I soon found out that Dean is a personal stylist there and he does a fantastic job connecting with people and helping them find the perfect pair of glasses. You can really tell he enjoys his job! The African American woman, hands down love her! She's down to earth, funny, personable, and also connects to customers very well. The manager, shes lovely and very welcoming too. The only odd ball of the group is Alan, one of the opticians. He's one of those "one of these things is not like the other". They sat me down with him so he could input my info, and it was like talking to an automation machine. To be honest, it doesn't seem like he fits with the culture there. I'm asking him questions about what my vision insurance covers and he's giving non detailed answers and kept asking if I wanted to finalize and purchase. Almost like he didn't want to be there and trying to end the conversation. Major turn off. I was so happy when I walked away from his table. Nobody wants to deal with that negative space. One bad apple shouldn't ruin the overall bushel so I'm going to keep the 5 stars listed because everybody else was amazing and really made me enjoy my glasses hunting experience.

Many of the employees were assisting customers so I just took the liberty to start trying on different glasses in the mirror. After about 10 minutes or so I did find a free employee to ask about pricing and such. He was helpful, assisted me with other frame suggestions, and provided me with all the information I needed. Their prices are quite reasonable as well which I really did like.

Instead of taking a day to get new lenses placed into my existing frames it will now take 2 to 3 weeks. I struggle to understand how this benefits the customer. He has no business with his hands on products, even putting them on your face and he is a complete d###. Never have I ever been in a more unprofessional and unfriendly place. I was impressed with the way Dr. Cardwell made room in her schedule at the drop of a hat to see me when I had a vision disturbance, and was very thorough in following up with me - even calling me on the weekend to see how I was doing. In subsequent visits, the office has always been incredibly accommodating. Despite it's downtown Northville location, I've never had an issue with parking. My only wish would be that they had more seats in their busy office, as the waiting room is often filled and the seats are few. Having moved recently from Ann Arbor, I was looking for a new optometrist. I never felt rushed and I loved that Dr. Rahmani was personal with me and told me he would do the same surgery on his children. I saw two other doctors before deciding on Rahmani. At both of those places I was taken to a room to discuss financing and It made me feel as though I was just another person with a wallet. Those offices felt like businesses rather than doctors offices. Dr. Rahmani's office was very calm and gave me a feeling of comfort, which is definitely important before surgery. The procedure was flawless and took about 6 minutes (3 per eye). I was treated very well by not only the doctor, but also his staff. I felt relaxed going into the surgery and as soon as It was over, I went from not being able to see 3 feet in front of my face to seeing the clock on the other side of the room. Recovery was exactly what the staff prepared me for. Nothing was sugar coated like at the other two office I went to for consultations. Since my surgery I have gone back to the office twice for follow ups and have one more scheduled. I 10/10 recommend going to see Dr. Rahmani if you are considering Lasik.
