The doctors at Eye Catchers Optical in Columbiana and Boardman Ohio worked very diligently with me through multiple visits toFINE TUNE my vision to the BEST that it has EVER BEEN!! Eys Catchers Optical is a FAMILY-OWNED practice that had showed me a level of dedication, professionalism and attention to detail that I have NEVER SEEN BEFORE with any other medical professional. They spent as much time (and ran whatever tests) that they felt were necessary to get me to the MOST PERFECT VISION that I ever had. They are, by far, the BEST eyecare professionals that I have ever come across. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I ordered a pair of prescription glasses and a pair of sunglasses. The glasses are great, but I cannot see with the sunglasses. I paid over $200 for them, have been back twice and nothing is fixed, so I can't wear. Wasted money for sure. Because I need prescription sunglasses, I called a month after my visit, when I realized they weren't going to make things right, to get my prescription to order a pair on-line. They sent my prescription, but not the PD. When I called for my PD, I was told it would be $25 for the PD. LOL...LOL...LOL. Fast forward to today, I was going to give them another chance since I loved the doctor and just get my glasses elsewhere. Well...they cancelled my appointment and instead of calling me, sent me 2 texts, that I didn't receive. How about pick up the phone? I have asked to speak with the doctor or have the doctor call me back 4 times and nothing. This office does not care about patients. This office is going to break this doctor.

The reception told me that I will take care of her first. After waiting for 45 - 50 minutes, I was hustled into a room, while hearing that they were "very busy". Waited another few minutes, again. Finally, Dr. Lindsey came in. I showed her a patch on my chest. After a quick two second look, she explained that skin cancer has brown patches, handed me a pamphlet, and the "visit" was done. She didn't even bother to check my back. The pamphlet contained photos of brown examples of skin cancer. My father had skin cancer that was a white, scaly patch on his chest. Not all skin cancer is brown. I have been a patient of the ophthalmology portion of this practice for a couple of decades, and love my ophthalmologist. However, I would never recommend the dermatology department. What a dismissive and cursory experience. Further, the schedulers really need to be trained. Always, you are sitting in the waiting room for 30 - 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.
