fun, good work out, alot of hills. Portable potty everything . A lot of history in this park.

Excellent acoustics and high-end electronic equipment help the speakers and performers give their best. A recent sold-out lecture by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer was inspiring, challenging and warmly entertaining. It was followed by a marvelous chamber music concert featuring a collection mostly contemporary works influenced by a connection with nature. Grace Farms' mission is to support nature, arts, justice, community and faith. It's a much-appreciated place to refocus and refuel in these difficult times.

It is the culmination of many years of effort and cooperation among private citizens, local conservation groups including the Lewisboro Land Trust, and the state, county and town governments. The parcel was originally part of Van Cortlandt Manor, a 86,000-acre tract that ran from the Hudson River to Connecticut. The area was settled in 1776 by Enoch Mead, whose descendants farmed the land until 1974 when it was sold. From 1974-2003, the 100-acre parcel was enjoyed by riders, walkers, cross-country skiers and hunters. In 2003, the town, county, and state bought the parcel with extensive financial assistance from local residents. Over 100 species of wildlife have been observed on the preserve, and it provides increasingly rare old field/meadow habitat for field-dependent species. The trails are open for hiking and horseback riding. Highlights Five fields in various stages of succession, with wildflowers and birds, dogwood blooms in May, highbush blueberries turn color in fall, woods, wetlands, watercourses, and old stone walls, the remnants of an old orchard, magnificent view from the FAA tower (trail leading to tower is somewhat steep), connection to Town Park and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation (see map). Parking is easy at the middle school across the street. My dog had a great time, although he's little so we had to carry him for the rock scrambling parts. There were dogs off leash despite the signs so just be wary if your dog doesn't do well with others or is nervous around big dogs. Trails are well marked and maintained. We used All Trails to connect one trail to another. Check for ticks! We found two on the dog in the car.

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding as a bridesmaid. The space was beautiful and spacious. The china on the lower level in casing was beautiful and the colors chosen have a very old home comfort feel. Takes you back a bit to another time. Lighting for images is great here and there is a handicap parking close to the ramps which make entry and exits very easy. They offer recycling and trash in their kitchen. The staff on site was very informative and kind. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The videos and photos we took look beautiful!!! I'd like to personally thank Tarrywile for everything!!
