I never felt rushed and I loved that Dr. Rahmani was personal with me and told me he would do the same surgery on his children. I saw two other doctors before deciding on Rahmani. At both of those places I was taken to a room to discuss financing and It made me feel as though I was just another person with a wallet. Those offices felt like businesses rather than doctors offices. Dr. Rahmani's office was very calm and gave me a feeling of comfort, which is definitely important before surgery. The procedure was flawless and took about 6 minutes (3 per eye). I was treated very well by not only the doctor, but also his staff. I felt relaxed going into the surgery and as soon as It was over, I went from not being able to see 3 feet in front of my face to seeing the clock on the other side of the room. Recovery was exactly what the staff prepared me for. Nothing was sugar coated like at the other two office I went to for consultations. Since my surgery I have gone back to the office twice for follow ups and have one more scheduled. I 10/10 recommend going to see Dr. Rahmani if you are considering Lasik.

I made an appointment for an eye exam AFTER being cleared by the specialist Dr. Belamaric referred me to. The specialist even sent a letter updating her, which she read right in front of me at my appointment on Monday. But after my 90 second exam, she refused to provide me an updated prescription for my glasses and said my eye wasn't ready and to come back in a few weeks. I was charged for the exam, of course, because it's clear that money is what they're all about here - not actual patient care. They also said they'll have to charge me for another exam in a few weeks. I called the specialist to ask what I'm supposed to do since she wouldn't give me an updated prescription and even he was blown away. He said I need the updated prescription and there's no reason I should have been refused one. I called Southland Eye Clinic back Monday afternoon, because I'm stuck in the middle here. I spoke to Hannah, who answered the phone, and explained my situation and she said she would leave a message for Dr Belamaric to call me back. Here it is, five days later, no return call. I'm out the money I spent on the exam I didn't really receive and no new prescription. I even called back yesterday and left a message on their answering machine and still nothing. So now I have to go find another doctor and spend more money to get the eye exam I should have received at Southland Eye Clinic.

I apologized and said everyone has different rules these days, used the sanitizer and she checked my temp. Things tuned pleasant for a few minutes while she showed me where the Men's glasses were and a little small talk. A few minutes into my browsing my wife and I were in the back corner of the store when I tried on a pair and asked my wife for her opinion. I took my mask off one ear and pulled it aside not thinking anything of it as we were at least 20' from anyone. I hear Karen from across the store saying no, no, no, and jumps up form here desk across the store going on about my mask. I put the string of my mask back over my ear and just looked at her stunned. She says to me "We don't expect you to buy glasses with out seeing how they look with out a mask, you can take a couple pair in the bathroom and try them on". I put the glasses had been looking at down on the counter and left. I get it, every business can make their own rules and I'll respect that. But at least have a better plan the expecting customers to know the tiny table at the door with no attendant means to stop and wait for someone to come and take your temperature. And most of all don't expect your customers to have to try on eyeglasses in the bathroom. What a joke. I ended up buying glasses from SVS vision much better experience.
