The biscuit was OK, would have been much better toasted, very wonder bread consistency as served. My wife's french toast was pretty good. My eggs were tasty; my home fries were... ok. They serve margarine instead of butter and some off brand and very mediocre jelly in addition to some Smuckers. That tells me that compromising on ingredients is at least as important as quality food. That alone should have reduced their four stars to three stars, but since they have so few reviews, I'll give them the four. There's an extra room in back. Kitchen in the open with a counter and tables. The service was very slow, maybe just a bad day. About 30 people in the place, close to capacity.

Everything about the Ariston Cafe is delightful. If you want nostalgia and a step back in time, this is the place. The building inside and out does not disappoint! And we haven't even gotten to the food yet! You can go big or small here with the food they offer, price wise and size. Plus the menu is divided into American and several options from other countries. And there's a nice salad bar. On our first visit we both had pasta and of course dessert from the large tray they bring around. It's pretty irresistible! The salad bar was just enough to get things started. Everything was delicious. On our second visit we chose classic American food. Again, very good. You just can't go wrong here. See my pictures for specifics. On both visits the staff was great. Very friendly and attentive, yet not intrusive. If you haven't been it's really worth stopping.
