Sue Parsley is absolutely the best yoga teacher and her studio is simple and beautiful!!! Sue is teaching a weekly class for all of my employees with our ages ranging from teens to age 60. She is aware of all our various strengths and weaknesses and she also has a certification in body mechanics. She is experienced and each class is different and challenging. Sue makes a DIFFERENCE and has helped all of us become much stronger and flexible. Absolutely recommend Lenox Yoga!! Yoga is the perfect thing to offer to my employees as everyone can be part of and benefit from Sue's class!! read more

I just finished an all levels flow class with Sue and it was great! It was the best sequencing that I've experienced in a long time and I could tell through my experience with functional body specialists, that Sue was teaching from a functional body movement place. After learning to heal from injuries using functional exercises, I've learned the importance of that knowledge and application. When talking with Sue after class, she mentioned that she adapted her sequence to the functional needs of our class. Apparently, we all had hip issues going on. One particular sequence she taught, I'd never done before. I asked her where I could find that online and she said she made it up, but directed me to some resources to teach me more functional body moves. If you're like me and are hell bent on healing naturally, then functional medicine and body movement is the way to go and you can trust your body with Sue while in her class. FUN! FUN! FUN! Not to mention, her choice of music, joking and energy was very fun and flowing. I highly recommend taking classes here in the beautiful, historical Curtis building in downtown Lenox. The next time I'm back home to visit, I'll be returning to her class! read more

Lenox yoga is a welcome addition to the yoga choices in this part of the Berkshires. What makes Lenox yoga so different from other studios is that it is a yoga cooperative where the individual yoga teachers all work for themselves and basically rent out their time slot to use the facility. It makes the studio a cornucopia of teachers and styles. Located on street level in a lovely historic building in Lenox center the studio is a large, lovely space with soaring high ceilings and architectural details and a beautiful hardwood floor. The selection of teachers and styles means there is always something different to choose from and also means as a student you should pay careful attention to the class you are attending. A great studio and a great concept to keep a variety of yoga teachers working in the area. I hope they thrive at this location and build a loyal clientele. read more

For years, I tried to get into yoga but I just couldn't do it. I'd get so bored and lose focus. But then one summer I tried one of Sue's classes at Lenox Yoga. Sue makes her classes so much fun. Yes, they are great workouts, but she makes them fly by with fun music and her warm, friendly personality. After taking a bunch of classes with Sue one summer, I was able to start really appreciating yoga. Now I take yoga classes all the time back home in Florida...but when I'm in the Berkshires, I head straight to Lenox Yoga. While Sue's classes are my favorites, I've taken classes from other instructors and they are all great, too. Plus, the studio is light, airy, immaculate, and in the best location. read more

I never had the patience for yoga (or felt I had enough time in the day for a class). Until a friend introduced me to Lenox Yoga!! I am ever thankful for that introduction. Sue's classes are fun, energetic and amazing! I have been to some yoga classes else where and none if them made me fall in love with yoga like Sue's classes. The group of women (and men) I have met in these classes are amazing, supportive and wonderful, often we cheer and clap for each other when we finally get that one pose we've been working so hard to stick. A must go to studio when you are in Lenox. I am very lucky to have this studio so close to home. read more
