I discovered, The Lounge because I arrived super early for a wine tasting at another business in the plaza. My friend and I were immediately won over, when we saw the bar dog. Her name is, Lucy. I liked that the front window is tinted so you cannot see in, but once inside you can clearly see the outside. If you like to play slots while you sip your inexpensive cocktail, The Lounge has about 4 or 6 machines for you to play. If you do, good luck. Best of all, the drinks are super affordable aka "cheap". The bartender was friendly to us being newcomers. Seeing the rest of the patrons at the bar and every stool was full, you could tell they were regulars at this neighborhood watering hole. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely stop by for a cocktail.

There is a generously sized bar and with a few high top tables along the side wall. There are several slot machines if you're interested in trying your luck! The bar offers your standard fare of beer, wine, mixed drinks and shots. They offer a few prepackaged snacks including chips and nuts. We were able to order a small pizza. They offer the Dog Town frozen pizzas. These are among my favorite pizzas. And it paired well with the ice cold beer. Our bartender was friendly and made sure we were taken care of.

The vibe is disco unicorn and above ground speakeasy eloped and had a cocktail baby. Drinks are flowing, guests are chatting and seating is cozy. My party sat on the small couch and two chairs closest to the doors. The ambiance and lighting were the same, but the vibe felt a bit elevated. Maybe because of the music being played? After browsing the menu, the guy came over to take our drinks. I went with Pele the fire God. I was ecstatic because finding a drink with passion fruit in Stl is like finding the golden ticket! It's a rare treat but when you find it, it's worth it! It came out super fast and was a bit more frothy than I would have liked. In fact, I felt like there was more froth than alcohol but the little I did get made it worth it. For my second drink I went with the limoncello spritz but got it with sprite instead of club sodas. For the record, I've only had a couple spritzes in my life but i really enjoyed this one. It was light, refreshing, and def a cocktail to sip, sit back and enjoy. Everyone in my party was laughing and having a great time. The service was outstanding and the drinks were equally matched. Fair warning there's only one restroom, so hydrate accordingly!

The in house menu does not match the online menu, but we both enjoyed our sushi rolls. So you walk in and upon approaching you can't miss the beer garden. If it wasn't so windy that day it would have been a perfect dine outside situation. But because of the wind we got a booth inside. In the middle of the floor is bar height tables a chairs, booths along one side of the room. The booths are only on one side because the other side is a beer wall. That's right, I said a beer wall. A wall full of taps. You get a swipe card and it charges your swipe card by the ounce. I don't drink beer but my friend appeared to be really happy with the selection. Because she couldn't pick just one, she made herself a flight. That's right, you can make your own beer flight from the beer wall. So for you beer drinkers I imagine this west side establishment is a hidden gem. I'd definitely come here again, with spouses and adult children in tow. There was fun food, good drinks and some entertainment. And not just karaoke either. We played name that tune. There was a prize at the end but we didn't stay long enough to see the winner. Well, we also didn't play competitively enough to be the winner either. But we had a great time and for a fair price. So, let it be said...I give this place 2thumbs up and definitely give it my seal of approval.

The food and drinks were good, not mouthwatering, but definitely enjoyable. Not to mention this place has a wall of taps that are self-pour! I wouldn't write home about this place, but if you're looking for a cool place nearby with good beer and good sushi, then it's your place! Outdoor patio is dog friendly which is a plus.

I had picked LONG 9 for lunch for a monthly lunch meeting with friends as I'd been there 4 years ago and the restaurant was quiet and comfortable and lunch was good. It's still a lovely, quiet restaurant and so nice to be able to hear a conversation....but the food today was horrible!! The waitress was personable and friendly. I ordered the small plate French Dip sliders. I should have refused what came. Menu says "sliced sirloin, carmelized onions...." What I got looked like the scrapings of hamburger bits from a too-hot grill (in fact, perhaps it was, as my friend ordered a burger and it was burnt). The meat scrapings were on 3 Hawaiian rolls with a smattering of grilled onions and cheese to hide it. A bowl of au jus came with it. I did manage to consume some by dipping it in the au jus but that was very salty and I lost my appetite quickly. What a disappointment! One of my friends ordered a hamburger (came with lots of fries); the burger was burnt but she ate parts of it. My other friend ordered salad (it was ok) and soup d'jour. The soup finally arrived 10 minutes after our meal and tasted canned. Her breadstick was hard and inedible in the middle--obviously stale and nuked. Awful! I can't begin to say how disappointed we all were. We left our waitress good tips because it was not her fault. She did offer to bring us something else to eat. We should have taken her up on the offer. Perhaps the "cook" could have made us decent sandwiches to take home? What a disappointment. We'd give it a negative star rating and we are not picky people. I sure would love to hear back from a manager about this!

Their service was limited to drinks and a featured appetizer. The ambiance was stunning! Hats off to the designer of the Christmas decorations. The decor set the expectation of my experience and they did not disappoint!. There were 8 in our party and we ordered from the holiday drink menu, designed like a Christmas Card which is a genius idea. We tried 8 of their drinks and passed them around to taste. ALL were well balanced so hats off to the bartenders as the place was packed and it would have been easy to let your standards slip when you are as busy as they were. Although the place was packed our service was great. I can't wait to return and try their food menu. If it is anything like their attention to detail, I am so excited to return and I fully expect to post a great review. What a great evening with friends and a great kick off of the holidays. Just a quick note on pricing: This is not a chain restaurant so don't expect chain restaurant prices. My opinion is it is deserved price point when you consider the standards they set. It's a perfect place for date night, entertaining a client or a girls evening out.

We walked in around 4:15pm, and found an open private booth which was cool. The entire space is classy and I'd like to sit in the leather chairs in the back room next time. The drinks were good- a Carajillo and special "love potion". The booth had the ability to control our music volume which we enjoyed. The only hiccup is the menu said to "hit the button in your booth to order", we couldn't find the button. After waiting quite a while our waitress hadn't come back, so I went to find her and put our drinks in. She explained the booths no longer have buttons. No big deal, but we should have been approached sooner for our drink order versus having to go find her. All in all we still enjoyed our experience and will return.
