What a cute place place to grab some food, wine or cocktail, and listen to live music! It was an incredibly hot evening, but I enjoyed a frozen peach sangria, which helped keep me cool. (The fans up there didn't work, so the frozen drink was almost a necessity.) My spouse and I split a flatbread pizza and a berry salad, too. The salad was fine--it needed a lot more nuts and a touch of salt. The flatbread, though, was REALLY delicious! The frozen sangria was great, too--sweet but not coyingly so. A friend I was with ordered one with a splash of red wine on top, making it a touch less sweet and more balanced, according to her. I'll try that next time. The winery closed earlier than I expected, but the musician was great. Copperdock was still a great place to spend an evening with friends or family. I recommend a visit!

Pretty good winery near the interstate. We were seated near the lake at our request. My friend ordered bruschetta and I ordered chips & queso. Both were good and I'd order them again, but there were some other appetizing things on the menu. I had 2 glasses of wine and my friend had 3. I ordered one of the Copper Dock wines--the Cayuga, which is the golden-colored wine pictured--and it reminded us of an ice wine. My friend ordered her own glass of that after trying mine. Later I tried the black n blush. Minus one star because: 1. Though we were seated nearly as far from the live music as could be, it was far too loud. It's a winery, not a concert. Turn it down. 2. The tasting room was closed because it was to be a busy day (Father's Day). It's a winery. Bummer to close the tasting room.

The club was always very friendly. I cannot remember every seeing Harold without him smiling. It is completely welcoming. It is not fancy though they do decorate for various events and holidays. It has a warm feeling, someplace you can take your family and just relax and let all your cares float away. It had 2 pool tables, lots of drink tables and a small dance floor. No one pressures anyone to do anything including keep drinking. I went there for years and most of the crowd was the same crowd depending on the night. Some busy, some slow. New people would become part of the regulars. Regulars, like me, would disappear. Kind of think the show "Cheers" with occasionally (not often by any means) men kissing men and women kissing women and some kissing both. When I would go by car, I would nurse a couple of drinks plus glasses of water/soda for hours (up to 6) and no one mentioned I had to buy some food or another drink. Oh and the water was always free and the soda usually was free. The crowd there really isn't into people getting drunk. Most customers are just carrying a very light buzz, and that is how every one wants it. I have been in a lot of hick/hillbilly/redneck bars. My aunt used to serially one them. I have been in a lot of stripper type bars. This club is most definitely not of that category. It just is not fancy.

The vibe was relaxed and everyone very friendly. Drink prices were great and service was prompt. I'd highly suggest stopping in for a drink and meet some great locals who are very friendly.
