The whole experience was amazing! If you're into designer frames with excellent lens quality this is the place to go! The Doctors were excellent and really took the time to explain what I may have needed. From there the LensCrafters associates were all so pleasant to work with. They have many different options in terms of lenes to choose from. I love how the associates take the time to get to know what you may need these glasses for and they make suggestions on which lens would be beneficial. My lens is great and truly excels in what I need it to. I also love the protection plan they offer. My girlfriend uses hers often and I'm very thankful we got it. I don't leave reviews often, but I would really avoid this place if possible. The staff is friendly, but they are very unorganized. I spent 30 minutes doing intake paperwork and completing the eye exam only for them to tell me that they don't accept my insurance and it would be $180 out-of-pocket. Had my annual eye exam appointment today. Been coming here for the past two years. This isn't something most people jump off their couch for, so it was very convenient that I was automatically scheduled for a set date annually. I just had to go online and reschedule for another date that fit my schedule. Since I work 7 days a week today was the most convenient day. This is definitely not a fast process so plan accordingly. The staff for Dr. Thai and associates are extremely friendly. They are also extremely thorough throughout the process of the exam, so you understand what's happening, what's going to happen next and the status of your vision. I felt like I never missed a beat. I did request to get dilated so there's no texting at that while I was waiting to be seen again lol. And make sure to bring some shades if you come during the day. My second part was with Lenscrafters to get some new glasses, my vision is very good just need some for when my eyes get fatigued. I had a pair of glasses already so I opted for some Oakley prescription sunglasses. They got discounted through my insurance and I felt like I would use these way more. GiGi was very friendly and checked on a couple frames I had in mind. She was very patient and was not pushy helped my make my decision on my frame. You get discounts for doing more than one frame and they also have in-house financing 6 months interest free. If you been to the office and ordered glasses here before the process is seamless! They charge a $25 "no-show fee" if you cancel within 24 hours. Doesn't matter your reasoning. They also tried charging it when cancelling before 24 hours. A "no-show fee" should only be charged when someone doesn't show up or communicate that they are cancelling. They tried claiming it's industry standard, but I've literally never experienced this before-- I've heard of $20 no-show fees when people just don't show up, but if you call beforehand and cancel or reschedule, then it's fine. But if you wake up sick and can't make it, or work calls you to work late, guess what... you're SOL for $25. Never heard of that before. read more

It has been about 2 years since I have had an eye exam plus I really wanted some new glasses so I decided to try the Lenscrafters right down the street from my home. I have been going to an older eye doctor for the past 15 years and he is great but totally stuck in the 70's! I really wanted a younger doctor as well as someone with better equipment. I made an on line appointment with the eye doctor which was super convenient! When I showed up today, I filled out a few more sheets of paper and then did some pre-tests to check basic functions of my eyes. The young lady doing the tests was great. Then I saw Dr. Win. He was fantastic! I have never had such a complete eye exam. He was very good, made me feel at ease, and I feel like I had the best eye exam ever. After the exam, I went out to check the new frames! The sales girl Kelly helped me and again, super nice, very professional, and listened to what I wanted. She steered me toward just the right pairs of frames and was honest with me about how they looked on me. The frames I finally bought were fun and fresh and gave me the new 'look' I wanted. We sat down to do all the paperwork and everything was honest and up front. Luckily my insurance company is great and covered more than half of the costs so I was very happy with the final price I paid. Kelly went above and beyond when she did something very nice for me.... I wanted the non glare lens and she said it would be a week before I could get my glasses. I really wanted them today so I told her not to bother with the better lens... but she still ordered the special lens for me PLUS... had regular lens put in my frames today so I could leave with them and not have to wait. She said when the new lens come in next week, she will call me and then I can come in and switch them out! Wow... and at no cost to me! That was great customer service. Not sure if they do that for every customer but it was nice that she did it for me. All the staff at this Lenscrafters was very professional and extremely friendly. I highly recommend them! Be careful!!! I have been going to LensCrafters for my eye appt and glasses for years. My insurance always was the same and for the most part no surprises. I recently moved and set up the appt via the website like always. When I arrive I find out the optometrist is not part of LensCrafters and won't take insurance and I need to pay out of pocket. But! Once I walk across the store and buy my glasses they are LensCrafters and they will take my insurance like normal. So, be aware. The doctors here are not exactly what they portray themselves to be. After 6 months of eye problems with detached retinas in both eyes, my right eye finally healed enough to get a prescription for glasses. I ordered a pair at this location (with clear lens for the left eye), I picked them up today and they were dark brown sunglasses with the brown tint so heavy they are useless indoors or on a cloudy day. The clerk told me that's what I had ordered and I stated in no uncertain terms that I had explained my medical condition to the sales person when I ordered the glasses and did anybody really think that after not being able to drive, read or watch TV for 5 months the first thing I would want to restore my vision was "black out" sunglasses... I was really needing some small encouragement on this horrible journey through my vision problems and this company snatched it away with their careless service. When pricing out I was told since using insurance, I could not have the discount price. So basically they are telling me they are cheating the insurance company. Wrong and unethical. 1.5 years ago I went to this store, been going here for years, had my eyes checked and bought glasses, $600 approx. I went back a few weeks after I received new pair to let them know my vision seemed off. They said I had to get use to the new script and may take a little while. I have been wearing glasses for decades and I did know this. A few months ago I went back to complain about material pealing of my lenses, they said it was scratches from my tinting and would not be covered. I had my eyes checked a couple days ago at a different doctor and was told this, my script was off and the pealing was not tinting it was the glare resistants and it was pealing off not scratched. Warning to all Do Not Go There!!!! They are totally incompetent and the sales staff are just stupid. read more

Do not waste your time with this location. When I originally placed my order for lenses only with an Oakley frame I had to purchase direct from Oakley.com (same parent company owns LensCrafters and Oakley), the sales associate took the wrong measurements for my frame. She yawned throughout my original order, so this shouldn't come as a surprise I guess. The bigger problem here is that it already took 10 days for these lenses to arrive and now will take yet another 10-14 days (possibly shorter since remakes are expedited I'm told, though I was also told not to count on it). They already have my money so I don't have much of a choice but to report this to my insurance carrier. The store manager on duty apologized but didn't even offer a discount for my time and trouble, so I'll now be reporting this to their district manager to make sure they understand how poorly this location is run. The store manager (I couldn't see any name tags) mentioned that I could leave my frames and they could 'fit' the lenses in... and I can tell you know, that's not happening. I've had far too many issues with LensCrafters and my vision prescription is VERY sensitive to alterations and mis-alignments (astigmatism). I also wouldn't be leaving the frames that I had to buy separately. All around, super unprofessional location and I'm sorry that I trusted LensCrafters yet again. They let me down every single time, no matter which state I'm in. read more

The service is good and the eye doctors are competent and professional- however they have no restroom for their patients on the doctor's side. Actually there IS a restroom but patients. Ant use it because they have to store confidential patient files by the door. Get a locking file cabinet!! read more

If you come on Saturday plan on parking really far or driving around for 30 mins to look for close parking. They also don't have a public bathroom which is kinda weird considering it's . ‍ But overall the I had a good experience with the employees. Absolutely terrible. They do not stand by their product at all. After paying $200 plus for just lenses, the lenses have a smudge in them. When I called about getting them replaced, I was told that I rejected that particular lens protection. I never was offered it. In fact the employee said that I would not need it. So unfortunate. Attempted to have glasses repaired three months after purchase - the first person we encountered refused. Their anti-reflective coating was starting to wear off and was making the glasses completely unwearable and unsafe. They initially offered us 20% off to buy a new pair - after 3 months!? The lenses were 40% when we first bought them - c'mon, we weren't born yesterday! Then we talked to Joanna, the retail manager. Wonderful, kind lady. Pretty sure the first person was just a salesperson trying to make another sale - Joanna set it straight and helped us get the glasses repaired/lenses replaced. I had an issue with something and they really were not willing to help but store manager Linda very helpful Optical store - I didn't get any help picking out glasses but once I picked them out and someone was available to help me the lady helping me was awesome and I wish I knew her name to recommend. She wears glasses herself. She took pictures on an I pad so I could compare them. We went over different options and they had visuals to go with it. Had the mixed fortune of choosing this store for my eye test and new glasses. Pre test technician was brilliant. Dr. was superb. If this was all that I was doing on the day my rating would be 5 stars. However, my appointment was for 10:30hrs, I arrived @10:08hrs. I was greeted and it was suggested that I would look over the frames for possible selection. This I did. I selected 4 or 5 frames. I was called in for my 10:30hrs appointment @ 10:48hrs. It was after my eye exam that things went very south. I was left waiting, despite there being 2 sales associates (1 was dealing with a customer, even though she let him leave the store to use a restroom in another premises). Still I was not acknowledged. The second associate never once acknowledged my existence. I thought the associate that took my chosen frame might have acknowledged me when her customer left the building to use the restroom in another premises. No! Didn't happen. So after 35 minutes standing around I left. I'm not surprised that there was no follow up survey sent to me. If you want a top class eye exam go to this store, however if your looking for even moderate customer service from the store side, avoid at all cost. I have been involved in customer/ client service for near on 50 years and what I experienced at this LensCrafters (store side) is so sub standard you couldn't imagine it. The 2 star rating is for the exam side ( I would love to give them a 5 star but it would lead to false pretenses on the sales side). Buyer be ware is all I'd say if youre using this store. read more

I have previously bought 2 pairs of glasses at LensCrafters in Druid Hills Atlanta. My sunglasses got lost and I called to get them replaced. They sent in the order and told me that I will be receiving them after they come in. Turns out they didn't even check to see if they had the glasses in stock because Ray Ban didn't even make them anymore. They told me to go into any LensCrafters and they could transfer the money over so I can pick out a new pair of glasses. I went to this location in Florida where my school is. I was there for about 2 hours and the assistant manager, Gigi, was quite rude about the whole process. She told me I could not get the money transferred over because they didn't do that anymore Blah blah blah. After about an hour of the two stores fighting over the phone. They finally let me transfer the money over instead of canceling the order because their computer system wouldn't allow them to cancel the order. This is just the first pair of glasses. The second pair that I was trying to get fixed, Two screws had fallen out and at first they told me that they could put it under warranty and I could pick out a brand new pair of glasses (different style) and just pay the difference if there was any. Then "Gigi" replaced the two screws that fell out and told me that I couldn't get them replaced under warranty because she found screws to fix the glasses with. So now if I wanted to get them fully replaced I would have to go through my protection plan which was $50 and I wouldn't be able to pick out a brand new type of glasses. So I decided not to do this because they wouldn't discount anything even after all the mistakes they made. I realized that LensCrafters doesn't have their shit together. They are a crappy company and I won't be going back to them. read more

Went to go pick up my eyeglasses today as it was week later when they said they would be ready. I was given glasses that were not that i had ordered at all. I waited there while they fumbled though iPads to look for my photos they took a week prior. They couldn't find them so had to start from the beginning. I live an hour from the store and i explained how it was a major inconvenience for me to have taken this trip and wasted my time. I requested that the associate ship the glasses to my home address instead of me taking another trip back in a week and she approved this request. Associate was very nice and apologetic but the manager wouldn't even get up from her chair to even attempt a service recovery after the associate explained to her the issue. I will not be going to this store again. Very disappointed in the lack of management and the fact that the manager didn't even seem to be bothered by the fact that the customer was unhappy. read more

I wandered around with my tray trying on frames with no luck, when one of the young women came over with two frames that were spot on! I had an exam January 2017 and purchased prescription sunglasses at this Lens Crafters. I came in because another pair of glasses I own need new lenses. I was told than they would not be able to provide me lenses because my prescription was written by them about two weeks over a year ago. The representative told me it was unlawful for them to use the slightly over one year old prescription. She further told me that while they are permitted to write two year prescriptions that mine was only one year and wouldn't be honored without charging for a new exam. Further she said the standard no frills lenses would cost $378. I informed her that Warby Parker validates any prescription written by any doctor for up to two years and that I wanted a print out of the prescription I paid for a year prior. After checking with her supervisor she informed me their computer was down and they would not be able to print me anything. I requested she email me my records. The representative again checked with her supervisor and said she would do what she could. Needless to say I received no further correspondence. They were rude to me and unhelpful. I've paid Lens Crafters thousands over the years but no more. Today's eyeglass market is changing. I was able to get New frame and new lenses from Warby Parker for $99. Wow! And the selection and service are far superior to Lens Crafter. There is a better way! read more

I have no complaints. I called for an appointment and LensCrafters was able to fit me in the same day. The eye doctor was thorough, very kind and pretty fantastic all around. The selection was overwhelming, but Jordan helped me choose frames to minimize my chubby cheeks. Once I had narrowed my selection down to four frames, she took pics of me wearing each with the LensCrafters app on her iPad. A picture really is worth a thousand words! I left with a pair I probably would not have chosen on my own and I love them. I have gone in twice for minor adjustments, and everyone has been very kind and accommodating. Attitude can be everything and our experience yesterday with one employee's attitude will make sure we never go back to this store. My daughter needed glasses so we picked out a pair (with no help). We wanted to pay and you would have thought they were doing us a big favor by letting us pay. The one girl was condescending from the beginning. Telling us to "go sit down and I'll be there in a minute." When we were trying to work through insurance coverage we were confused because earlier that day we had the eye exam and the receptionist said our insurance covered some of the exam yet here at this store they said we had no coverage. When we explained what we experienced at the other store, this employee all but called us a liar with snide looks and expressions throughout and told us how she knows the other store because her "best friend" works there. Well how she thought we talked to "her friend" or not is a mystery but she didn't waste any time calling "her friend" to prove us wrong. We were told "the eye exam place gave you a discount, they didn't use your so called insurance." If we hadn't had our daughter sitting there excited to get glasses we would have shut her attitude down immediately and walked out but our daughter wouldn't have understood why. This person looked unprofessional and acted like it as well. We felt like we were trying to get customer service from someone from the Jersey Shore cast. It was unpleasant. read more
