Last year I received a new prescription and wanted several new glasses and sunglasses. I spent over $2000 dollars and had a good experience with the associates. Recently wanted two more pairs and worked with a young intern. The sunglasses I wanted were not available except off the shelf. He assured me they were in fine shape and I didn't want to wait for an order so I accepted. Later that night I was informed they were in fact not workable. Fine, I guess I had to wait. That's where the fun began. I called several days later and a male associate took my call inquiring about the glasses. His tone was rather indignant that I was asking before ten days had expired. I had just assumed since this order wasn't want I expected that they might come earlier but no. After 11 days i called again and spoke to Rosemarie who said she was the manager. I explained what had happened and she offered the same glasses in another color; I rejected that and asked why she simply didn't call another store. She indicated they couldn't do that unless there was a delay. I was silent. She then said she would check other stores and give me a call in a few minutes. After four hours I called back and she said she was waiting for a call back and would call me back in 30 minutes. After a few hours and near closing, she called and left a message that they would be arriving in the morning. I called again at 1:06 the next day. Rosemarie said I would receive a text in ten minutes telling me to come in and get the glasses. I left to run some errands, not text. I drove to the store at 1:45, announced my name and when Rosemarie heard me she said I have them, took the glasses to the tech department and in about 15 minutes another associate greeted me with the glasses. Rosemarie remained conveniently out of sight. Stuff happens; I get that. And some may say, "hey you're dealing with a budget mall optician, what do you expect?" I guess in todays economy when you are spending huge amounts on goods and services, i expect courtesy and professionalism. Again, the associates at the store have been largely very competent,. One of the most horrifying shopping experiences. I order a pair of their name brand "Rayban" glasses & sun glasses. The price was a little high but I wanted ray-bans. The big advertising is Ray Ban transitions. They said about a week. About a week later I get a call my glasses are in. I run over anxiously only the sun glasses arrived. No one knew status of my glasses. After 2 weeks of calling with no resolution they finally arrive, both pair. I run anxiously over to pick them up, They are not transitions?? My eye glasses are not transitions!!! I give up an want a refund, I have to wait another 2 weeks for a Corp.refund??? What a massive lack of customer service/ caring. No one in the Quaker Bridge Mall store really cared about me or my issue. read more

I went in for glasses and received great service. I decided, after a day, that the glasses I chose we're not comfortable. I then chose another pair and came in a week later to pick them up. The fit was off and they did not feel secure. I was told that there was only one exchange allowed. This is ridiculous because of the amount of money being spent and the amount of time using glasses. I ended just sticking with my original pair. I will be getting my receipt and returning these for a refund. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Very disorganized.. I came for an appointment (on time) and waited 45 minutes without being seen by an eye doctor. They clearly book more appointments then they can actually handle. After waiting 45 minutes unfortunately I had to leave after being told it would take another 30. I will not be returning but please do better for your customers. read more

Got a pair of prescription glasses but they developed hairline cracks at the rim. It was just over an year. The lens quality or workmanship to blame. "Quick" service / 1 hour delivery may not always turn out to be the best. read more

I've been buying glasses from this lens crafters for at least 15 years. Part of their service is cleaning and adjustments for life. The lady helping me was disinterested in helping me, but begrudgingly looked at my glasses. She then wiped them with a cloth and gave them back to me. I explained I was there because I have half-rimless glasses and gunk had gotten between the lenses and the frames. She tried talking me out of having them clean my glasses, but again gave in and "Had them cleaned." I got them back almost as bad as I gave them to her. I offered to pay for the cleaning, but she admitted it's free. With service and attitude like this, I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Appalling follow up. I have been waiting for almost a month for special order sunglasses. Store had multiple contact numbers to call or email me when the glasses were ready. No call, or email and a non functioning phone system when I tried to call to inquire on status. If I didn't need the glasses I would cancel the order. Apauled at the level of service I received here. Called before scheduling an appointment to ensure my method of payment (CareCredit) would be accepted. I have insurance but utilize this form of payment for personal reasons. I was told it was accepted. Upon my arrival for my appointment I asked AGAIN if this form of payment was accepted. I was told it was accepted. Completed the exam. Took much longer than usual. Have had contacts since I was 8 and glasses since I was 18 months old. This is a process I am familiar with. The optometrist then gave me a sample pair of contacts. Could not see anything. I asked if they were specific for my astigmatism. He was not aware I had bilateral astigmatisms. Frustrated at this point. Finally finish the exam and head towards the desk to pay. I hand over my CareCredit card. When she attempts to run the card she states it is asking for a promo code and whether or not I know what that means. So I google some instructions and it appears that the staff is not trained on how to run the card machine. Ultimately I'm told I can't have my prescription until I pay with another form of payment. I'm unwilling to do so, as I asked twice for a reason. Employee becomes very frustrated that it's only $49 that I'm not willing to cough up cash for. IT IS THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER. Will not be returning to purchase glasses or contacts. Rather, will take my business elsewhere. read more

This time I had to come back 4 times. They forgot to examine the lenses. They didn't have time to make them. Never again. read more

Worst experience ever! Very unorganized and unprofessional! I bought a pair of very expensive glasses from this location. After I received them and tried them on, I found them very uncomfortable. I brought them back into the store and asked for adjustments but they could never get it right. After the warranty expired in a month, I was left with a completely useless pair of eyeglasses that I spent close to a thousand dollars on! Additionally, they don't seem to keep some of their patients' prescriptions on file. My son had his eye exam and bought a pair of glasses here a few months ago and was never given a copy of his prescription. When I requested a copy recently for his checkup purposes, they simply told us they could not find his! What a nightmare! read more

I went to Lens Crafters in Quakerbridge mall to get my son his glasses. When I was there the lady Leslie seemed very nice, and when I was leaving told me the glasses would be in, in a week. I call tonight to check on them, and I was told my glasses wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks! I spoke with Jonathan, he was very nice and informed me that Leslie order a TOTALLY DIFFERENT LENS then I asked for and MORE EXPENSIVE! I'm sure she makes a commission on them, but that is no excuse to RIP OFF A CUSTOMER! I asked to speak with a manager to tell them my concerns, and how I will NEVER purchase glasses again from this company and I was told a manager wouldn't be in till Saturday. Terrible. Went to get them and they were wrong frames and lenses. Was told I had to wait 2 days to talk to manager to find out what happened. Staff apathetic and useless. Don't go here. I walked in here with a prescription in hand and no idea what I was looking for. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and immediately took me over to the frame selection that was best suited for me. They had a fantastic selection (much better than some of the other places I had looked) and when I couldn't make up my mind, I asked several employees for their honest opinions which ultimately helped me make my decision. The prices were awesome and I ended up with a pair of frames I couldn't have been happier with! Definitely recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a great selection and helpful employees!! read more

Dr. Han is wonderful. Now she needs to hire front desk staff that don't make me feel like I'm a pain in the ass. Every time I'm in there, someone behind the desk is complaining about some aspect of the job. Quote: "I can't believe I have to come back in here tomorrow." As part of my appointment, I asked a staff member to process an insurance related refund. After a heavy sigh, she told me that I could do it myself and wrote the website address on a sticky note. I told her it would go so much faster if she would do it since she knows the ins-and-outs, and she did it in five minutes, but man, was she pissed. Today I called with a quick question, and a woman named Tia asked me if I could call back three hours later when she wasn't so busy. Are you serious? I spoke to Dr. Han about this issue but she still has the same woman making customers feel like she wishes they'd all just go home so she can put her feet up and drink her coffee in peace. read more
