Sounds fun, doesn't it? Well it wasn't. What a scam! This dealership should be ashamed of themselves for pulling something like this.

My mom co signed for me and we used a vehicle in my husband'sname as a trade in. They never had him sign the title over as he wasn't going to be on the new auto loan. We didn't find out that they put the loan in my mom's name only until she received the first letter from the lender. We never received our copies of anything regarding the sale until my mom went back 2 months later. When I went to go refinance the vehicle, we found out that they had used my business income under my mom's name to get the loan done. I couldn't refinance the vehicle because of the fraud committed. Jimmy White tried to get us to settle the matter during the investigation before "it was too late". When we spoke with him in person he stated that the fraud, that has been verified by the lender, is my opinion of what happened and refuses to make it right. This is still on-going. Stay far away from this dealership!

The…read moreowner seems nice enough but they have one mechanic who seems to handle a lot of their business and he is the absolute worst. The last time I went there for something last year, I gave him a list of 3 things to check for me, one of which was my car making a grinding noise. He tried to tell me I never mentioned it. The owner went for a ride with me, heard the noise, and had a mechanic take care of it. Today, I had a brake light problem that I've never encountered before, so I reluctantly called them and got this mechanic on the phone. He did correctly diagnose the problem, but as I was talking to him, unsure if I was looking at a grommet that he was telling me about, he said I wasn't letting him talk and hung up on me! It is the absolute worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with in my entire life. There is another garage 20 minutes away who told me to bring my car in and they'd take care of it. The fix took 2 minutes and he didn't charge me at all. It may be farther away but I will NEVER go to Gil Automotive again. Their customer service is abysmal.

When I got there they asked a bunch of questions about my car and when they finally realized I wasn't going to buy a new car that day they would not talk to me. The man simply handed me a $5 gift card as he was walking away and he went and hid until I left.

Took my fusion in for recall, they said they had parts and told me to make an appointment. I took…read moremy car in and was told it was done. When I came into pick-up my car they told me they didn't have the parts and they would re-order them. I called this morning to find out when I could bring my car in and was told the parts were in and I would have to make another appt. but only the service manager could confirm appt. They called back to say that the gas tank came in last night but it was damaged. First I was told that 2 gas tanks had come in now it was one and it was bad. I called another Ford dealer only to find out they don't replace the gas tank unless the engine light comes on with a purge valve code. Mine is not on. Florence and White also said they had parts room employee change that caused the issue. Then they gave my phone number to one of their salespeople who called my house trying to sell me a new car. Chris Whitney in the service dept is a complete joke . Mr Florence called me to find out why I was so up-set and I told him they mis-lead me and then got pissy with me. Quality of their vehicles compared to other buy here pay here lots is much higher. Purchase process is simply and fast to complete. Employee was very nice, had a lot of knowledge about the vehicle and was professional. I would highly recommend this lot for purchasing a vehicle.
