Went in, asked to adjust my glasses, and they did it for free and took less than 10 mins

The staff was very racist to me and my mom. They did not greet us when we walked in even tho the store was empt. Yet, the next family that walked in was greeted and asked if they needed help (they were white). We were closely following around the Ray ban section but wasn't offered help just started at and followed. It just felt very off putting. I would not recommend this store. I've used LensCrafters over the years and many times. Their doctors are good and they have great frame and lens options. Still, it's always seemed to me that their fulfillment is fairly slow. I've always looked the other way here because of their stores and doctors but this time....I've been waiting since 11/20 (almost 22 days) for my order to arrive. What is worse in my mind is that I had to call them to even realize there was a delay. There should be some notification to customers on the status of their glasses and especially when there are delays. What was also frustrating is that I had to suggest a potential resolution - shouldn't it be the other way around? I normally don't leave reviews much less negative ones but when you pay a fairly substantial amount for a pair of glasses and you fulfill your obligation of the transaction up front - shouldn't their be some urgency? I should say that the Assistance Store Manager has been responsive. read more

Tuan - team leader - did a fantastic job of fixing my computer glasses after the lens fell out. This is my go to place for great friendly customer service. When I was waiting a lady dropped her glasses off and ask if they had water. The individual helping went a got her a bottle of water. How Nice! read more

We had a great experience with the Assistant Manager Marisa. She quickly ordered 2 pairs of glasses for my son and myself. She took the time to explain everything to us and even found us coupons to help us get the best price. I left my wallet at home and was able to call in my payment. Had the worst eyeglass shopping experience in my life today at this location. The ladies that help you are rude and make you feel inferior for buying lower-cost brands instead of high dollar. Then on top of that they keep trying to upsell you stuff that they know your insurance doesn't cover. Felt more like being at a car dealership then eyeglass center. read more

If I could put no stars minus 10 I would! I got a pair of frames at a reasonable price little over $200 then the nightmare (the lenses) ok so i had been going to an other place which I should of stayed at bc for same price you get way better quality( @todays vision on fuqua)! These glasses at lense crafters fogged up really quick, my glasses from today's vision never did! These don't have protection from lightning of computer and tv (electronics) lk todays vision does, these glasses are a piece of trash! And don't let them lie and tell u if ur not happy u have 30 days to do something about it, bs! I called to complain about them and she is just lk uh hum uh hum and that is it! Save your money and your time! Totally a waste lense crafters is! Only thing was good was price I paid for frames which they no longer carry or make anymore! Also today's vision gives free 1 year insurance for glasses and frames, but lense crafters u have to purchase it! They also sold me a garbage cleaning cloth that they spay this clearner on your lense and clean with the cloth lk paper towels which leave resi on the lenses. 8/18/18 ok I am back updating my review for lense crafters because I wanted people to know, so as I went on in my first review of how I didn't lk the lense work at lense crafters and called in on the good faith they would honor the unsatisfactory money back 30 day agreement or fix what I didn't lk (which was not fixable) and the lady on the phone gave me the run around and didn't even try to make things right, so i got off the phone with her and called the 1-800 number on the envelope and spoke with a representative whom told me i was within the 30 days so i had full right to fully return and get my money back (glasses have to be in same conditions as you purchased them of course, not a problem) so I went in a got my money back! Now they did try there hardest to convince me to keep them, modify them, but the point that they just wasn't listening to bc that's the problem they see you a payment and not a person, ( that the quality of the product was not to my likings nor did it meet my expectations). They don't offer what my regular optometrist offers, and claim there is no anti fog when clearly there is but combine with the anti glare. All in all I got my money back and now I went back to my regular optometrist which I should of never let traffic deter me from going to in the first place. Optometrist was nice and helpful however front employees, mgr, were rude and inconsistent. I was told eye exam would be 65.00 when I asked for eye exam for dry eyes and allergies. Eye exam completed and Rx was written for irritation to eyes. When I approached the front to pay, exam fee suddenly changed to $115.00 for medical exam however optometrist referred me to ophthalmologist for further eye exam. Mgr up front advised me of new fee for visit, I refused to pay that amount advising her that I was quoted a different price,$65.00. She said it was now considered a medical exam since a Rx was written. I disagreed and she said she was just going to take the prescription away since I didn't want to pay the new "medical" fee, even though the optometrist herself said I would need to go to an ophthalmologist for a "medical" eye exam for allergies, etc. What a quack business!!! She also refused to give me a copy of the eye exam. Pathetic! Never go here! Just go to a real doctor instead of a corporate chain and save yourself the trouble. read more

If you use this LensCrafters, check your statement very carefully. There was a charge for $34.98 that I questioned for "insurance". I was told by the salesperson that I was not actually charged for it, that the computer lists it as a "line item". That was not true; it was added. When I picked up my glasses I asked for it to be credited back to my card. I had to sign papers that I declined their "insurance". This was deceptive and a blatant lie, and I did not appreciate it. I like my sunglasses, but I will not be going back here. read more

I'm glad I didn't yelp this location before I went based on the yelp reviews I'm seeing. I ended up here on a friends referral. She even went with me. I was shopping for my first pair of glasses with prescription in hand. I loved their huge selection. I don't know if they have had their entire staff replaced since the reviews on here are awful, because my experience was polar opposite. My sales rep was friendly and down to earth. I wanted honest feed back when choosing frames and she did it with experience and tact. She guided me to the right fit for my face and wasn't led by price or brand. She helped sort out my insurance glitch with patience and was friendly to top it off. When I picked up my glasses, the girl who finished the fitting for me was also very nice. Huge smile and even cheerful. As I was leaving my original sales lady checked in on me one last time. I will definitely be back. read more

Over the weekend, my doctor told me not to wear my contacts because of the risk of infection. I haven't worn glasses in years and needed some immediately. I called other places that said they could have glasses ready in about an hour, but it was really 7-10 business days. I called before going in and they said in most cases they could have them ready today. I went in and spoke with Huynh, who was extremely helpful at finding a pair of glasses for me. Other Lenscrafters may be okay, but the Baybrook Mall store customer service stinks! I purchased prescription sunglasses last year. The frames fit perfectly until they put in my lenses which are moderately thick. Then the sides splayed out instead coming straight in. The glasses were way to big for my face and wouldn't stay on straight. I went back on five occasions to have them tightened up, which is horrible due to the mall traffic and having to go into the mall. Each time one of the teenage girls working there worked on the frames about half an hour, but they were no tighter. When I asked for an exchange I was offered a half price deal on new frames, which would cost around $200. The frames I had were half price, but no bargain at that as they never fit. Why would I want to throw good money after bad? I finally went to another optician and they told me they quit carrying Ralph Lauren frames due to that problem, and that they simply were not adjustable. I went back yet again yesterday to Lenscrafters, and the manager told me that they couldn't do anything about it as the original guarantee was only good for a year and I was two weeks past that. She never tried to help with the problem. The glasses were so spread out to be useless to me so I broke them in half, threw them on the floor, and told the customer service rep that I'd never shop there again. And I WONT. Rudest people ever and the young girls are dumber than dumb. Maybe that's why they hire them, since the customer service is so bad they think the customers won't get mad at these young girls. As a customer, I would take a gnarly old experienced saleslady, (with some sense in her head), over these younger girls any day. Obviously, Lenscrafters doesn't get that. That store won't survive. Many established stores have gone out of business in the last few years. DONT SHOP AT THIS STORE - YOY MAY BE SORRY! read more
