You never know what you are gonna get, but it became obvious as I dealt with Dan that these folks have integrity.

Here's the story: My husband was shopping around for new tires for my car. He ended up at Trevino's…read moreand they found the tires for him at a very reasonable price. They didn't have the tires in stock and said they would order them and call when they were in. My husband explained that he was leaving town to go to Egypt and that they would need to call me. He gave me all the info above and left for his trip without us hearing from them. He managed to get some wifi a couple of days later and asked if they'd called. I said no and he said to give them a call because he thinks they tried to call him. He was on the Red Sea in a diving boat. I called, they said they had them in and to come on down anytime during open hours. I got there at 4:15 and the first thing the short, scrawny, mouthy, guy said was, "what time is it?" They closed at 5 but he said come in anytime during business hours. So, I said 4:15. He looked defeated and without word conceded that he'd have to do it. They proceeded to put on my new tires. At completion I pulled out my credit card and short, mouthy, scrawny guy says, we don't take credit cards. I said ok, I can write a check. He then started raising his voice in a threatening manner and said all of these things while pointing his finger and yelling at me: I told your husband it would be cash only! What kind of a scam are you trying to pull! What you can do is go get the cash and get it NOW! I explained that my husbands debit card expired and so I gave him mine and I didn't have any access to cash at that moment. I apologized for the miscommunication and asked what kind of solution did he want? I told him he could take the tires off again if necessary. He raised his voice louder and louder demanding and repeating the above statements. He was trying to intimidate me into somehow appearing magically with $540 in cash. I finally started ignoring the scrawny trashy short dude and turned to the quiet guy who I think is a brother of the owner. He said, go get your checkbook. I ended up racing home, bummed $200 off a friend and raced back with my checkbook. I also gave them my only cash which was $40. They took all of that with the check and I left in tears. You know what's shady? Shady is having a business that sells hundreds of dollars in merchandise at a time and doesn't accept anything but cash. That's shady. You know what else is shady? Having a scrawny trashy little dude yelling at someone in a threatening manner over a miscommunication. I am a middle age, conservative woman with good manners, well dressed, nice car... I didn't deserve to be treated with such malice. There were quite a few possible and reasonable outcomes that didn't involve threatening behavior. Amazingly they didn't seem to have any problem cashing my check and it clearing immediately. It was a miscommunication that they handled horribly. When I told them it was a miscommunication and that I was sorry he accused me of running a scam. I 100 percent do not recommend this business.
