Located in the sawgrass mills! I've been using Dr Bourjolly for years. He's highly qualified, compassionate, witty & absolutely the reason I keep going back each time! He has that small town charm where he remembers you time after time! He explains each step of the eye exam. If you have any questions he has tons of patience & is just so nice! I like how family oriented he is.... The waiting area is comfortable. The receptionist is sweet and gets you signed in quickly. I've purchased glasses a while back & that part of the store is super helpful as well. Just check with your personal insurance to see what's covered & your plan allowance. Even though we moved half an hour away and have closer Lenscrafters at our new home, we will ALWAYS keep coming back to this location because of the service. Sara is our go-to woman. She is so knowledgeable, patient, kind, and helpful. She goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our glasses, and also takes the extra time to make sure that we are utilizing all of our vision insurance benefits to our advantage. I will begin by saying this lensCrafters is beautiful! very Aesthetically pleasing. I just started using glasses and am starting to learn my style for my face... Ludlow was so patient and helpful with me the entire process. Never made me feel rushed or bad for trying on several glasses or searching different options to try to help me. Exam was good - thorough but the experience I consistently have in the actual purchase of my glasses has been less than standard - in-fact my glasses with UV film have delaminates the Last two times I have been - they fail in less than a year - I asked for a discount for the inconvenience - and they offered me $50. I always buy three sets of glasses and lenses ...all three delaminates twice...six sets of glasses wit the same issue - the glasses get cloudy and very hard to see. I felt like $50 was insulting - the exam and location are convenient but not worth the dissatisfaction and lack of customer service on the lens and glasses purchase - I won't be back. read more

This LensCrafters is NOT near brand smart anymore it is in Avenue 1 in the mall next to Marshalls and Neiman Marcus. The assistant at the office was a male employee that was courteous and welcoming. Dr Ralph is amazing hands down the best. We have been to another location and the doctor and the people there sucked. I feel like he listens well and makes jokes. He is real which is a nice change. He made my two boys feel comfortable so that me and my wife could finish our exams. Go here for the doctor. Can't really talk about the sales people from LensCrafters at this location cause I didn't need them here. For sure though take the warranty on the lens and frames for us it worked out for my boys. read more

I have been a customer of lens crafters for 4-5 years. The customer service has always been exemplary. Today, two of my pairs of glasses were a bit out of sync (minor damage) and Sara took the time to investigate and fix both pairs. Even though I no longer live nearby, I will continue to drive here to have the good folks look after me! read more

If you want to deal with complete incompetence and not receive an eye exam, go here, but be sure to make an appointment first. I made an appointment today, showed up on time with insurance (very good insurance at that) in hand. Another gentleman showed up at the same time, no appointment and no insurance. he was seen immediately. The receptionist sat there complaining that her computer was down and the number for my insurance company wasn't working so she couldn't get an authorization. Helpful hint, when you're on the automated phone prompts and they're asking you why you're calling, you don't mumble an entire paragraph of information. After wasting 20 minutes of my lunch hour trying to even get to a room with an eye chart I gave up and left. I even pulled up my benefits on my phone to show her so she knew that I had current coverage and how much everything on my plan cost. This way she could charge me appropriately while she attempted to get them on the phone for an authorization. Hell, I would have let her charge my card full price and then refund me the difference once she finally got a hold of my insurance company. Because of your incompetence you lost whatever a contact lens eye exam costs, a years worth of my ridiculously expensive contacts, a new pair of glasses, and a new pair of sunglasses. I will happily take my business back to Target where they get me in and out in 30 minutes with no hassles. read more

Seriously THE ABSOLUTE WORST LensCrafters in existence. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. The ladies that work the sales floor are lovely, but there is ALWAYS a freaking problem at this location!! I've been going to this location for years (I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment), because I love the optometrist there, but the LensCrafters portion of the business is an absolute joke. For the past 7+ years, I've been upsold on scratch resistant and anti-glare coatings, only to have 1 lens or the other bubble after a few months, and when I bring the lenses back it's always a fiasco to get them replaced. "What are you cleaning them with" is the question I always get, and my response is always the same, "the solution and cleaner wipes that you sell in the store." It's gotten to the point that bring in my receipt of the half dozen times I go in there to purchase these things when bringing in the glasses with the defective lenses ... and it's never both lenses, it's always one or the other (often times the same lenses on the same side will go bad several times), if I was doing something wrong, you'd think that both lenses would bubble. Yesterday, it was time for my annual eye exam, and of course I have to get new glasses. This time I opt for no frills lenses, I was told they were in stock, and my glasses would be ready by 3 pm the following day. Day goes by, no call, so I call the store at 4:30, and OF COURSE my glasses aren't ready, because the lenses aren't in stock (even after I was told they were when I was there just yesterday), but they have them in the Aventura store, and apparently it's going to take 7 days for the lenses to travel from the LensCrafters from Aventura to the one in Sawgrass. This is after I SPECIFICALLY told them that I had to have at least 1 pair of my glasses for work on Monday. If they would have told me that the lenses were only available in Aventura, I would have gladly taken the glasses there myself. Of course apologies were extended, blah, blah, blah. The lady that helped me even offered to go to Aventura to pick up the lenses ... why wasn't that thought of BEFORE I called in 1.5 hours AFTER my glasses were supposed to have been ready, only to be told they weren't going to be ready for another 7 days? And exactly why would it take 7 days to travel 22.6 miles (I checked) from one store to another? Hey, here's a thought ... contact an UBER or a LYFT and have the lenses brought to the Sawgrass store! AT THE VERY LEAST, once you figure out you've made a mistake about the lenses not being in stock (we're all human, I get it), CALL ME, so i can at least pick up 1 pair of glasses and go to work in the morning, and then switch them out. I guess, common sense is just beyond these folks!!! So here I am Sunday, at 4:30, no glasses, and I have to report to work at 8 am in the morning tomorrow, half blind. After receiving my glasses, I'm never stepping foot in this store again, other than to have my eyes examined by the doctors there. I'll go get my glasses some place else, where the people are actually competent, even if I have to pay twice as much and travel 3 times the distance. ****************************************************************** EDIT/UPDATE ... low and behold, after all the crap from this afternoon, ( I was told they actually found a pair of lenses with my prescription in stock ) ... so on top of everything else, they don't even know what their stock is. MADONEE !!! Once again, apologies were extended, and while Marta ( the young lady that helped me), told me this was all her fault, I calmly made it perfectly clear they've lost a customer permanently this time. It's absolutely ridiculous, that any customer should have this many continuous problems at any business. read more

The Dr. Bourjolly and the staff were truly amazing. They explained what to expect during the eye exam which made me feel comfortable. Also, Dr. Bourjolly is truly amazing!! He listens and makes jokes to make sure that the patient is at ease during the exam and trust me it definitely worked. I truly do recommend seeing Dr. Bourjolly and the rest of the staff at the LensCrafters. read more

I've never been to LensCrafters before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect from a "chain" optical store (I've always purchased my frames from those guys who have about 100 sq. ft. of floor space in the optometrist's office). This place was great. The sales staff spent a lot of time helping me find the right frames. I had some real specific specifications for my new frames, and they must have had me try on about 40 or 50 pairs. The only thing that disappointed me was that the frames I picked weren't covered under a 30% off sale the franchise was running. However, the store manager, Kevin Cohen, gave me the discount anyway. I didn't even really have to ask him, he just did it. That's good customer service. About three weeks after I got my new glasses, one of the arms appeared to be a little loose. It wasn't the screw, rather it ended up being the spring on the inside. I took it back and they fixed it without an issue. However, the employee who performed the adjustment told me that these particular frames are known to have this design issue and warned me that it will probably happen again. He offered me a new frame if I wanted it, but he demonstrated the same problem with the new pair, so I declined. Because LensCrafters provides a lifetime adjustment warranty, he said to bring them back whenever I want. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience, but I'm knocking off a star because I would have appreciated the sales staff from my first visit warning me about the "design" issue in the frames I purchased. For $200, I thought I would get something a bit more solid, but Made in China is still Made in China. read more

Worst customer experience. I have been a LensCrafters customer for 4 years. Today (12/7/2019) was worst ever experience. Me and my wife got eye checkup and were ready with our frames in less than 15 mins. An associate started to help and It took 1+ hour her to do the rest for my wife. She took another hour for me. After spending 2+ hour, She asked me restart again as she lost all the details. I believe she was a trainee and definitely a huge failure from store manager or mentor as they left her alone to deal with customer. I could see 2 senior folks just roaming with us only in the store and they just didnt want to help. I am just done with them asked to cancel the order and came out. None of them in the store was apologetic for waiting our time for nothing. NEVER going back now. read more

Not very happy about this location. I made an appt which was the first appt of their day. Lady was nice, but they don't take my insurance. I wish they would have said that on their website before I made the appt and drove there so that I wasn't disappointed. I left with no eye exam, no glasses, and unhappy. read more

I decided to give Lens Crafter a try instead of going to my optometrist. They gave me a very thorough exam and accepted my insurance. I found the frames that I wanted and sat down to choose my lens. My current glasses have Verilux lens and I wanted the same again. The technician agreed and said that Verilux was the best, however when she told me that the cost was $580 for just the lens I about had a stroke! I told her that this was a rip off. I bought the frames and left. I got the same "Verilux" lens the following day at my optometrist for $190. Beware of Lens Crafter.....they are a bunch of thieves. read more

They lenses are overpriced. They offer you a great frame for low price and super expensive lenses to go with it. Also, they don't give you the official result of their eye examination so you can't go and but reasonably priced glasses somewhere else. Walmart has similar services for much less. They are overpriced. read more

I went to this Lens Crafters for their computer generated prescription. The manual type of testing your eyes with the different lenses flipping back and forth never impressed me. Their exam and optometrist was highly professional and I will go there again in the future. I took the prescription they gave me to a discount eyewear shop and I was amazed with the sharpness of vision I have with my new glasses. read more

The LensCrafters in the sawgrass mall was very nice, until I called weekly for the last 3 weeks. The contact lenses that I ordered and paid for , I am told were undeliverable.... they don't have them, they don't know where they are, and offer no assistance in helping to solve the issue ... so, basically, I'm out $192.???? The very rude employee hung up on me while I was explaining my situation. Also left me on hold for 22 minutes.. I will not use them again. read more

Great, attentive service. I see Lenscrafters as a more poshy, upscale eyeglass chain. More expensive than others, but the quality of the products they sell are impeccable. This particular location has some great staff. Unfortunately, it's located next to a depressing JCPenney's outlet and some "carousel" in Sawgrass Mills Mall, so it can get lost in the mix and can be hard to find. read more
