They also have personal trainers for hire to personalize your workout. My wife and I were in the Berkshires for a month this summer, visiting from overseas. We were very happy to find Lenox Fit which offered a ton of flexibility while we were here. We ended up getting a one month membership but appreciated the other options including day passes, weekly, etc. Made it incredibly useful for someone here for only a short time when most gyms require long commitments, etc. Facility itself was great. Was very clean and we were able to replicate our regular gym routine from back home and not fall behind while on vacation. read more

This is the 4th gym I've tried in the area and I think I finally found a winner, idk why it took me this long to give it a shot. I especially appreciate the high ceiling fans and air circulation. The space itself is very comfortable, clean, spacious, and it has all the equipment that I was looking for. I loved the upstairs studio as a place to warm up/ stretch, and it's nice to know they have classes and cryotherapy if I ever want to dabble in that. The staff is incredibly friendly. I LOVED visiting this gym. We called in advance as we were only visiting and wanted to purchase a day pass, but weren't sure of the protocols given the COVID pandemic. The man running the gym was so welcoming and informative! Sessions were bookable online in 45 min slots. He cleans the gym in between. We felt really safe and welcome. Lenox Fit is the best gym in the Berkshires! The staff, including managers, trainers, and especially the owner, Suzanne, are very friendly and accommodating. The physical space is very pleasant....light, bright, and airy with high ceilings. The equipment is great. And there is plenty of space between the equipment, so you do not feel closed in. I'm visiting from out of town and inquired if they allow guests. The man at the desk was very welcoming and helpful. He told me it's usually $15 for a guest pass but allowed me 2 for $20. The facility is quaint and very clean and organized so if you're looking for a big, meathead type gym, this isn't the place for you. I'm from a much larger city and my home gym is big and unkempt so this was a welcomed sight! I'm looking forward to tomorrow's workout here! read more

Great gym ,equipment ,trainers , and classes the best .

If you want to hear about a trainers politics as she shouts them all morning at her "clients" (and everyone else on the floor), then this is the gym for you. If rundown facility and unfriendly ownership is what you are looking for in a gym, again, this is the place for you. I was a member last summer and with the proper headphones, and excessive volume, I was able to drown out the din of her noise. This year, it was just to much. Although I paid for the summer. I joined another facility that's not as convenient, but allows me to work out in peace, with a very professional and attentive floor staff this was money well spent. read more

Lenox Fitness Center is a small, clean, gym with a variety of machines, free weights and classes. The staff are friendly, but they are quick to catch on to customers (like me!) who are happiest being left alone. I went at all times of the day and evening and never ran into much of a wait for machines. The people who go to this gym are of all ages and finess levels, so if you are worried about being surrounded by intimidating buff gym types, there's really no problem with that here. There are televisions along one side wall that generally play CNN with no sound. Generic Rock Music is piped in at a pretty quiet level. I never took part in classes or any of the spa treatments, but I have many friends who swear by both. The only reason this gym loses a star is because it's not open in the evenings on Saturday or Sunday, but I was really heartbroken when I moved away. It's a great place to work out in peace! read more

(Full disclosure) I have been a class instructor at Lenox Fit for the past two years. I have also work at two other fitness buildings in the area, one geared to a similar population and one geared to families and have been a member at several gyms. I have not been treated better as an instructor or as a participant than I have at Lenox Fit. Our voices are always heard as instructors and as participants. Lenox Fit has gone through so many great changes recently- from new equipment, to stronger classes, to paving a previously unpaved parking lot- and more, all to ensure we are getting and giving as much as we can. The atmosphere is always pleasant and calm and I never feel rushed or criticized during my workouts nor during my classes. I would 100% recommend Lenox Fit over the other two establishments I work for and the three other gyms and studios I have been a member of. read more

I've been a member for three years and have watched this place transform into one of those places and spaces you walk into and know that something beautifully alive and zen is going on. It's open and light, has a great, uplifting kind of energy right when you walk in the door. The new owner obviously understands that some of us don't really want to work out, but it's possible to forget all that once you get inside. There is a loft upstairs where spin classes are held that is bright and light with lots of mirrors and glass and super clean floors. Not one of those dark dungeons of hidden spinners with (shudder) flashing lights in the dark and someone shouting at you. Sue is a total pro and a very seasoned spinning instructor who pays extra special attention to newcomers. The spin loft is also totally separate so everyone else in the gym doesn't have to listen to our music.It looks out over the hillside next door and you can pretend you're cycling up the Berkshire Mountains even in winter without having to risk your life! The locker room has a new, spa like feel, nice clean colors, new showers, fresh paint and carpet. The classes are rarely full with the exception of one or two of the evening spins, which can be very popular and packed.It is quite simply the fastest way to burn up your energy and sweat without jumping or killing your knees so I highly recommend it, even if you hate exercise. Otherwise, there is pretty much a class for everything, yoga, kettlebells, boot camp, pilates, stretch. Really nice professional trainers with positive attitudes makes this gym stand out as well. There's nothing like going to a place where the people who work there appear to be having a really good time and really like their members and each other. Zero snarkiness here, no kidding. I've also noticed a lot of older members, especially during the summer, folks coming in for weekends of fitness activity, as well a people who are obviously in training for triathalons or some sort of mega athletic event. I think when you can appeal to such a wide range of people that's a really, really good sign. There are a few choices in the Berkshires but Lenox Fit has my vote for best classes, best space and equipment, and best staff. read more

This gym is ok, but I have several issues with it. First of all, it is quite pricy and yet does not have AC in the main work out room! It gets very hot and to be honest, a bit smelly. There is practically nowhere to stretch or do ab work, as most of what could be a stretching area is reserved for personal training only. They have had the same cardio machines there all five summers I have used the gym - no updates. The spin bikes are in alright condition but those taking the class have to roll their bikes out on to the floor themselves and do all set up. The bikes do not have a computer to show resistance, distance, calorie estimate, etc. In my opinion, this gym needs some serious updating if they are going to continue to charge the high fees. I pay $99 for one month each summer at Lenox Fitness- back home in Boston I only pay $50 a month for a much nicer, larger gym with TONS of class options. On the bright side, Lenox Fitness has a very nice locker room and nice showers. read more
