All the staff was friendly, attentive and precautious. Dr. Lim was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.

As a healthcare professional myself, I can't even fathom dismissing patients concerns and holding no accountability for my actions like this office does, doctor included. After my exam, I noticed the prescription was vastly different from my current one. I called to express my concern before ordering my glasses, but the manager, Jodi, dismissed me. She was incredibly rude, even asked if I'd listened to her voicemail because she "didn't want to repeat herself." She insisted the script was right and told me if it wasn't, the glass company would just "fix it for free." The glasses arrived and, to no surprise, they were unwearable. When I returned to be re-checked, they tried to charge my insurance a second time for their mistake. Dr. Gubman was condescending, told me I "wanted" my eyes to be worse, and actually cut me off mid-sentence when I was explaining how we ended up here and the behavior of his office manager telling me, "that's enough you're here now." He even told me my cataract was in my right eye, it's been in my left since the day I was born 26 years ago. After a second exam, he gave me a different prescription but refused to admit the first one was wrong, claiming my eyes just "liked" the first prescription that day of the first exam. Never knew your eyes change on a daily basis. Any question I asked was never met with an educational answer, only "it just is". The final verdict during the second exam from this "professional" was I'll never be able to see clearly, only comfortably. Now, the glass company is charging a redo fee (which is fair, as it wasn't their mistake). I called the office 10 times and left a voicemail at 10 am and got no response. I then called off a coworkers phone and was answered right away. When I explained the fee to Jodi she told me she'd call me back and hung up. 6:30 came, no returned call. When I called to follow up, Jodi's response was that she was busy. Her solution was to tell me it's "unfortunate" and my fault for not checking the return policy. She even told me it was my responsibility to ask for a re-check before ordering, despite me calling with concerns. I am now out hundreds of dollars, my insurance won't cover a new visit, and I have to pay out of pocket for a new doctor just to see clearly. Avoid Dr. Gubman and his office manager, Jodi, at all costs.
