If I could give more than five stars I would; Alex is simply the best person I have ever worked…read morewith on a house project, and it's not even close. First off, I solicited quotes from many contractors, and everyone insisted that they had to visit my home to give a quote, even though I knew the length and height of the project. This is a common tactic to make you feel like you have to go with someone because they spent their time on the quote, but Alex was more than happy to give a quote by email. His initial email was extremely detailed and gave many different price points depending on options we selected. And as I debated the options back and forth, he patiently walked through my different ideas with me and sent many example photos. Also, he was one of the few we talked to who knew exactly the kind of texture we were looking for (cat's face). Others had never heard of it or just said they couldn't do it. Once we had everything finalized, Alex was incredibly patient as the HOA dragged their feet on the approval, but once I got the HOA approval, he was able to start the project right away. Each day Alex sent an email with the time he expected his workers to arrive, when he expected they would leave, and what they would be accomplishing that day. Other projects I have done on my house have just had contractors show up with no warning or just disappear for weeks without communication (while some part showed up...or something). Alex visited the home multiple times during the project as well. All in all, the project completed quickly, on time, and was extremely high quality (my Dad, who's a huge stickler, was incredibly impressed). I can only give Alex my HIGHEST recommendation.

No, they didn't mess it up the first or second time--I just suffer from a little thing called squirrel syndrome (aka ADHD + chronic indecisiveness + an unhealthy relationship with Pinterest). Thankfully, Norse Painting came through like champs--again. They were professional, punctual, and didn't even judge me (out loud) for repainting the same space twice. They just smiled, got to work, and made my latest color crisis look flawless. The walls look amazing (again), and I'm already 90% sure I'll call them in a few months when I inevitably decide I'm "feeling something warmer." Highly recommend them... and I'll probably do it again, once I'm bored with this color.
