It turns out it was a $5 charge with a $5 fee. Charged to the account AFTER it was closed ! Settled it, then was told one of my documents wasn't acceptable. A total of 3 hours passed. I returned the following week and was told wait time would be up to an hour. Despite the account being set up and was only pending documents. ULTIMATELY, I asked to schedule an appointment. Are you ready for this! The next available appointment was in 10 days!!! {Going with IBC. Called and phone was answered by a real person. That work 8 - 5pm. We would never make it to the bank. We tried to go to the bank Saturday and they were closed. It was not even a holiday. They said they would be open Saturdays till 4pm. I guess they took a 3 day weekend holiday. The drive thru is open till 6pm. I just wasted an hour and a half of my life sitting in the car waiting for drive thru to process my transaction. It took an hour and 15 min to get to where the tubes are located. Took another 15 min to process my transactions. Never saw a teller or heard a thank you from the teller. It is time to look for a new bank. I just wasted gas and time going through the drive thru teller. Either RBFCU need to get it right and have longer lobby hours or they need more tellers processing 9 drive thru windows. It seems like only 2 tellers were running 9 windows of members. I got to RBFCU at 5pm and there were 4 cars in front of me. I did not leave RBFCU until 6:30 pm. Yes an hour and a half. If you like service try finding another bank that has better hours and faster service. This is not a bank for you unless your just an atm type of person.

Terry is honest, kind, and extremely caring. Two months before we ended up signing a purchase agreement, Terry walked me through the process, the closing costs, the fees, line by line. Nothing is hidden, with Grove Mortgage. Our builder's lender gave us a worse rate with twice the amount of closing costs, mostly due to the builder's lender charging ridiculous origination fees, which Grove Mortgage does not do. I have been on numerous phone calls with Terry past 6:30 or 7 pm. He makes himself available, which is so important. Terry even saved us from some shadiness that was going on with our original realtor. He has made this process much more calm than I had ever imagined. Once again, I cannot recommend using Grove Mortgage enough, we truly feel like we have been treated like family.

The process was pretty straight-forward, (Kalie's a bit pushy), but my closing rate was almost 1% above where we started. I went on with it anyway. We closed, I made my first payment, and 2 weeks later got a letter telling me my loan had been bought by Fannie Mae. Had I wanted a Fannie Mae loan, I would have refied with them to get a better rate, but I specifically stated I wanted a conventional loan! The part that upset me the most, is that the company they use, United Wholesale Mortgage, almost always sells their loans to Fannie Mae, and Groves didn't tell me that! Now I'm stuck with the very thing I refinanced to get away from! Terry and Kalie HAD to know that. It was deceitful and unprofessional. I'll never recommend them, and I'll certainly never use them again! If you're looking for a conventional loan, keep looking!
