When they have to bust out concrete they leave the big chunks of concrete laying there! They don't clean It up until i complain they leave open and never cap off the rebar so imagine if a kid where to ride their bike (like ours do) and fall off into the sticking up in the rebar!!! they run over your plants with their dozers and walk all over your plants and destroy your dip system... when you go and talk to Phillip he says it's not his problem... he is very unhelpful! When this was solely Cal Atlantic It was good! When Lennar came over they seem to not care as much. More worried about making the buck. We didn't get our year check... i had to call and beg for one.. there is a ton more but i don't have the strength in my finger to keep going on... i love my home i just don't think these contractors and Lennar give any care about us who live her... pretty sad if you ask me!

I had a horrible time buying a house with the "Sales Consultant" from Lennar. I'm writing this…read morereview for everyone to be aware when they are buying a house from a sales rep named Sandra Mejia. Her and her team will try to block you from choosing your own lender if the builder already has a lender in place. This caused us multiple headaches and delayed our loan process which ended up hiking up my interest rate. When I put down the deposit for the house, I made it very clear that I already had a lender in mind and that I would most likely not be moving forward with the lender that they're providing (Eagle Home Mortgage). However, they convinced us that a preapproval from the builder's lender is needed, and once I decide to change the lender, I should be able to do so. After I got pre-approved, I've asked them many times when I could change my lender, and they kept on waving off my question with ambiguous dates. As the dates passed by, they informed me that I wouldn't be able to change my lender prior to 30 days from closing mark. After a lot of back and forth emails and text messages, they said they'll talk to their management team and gave my lender an unrealistic date to provide all the loan documents by. We asked for the Escrow's information so that we could shuffle around and prepare the loan documents, but they conveniently ignored all emails/texts for two weeks and informed us that all these documents are needed in 1 day. After shuffling around, we were able to prepare all the loan documents, and sent it to the escrow. However, it was such an unpleasant experience, as it was very obvious that she was forcing our hands to make her own commission. Later, I found out from my neighbors that they were forced in to the loan and had a similar experience. The lender process was not the only unhappy experience I had with her. Prior to choosing our current house, we put down our deposit for a different house (Single story). However, we decided that we wanted to buy a 2 story house and asked her if we could move our deposit to the other house that just opened up. She told us that the house is already taken and there is nothing she could do about it, so we decided to take our deposit out from the single story house and exited the office. While we were walking to our car, she ran out of the office and told us that the 2 story house that was apparently already "taken" has just opened up. It was very obvious that she was trying to force our hand to buy the single story house... Overall, I had a very unpleasant experience. The process of buying a house without these hassles is already very stressful because you're tying yourself down to a half-million dollar loan. She only provided ambiguity and chaos during this process. I'm simply writing this review, so that the future home buyers don't fall in to this trap. FYI - Nothing was wrong with the builder. The house is amazing. Hence, why I gave two stars instead of one.

Adam and Carl are so knowledgeable about every aspect of construction that they were able to fix problem areas in our house with solutions we didn't even know were possibilities. Our home is now beautiful as well as functional for our family; plus they finished everything on time! Something friends and family all told us would never happen in the construction world. Their attention to detail, superior communication skills along with trustworthy and dependable subcontractors made it all possible. Will absolutely being using them for any future projects!
