The manager Sophie was rude, condescending and not helpful. I have been waiting on my contacts for almost 2 weeks. I was told I would have samples while I was waiting for my purchased contacts and she would not give them to me. When asked when my contacts would arrive she said she didn't know and suggested that I call a toll free number and they told me to call her back. Useless people that don't want to help!! I continue to be impressed with this particular store. The staff is super helpful and make sure you get Exactly what you need. I had a noteworthy set of interactions with Kimberly. when my prescription wasn't perfect, she got me in for another eye appointment and then bent over backwards researching the type of lenses I had from my last set of glasses at another business, to match what Lense Crafters offers and get me the best results. She is like a super sleuth/problem solver. So impressive. Her manager also bent over backwards clearing the way to Kimberly to help me. I highly recommend this location and its staff. They are people I now have to pop in to say hi to. So enjoyable and capable in making sure you get satisfaction. I'm so appreciative. read more

Do not go here because they will LIE to you. It's been OVER 3 weeks since my in-store purchase and I still have not received my contact lenses. They refused to assist me on a loss package and do their due diligence with sending me a replacement. During this timeframe, I've been extremely understanding and patient. However, when I called to check with them my order status, the girl named Paolo/assistant store manager flat out lied to me TWICE saying that she sees on the tracking # that it'll be at my house by 7 PM at the end of the day each time I spoke with her. To her surprise, I already asked for the tracking number a few days ago when I called to inform them that I haven't received my package so I got the tracking number so I can track it myself. Also, my partner works for USPS and you'll always see the same thing with the same tracking number, but Paolo claims she saw something different on her end even though I said we have the same tracking information. They have put me on hold EVERY single time I've called. They told me twice during those calls that they'd call me back in an hour and NEVER DID. The LAST time that I called which was today on 2/24, Saturday, Salena put me on hold twice, and told me she'd give me a call back because she said she needed to research to get more information. I'm pretty sure I spoke to her before just for her to not call me back. I asked her what other information does she need that can't be provided or looked up right away because at this point it's been OVER 3 weeks, and I've received no help since they've been ONLY putting me on hold. All the information they needed was there. I explained the situation and asked for the assistant store manager/Paolo because Paolo claimed on 2/22/2024 that she'll just expedite me a new order and yet has NOT. During the end of this call, Salena said Paolo did put an new order in and Salena attempts to give me a "new tracking number" for the new order that Paolo said she would expedite. TURNS OUT, it was the SAME tracking number of an order that never arrived. She attempts to LIE and say that my order will arrive by the end of TODAY. It's been a long process with no assistance or clarity. They have not helped me at all. I do not feel comfortable having them assist me anymore on this purchase as I typically go to a different location and as they've LIED. I was better off continuing to order my lenses online or even 1-800 contact lenses. I hope this store learns to practice HONESTY & INTEGRITY. read more

This is for the Lens Crafters in Bayshore mall. I went there in spring for problems with dry eyes and after a lame exam and a couple of questions the optometrist (older gentleman) basically said I can't help you. I let it go- didn't have it in me to fight this battle. Just thanks man. Big help. Then my son (who already had the exam and paid for contacts) needed to take a class for the contacts. He's 17 and trying to be responsible- he made the appt himself and drove himself there. He was given contacts. Watched a 10 minute video. And sat there for TWO hours trying to put them in. He was so mad and frustrated and upset, but determined. No one stopped once to check on him and offer any advice- He finally asked the older gentleman- (there's only one there, we don't need to pretend who it) just ignored him. Looked at my son. Then looked back at his paperwork. My kid at that point just left. He's painfully shy and trying so hard to be grown, and then this guy. I'm livid. And I know me leaving this review will mean nothing and do nothing and my calling probably won't either. This place needs to do the world a favor and close. I thought going to a Lens Crafters outside of the city would be better? Wrong at every angle. Greenfield and Mayfair were wonderful. Lesson learned. But tbh I will likely never go to lens crafters again because of this. All I can do is teach my son to be better. Be polite. Be kind. This is unacceptable. read more

One of the best services ever! Jason, Josh, Alison and Sophie (I am only naming these employees as I haven't worked with the rest) are extremely easy and accommodating to work with. I am someone for whom it's extremely difficult to get the right frame and I've had to exchange a couple of frames in the past, but Lenscrafters have always been patient with me and have made sure that I get the best possible frames. read more

There are two LensCrafters locations in the Bayshore Town Center, about a two-minute walk from each other. I visited the store on Centerpark Way (across the street from California Pizza Kitchen). I made my appointment in advance online (www.lenscrafters.com). They have convenient appointment times during the day and I was able to book an appointment for the very next day. A technician handles the initial portion of the exam, checking basic screenings, current eyeglass prescription, etc. An optometrist then handles the bulk of the exam. In my case, Dr. Jeff Jensen did my exam. He was thorough, friendly and very professional -- I felt at ease throughout the entire process. Following my exam, one of the LensCrafters salespeople put together an initial selection of frames to consider, based on my prescription requirements and current frame design. This was a nice touch I haven't experienced at other eyeglass stores, and is definitely a better place to start that simply being directed toward a wall of frames and asked to choose a pair. LensCrafters always seems to have at least one promotion underway (i.e., 50% off on frames; or buy one pair, get a second at a discount) so it pays to check ahead. My visit ended up being a very positive experience and I will use this particular LensCrafters store again the next time I need new glasses. read more

I do not recommend this store as the customer service is pathetic. I ordered some glasses with bifocals. However, the bifocal lens was inserted at an angle and was pretty much useless. I returned the glasses and a new pair was ordered. I received a call telling me that the glasses were in. However, when I went to pick up the glasses I was told they couldn't be found. Now I have to come back another time to get glasses if another pair actually exists. This is RIDICULOUS. I should be compensated for wasting my time by going there. If it was possible I would give zero stars. read more
