My husband and I stopped by for an eye exam and glasses today. They worked him into the schedule without too terrible of a wait. The lady that helped him with his glasses selection nailed it. She went straight to the pair we ended up purchasing. It was a great fit and looked good on him. We appreciated her knowledge of fit. Her comments were professional and definitely demonstrated knowledge of the products and proper fit. We trusted her judgement. It was a good experience. The store was clean but signs of wear in the store were evident. It could definitely benefit from some paint and updating carpets, etc. there's not a restroom in the store for customers. I used Visionworks for years without an issue, but wanted to give Lens Crafters another chance as I haven't used them for years. Sadly to say my experience has been disappointing. I am legally blind in one eye and had not adjusted to the glasses that Len Crafters made for me. I took them back and they tried adjusting the frame and eventually convinced me to get transitional lenses for an additional $250 in addition to the $200 I had already paid. When the new glasses came in I wore them for 45 days, but took them back again because the Lens still appeared to be distorted. The person who worked with me confirmed that the reason I could see better out of the Vision Works glasses is because of how they they had my bifocals positioned. I asked them if they could position my lens as Vision Works? They said that they could, but it would be a fee because the 30 day warranty had expired regardless of the fact that I had been in twice to get the issue corrected before the warranty expired. I spoke to the manager and she said she would have to call her Regional Mgr and would call me back in 2 days! They contacted me 7 days later to advise me that they would correct the issue for an additional $200. read more

Still have not file our claim as of 32 days from the day of service. Found out they filed the wrong form for the claim and they assured me they would file the correct one. Said will call the insurance company to be sure they do. As of November 26th no claim has been received. Just actually got through to the doctors office and they said they did do the correct claim seven days ago. So will wait for another two weeks to verify with insurance company. read more

I bought two pair of glasses there. There was a mistake on my part that they quickly and professionally took care of. Zero complaint there. I just called them up and asked for my IPD (interpupillary distance, the distance between your eyes). If this is not correct, you'll get headaches and not be able to see well. I needed it so I could get a cheap emergency pair that didn't require designer frames or other fancy upgrades. They cited "policy" that they couldn't give it to me, even though under HIPPA I have a right to have a copy of all medical records from a provider, which includes LensCrafters. IPD is a pretty static number throughout your life once you enter adulthood. It's an industry standard on how to measure and record. 10 different providers measuring you for IPD won't be off from each other by more than a millimeter, if at all. Because of their "policy" on this, I invoked their "30 day unconditional satisfaction guarantee" policy, got a full refund and will be taking my business elsewhere. Never do business with a medical provider who won't provide you their records on you. read more

I want new glasses and would love to go here again because of their awesome frames but had such a terrible experience a year ago with their plastic lenses (which I had replaced by a "real" optometrist), plus the frames have stretched despite multiple adjustments. Here's a story: Colleen gets new glasses in December and loves them! Then she gets a puppy. The puppy also loves glasses too, in a different way. Since February, I've gone through THREE pairs of glasses thanks to my little guy. Thankfully, I opted for the Eyewear protection plan, where for 1 year, they will replace your damaged glasses, no questions asked. Of course, I did feel a twinge of embarrassment that last time. I've now got a good pair of Oakley glasses that seem a bit sturdier than my previous (favorite) frames. I take one star away because they always seem understaffed. The last time I exchanged my glasses, I waited for a hour before an optician was available. When I went back to pick them up, it took another 40 minutes. Also, if you're on a budget, there are decent frames available. Don't let the cases of Burberry, Tiffany, and Raybans steer you away. The staff will help you based on your budget... when they aren't swamped with other guests. read more

I have the unfortunate pleasure of being blind as a bat. So, finding a pair of good-lookin' specs is a must. I like a good selection of modern frames, not a bunch of outdated Sally Jesse Raphael throwback frames that weigh down my face. This location is very clean, the selection is great, and the staff is professional and helpful. I ordered a pair of sharp Prada frames with a prescription from an out-of-state opthamologist with no problems. My insurance was worked out and a week later, I walked out with great frames. Not your best option. They have more than one price. So if you don't ask for a better price you won't get one. If you call don't change your plans for a call back. If they say 10 days expect 15. If they say 20 mins expect 40 mins. So i guess what I'm saying is as long as you don't expect honesty you should be good here. read more

The clerks at Dr. Angela Milan O.D' s used my Eyemed Insurance in 2021 and charged me $35 as a copay. In 2022 she give me the very same exam did not use my Eyemed Insurance and charged me $150. When I asked the clerk why the price was so different she said the doctor gave me a medical exam and not an eye exam because I have Type 2 diabeties. I was told I could pay them $200 right then as my Medicare deductible or pay $150 out of my pocket right then and forget about the deductible. These charges did not pass the smell test and I am notifying the DA and Humana Insurance Co. of what I consider fraud. read more

My first purchase of glasses has resulted in 3 return visits for repair of the glasses. I chose rimless glasses. They have come apart where the lense attached to the nose piece 3 times. I bought in in June. This is November. It's a 30 minute drive, which is not convenient for me. I did not buy the warranty feature. They're Ray ban Glasses & RayBan offers a one year warranty. All Lenscrafters will do is repair them. I want my money back. They say is the style . I say they shouldn't sell a style that is not durable enough to withstand normal wear. I won't buy anything else from Lenscrafters. I've been screwed! read more

I went in time and time again and they never got my contact prescription right. I tried getting the lenses right for 3-months w/o luck. I ordered them out of frustration and went to Sam's Club to get lenses that I could use. That doctor got me something I could see out of in one appointment. The phones didn't work, my samples got lost, I wasn't contacted when samples came in, some bulbs were burned out in the examining room etc. The people at the front desk were very nice, however, but the doctors didn't know how to fit contact lenses. i went there since I had vision insurance but they jack prices up so much that one is better off simply paying out of pocket. read more

One of the doctors is okay, the other is pretty good. They know what they are doing and they have some of the latest technology for finding your prescription which is nice. The staff is also mildly friendly depending on the day. On the sales side with the frames, etc. They do not seem to care and have a tendency to up sell you on options for your lenses without you really knowing it. The associate I had tried to fast talk her way though the process and up sell me on all kinds of options I did not want. I had to stop things and roll it back to make sure I didn't pay for things I did not want. This was after she offered little to no help in picking out frames form their not so great selection. Front desk staff treat you like you're not very smart and poor-they were questioning me when I said I didn't have insurance and was going to pay out of pocket. The variety of of frames are pretty good. But I wear custom contacts. The Optometry Group that you see is disappointing. I've been with this group for over 10 years. Somehow when it changed owners its professionalism was put on the back burner. I did a review on another site and the office manager called to scold me. Why?Because I gave a negative review and it hurt his feelings. How am I supposed to feel when I arrive and he's not there and I have to reschedule ? It's been countless times that I've gotten there and I've missed him by 15min. I know things happen. But it was very repetitive with this office. The staff is Pleasant, I'll give them that. I booked a 12:30 appointment on a Thursday afternoon. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment, waited an hour and was still not seen. By 1:30 pm I decided to reschedule so I can return to work. It's very unfortunate that they over-booked. I am frustrated that I now have to wait 2 weeks for a Saturday appointment because they take so long to get you in to see an optician that I don't want to even try another week day. When I went to the desk to reschedule the agent stated that he would keep my information in the system so that it would not take so long to get me in to see the doctor when I returned. If processing a new patient takes an hour that should be stated at the time the original appointment is made. Had I known it would take them that long I would have shown up earlier or scheduled the appointment for another time to meet these expectations. Very disappointed. read more

DO NOT go to the optometrist associated with this location!!!!!!! Terribly long wait on both appointments and waiting to get contacts. Then TWO MONTHS later I ask again where my contacts are (that I had already paid for) and she says they aren't in yet- I vent my frustrations then she looks again and magically "found them in the back & had only looked up front." People don't get contacts as an accessory, they need them to see. I went here when I had only one pair left, thinking surely I would receive new contacts within a month at least. They need fewer patients and need to get more organized. Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor/ eye doctor.... Lenscrafters should not be partnered with this doctor's office. read more

I've been a frequent customer of LensCrafters but, unfortunately, this has been my worst experience ever and I do not plan on coming back. I purchased a pair of glasses for my son and was told that it would be a 5 to 7 day turnaround time which was reasonable. Well, it has been three weeks and still no glasses!! I call to check on them and the excuses are: lost tracking, wrong delivery, a remake because of the wrong lens prescription, and now lost tracking, again. If I could give them a negative 1000 I would give them that. I went in for an exam on October of 2020 and purchased 2 pair of glasses. One of them was incorrect so had to be reordered. The manager blamed me for the mistake like I typed the information in his computer. Then he ordered the wrong pair a second time and due to the rude demeanor and poor customer service I asked that they be returned...this was almost 2 months later because it took them that long to get them to me. He flat out told me no and ordered them again. I contacted their corporate office which is also a joke and he told them the claim had been resolved although I was without a pair of glasses that I had paid for and I hadn't received my money back either. Flash forward I get an argumentative call today...many many months later that I still need to pick up these glasses that I told him not to reorder in the first place and filed a legitimate refund request for from their corporate office which he denied and is still denying after all this time when I requested this during the appropriate timeframe. What the entire fuck?! Never again. I've never in my life had such a poor customer service experience and never had someone argue with me and disrespect me in such a way about a purchase they repeatedly got wrong! Save yourself time and energy and just make your own fucking glasses with coke bottles because that would take way less energy and be way more pleasant than dealing with anyone at this location. read more

I had a great experience with this staff! They really helped me. I love that I wasn't waiting very long to get my exam. This was actually my first time going to get my eyes checked. The staff were very knowledgeable about what my insurance covered and took time to help me select frames. I think they have a good selection of glasses with several cost options. I did not feel rushed at all and it took me 1.5 hrs to select my frames. Overall great customer service. Also if your frames are in stock they may have yours ready SAME DAY! I was lucky and had them within an hour and the employee made sure they fit me well. I will go back! read more

It started well. Sometimes, things occur which are not only vexing, but cause great difficulty. I completed an order and didn't have any issues until it was time to complete the purchase with my credit card. Phone calls were made to fix the issue without success. I agreed to return the following day to see if the issue was resolved. Needless to say, it was not. I waited and waited while routers and credit card machines were restored to operative conditions. Days later my card has been charged but my eyeglass order is still incomplete. I call to get an update. I am told we process those credit cards all day, every day and it is just my brand new-never used before card causing this issue. And I have to wait days for this pending charge to erase itself. I ask about other locations, but only two are mentioned. To the point, my card was processed and is currently showing a pending charge for the incomplete purchase. Though LensCrafters is saying the charge has not been authorized and my purchase is still incomplete. They can't void the purchase because it doesn't exist in some book they have. There are just times when we have had poor service from a company and need to express our concerns. Is there anyone at LensCrafters that can work with synchrony bank to get this issue resolved in a timely manner? Void this Phantom purchase and restore my balance so I can go elsewhere. read more

They have the worst customer service. When I bought my glasses they added all these extra features without even consulting me about it. And when I saw how high the price was, I asked about it and this is when she started taking these extra feature off.
