This is not a review for one location in general but the overall experience of banking here--one…read morestar and that is because this bank receives my employers paycheck to me usually 24 hours before scheduled pay date. The cons are multiple-- 1. If you need customer service on a weekend, you're on your own until Monday morning. This translates to trying to make a healthcare payment for a premium and it triggers a fraud alert. Don't ask me why a healthcare charge triggers a fraud alert. This isn't Minnesota! Then you try to call the bank because you have zero access to cash via ATM as well due to this fraud alert. Then you have to borrow money to get your prescriptions because well--the fraud alert incident. How to fix this: HIRE a small team of fraud alert staff and customer service employees that are available 24/7 for such incidents. This will win your customers over to know if something happens, you got their back instead of your out of luck for 2 days until we reopen. 2. The wait times for customer service and fraud alerts range from 15-90 minutes. What this tells me is you are not employing enough staff to handle high volumes of inbound calls. No one has 90 minutes to halt their life to wait on hold to speak to fraud alert agents. How to fix this: HIRE more staff and cross trained regular agents to assist with overflow vs being transferred to fraud alert representatives and being told wait times are minimum one hour because they don't handle fraud alerts. What are we supposed to do if we do not have access to our funds? Our feet are put to the fire because we need our funds. 3. Wait times at banks are pitiful. You have agents sitting at their desks chatting while lines are long letting the teller lines move at a snails pace. Why not have them jump in to assist when it's a high volume hour like lunch times or end of day? How to fix this: change banks to one that has exceptional customer service 24/7 even if it's not a credit union.

The rates are not the outliers they once were and the service / knowledge level of the average employee in those departments has gotten to be very, very low. They are honestly worse than most of the fly by night online finance vendors nowadays, shame to see them go so far downhill. I would not offer them my future business for any sort of lending product even if their rates were better, it's just not worth it to endure the plethora of poor service and egregious errors.

Terry is honest, kind, and extremely caring. Two months before we ended up signing a purchase agreement, Terry walked me through the process, the closing costs, the fees, line by line. Nothing is hidden, with Grove Mortgage. Our builder's lender gave us a worse rate with twice the amount of closing costs, mostly due to the builder's lender charging ridiculous origination fees, which Grove Mortgage does not do. I have been on numerous phone calls with Terry past 6:30 or 7 pm. He makes himself available, which is so important. Terry even saved us from some shadiness that was going on with our original realtor. He has made this process much more calm than I had ever imagined. Once again, I cannot recommend using Grove Mortgage enough, we truly feel like we have been treated like family.

I wanted a conventional loan, held by a conventional bank or financial institution. The process was pretty straight-forward, (Kalie's a bit pushy), but my closing rate was almost 1% above where we started. I went on with it anyway. We closed, I made my first payment, and 2 weeks later got a letter telling me my loan had been bought by Fannie Mae. Had I wanted a Fannie Mae loan, I would have refied with them to get a better rate, but I specifically stated I wanted a conventional loan! The part that upset me the most, is that the company they use, United Wholesale Mortgage, almost always sells their loans to Fannie Mae, and Groves didn't tell me that! Now I'm stuck with the very thing I refinanced to get away from! Terry and Kalie HAD to know that. It was deceitful and unprofessional. I'll never recommend them, and I'll certainly never use them again! If you're looking for a conventional loan, keep looking!

Dillon has been phenomenal. His communication, clarity, and follow‑through were consistently excellent. He is incredibly customer‑focused, proactive, and truly goes above and beyond in every aspect of his work. Throughout the entire process, we felt fully informed--whether it was timelines, progress updates, or unexpected issues that came up. Any time we reached out, Dillon responded quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. Honestly, this has been the best turn‑around manager experience we've ever had. Dillon is an outstanding maintenance manager, and we wanted to make sure his exceptional performance and dedication were recognized. We are extremely satisfied and deeply appreciative of the work he put into bringing this property back to life.

From the day we moved in, our experience has been disappointing. We've submitted multiple maintenance requests that have either gone unanswered or been marked as completed without anyone ever coming to our home. One of the most concerning issues is a large hole our neighbor's dog dug under the fence, allowing it access to our backyard. I was told they would "look into it, and call me back" but I never received a follow-up. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and an online work order, the issue remains unresolved weeks later. We also reported an unbalanced ceiling fan that appears unsafe to use. After waiting over two months, I received a notification stating the repair had been completed, even though no one ever came to inspect or fix it. Communication has been extremely poor. Calls are rarely returned, voicemails go unanswered, and it feels nearly impossible to get a response from maintenance, the tenant coordinator, or Property Manager Melisa Day. Another frustration is that because these are new construction townhomes, tenants are expected to coordinate directly with vendors for certain repairs. That responsibility should fall on property management, not the tenant. To make matters worse, there is a significant gnat infestation. Despite paying for private pest control every two months and purchasing Zevo traps at my own expense, the problem persists. After speaking with several neighbors, I learned this is a community-wide issue. My experience has left me feeling that once the lease is signed, tenant concerns are no longer a priority. If you are considering renting here, I encourage you to carefully research the property before making your decision. ( we are very clean people three of those zevos have been there for 5 days, one I just changed yesterday.)
