The home loan world can be a foreign and imposing place. I feel very lucky that Prime Lending handled my loan, especially under the circumstances. As a first time home buyer, I was completely green to the process. I couldn't have asked for a better company to guide me through. With Prime Lending's help, I was able to take my home from a complete dark and dank gut-job to a warm, inviting space that people compliment the moment they enter. So, when interest rates dropped and I wanted to shoot for a lower monthly APR, I went back to Prime Lending. My refinance loan spanned the first year of the pandemic, when I unexpectedly and suddenly became unemployed. We had already gone through 99% of the process when this happened. Jeff was incredibly sensitive and understanding. Since I had already paid for a home appraisal, he said he would not charge me again when the time came. He kept his word 7 months later, when I was back to being employed in the fall and we once again started the refi process. As fate would have it, I got a better rate--so there were some silver linings to waiting, as well. In a business where money can make people jaded and unpleasant, Jeff is quite simply an honest and kind person. With his leadership, he fosters a team that instills confidence that you are making the right choices and can trust the people handling your loan. We found Jeff because we were considering a home that needed a renovation loan. We ended up purchasing a different property with a conventional mortgage, but we stuck with Jeff and his team because they had been so amazing from the start. From answering ALL of our many questions, to responding within minutes each time we reached out, to anticipating and heading off potential underwriting issues to avoid unpleasant surprises, they couldn't have been more helpful and professional. We both have banked with PNC Bank for years so we chose them for our daughter as well. My daughter and I walked in and were greeted by the front desk person who asked if we needed to be helped. I then told her we were there to open an account for my daughter. She went and got Anita who walked us to her office, offered us water and told us about the different options we could chose. One nice thing is that our daughter is in high school so she qualifies for a free student account with no monthly fees. We decided to go with a Virtual Wallet account. It is linked to my account as well so I full access to her account and can go into her account and make transfers and was even given a separate debit card that I can use to deposit or withdraw money for her from her account. One thing I love about this particular location is that they can instantly make you a new debit card if you ever lose one or just need a replacement. Once my daughter's debit card was made Anita had her create a PIN to use it at the ATM and a log in and password to log in online. Once that was done Anita gave my daughter a $1.00 check to go out and deposit into the ATM. Once she got the hang of it we also deposited one of her pay checks. Anita was very patience and answered every question I had. I highly recommend PNC Bank and this branch for any banking needs you may have.

I sat for 20 minutes before the lady who finished with a customer went to lunch (must be nice) and I continued to wait to be seen. This was my worst PNC Bank experience for a branch that was not very busy at the time. My advice don't come during your lunch as they won't be helpful and you spend most of the time waiting unless you are seeing a teller.

This company merged with my old mortgage company this month. Well I was reported by them already in the 14th of April to the credit bureaus. In the letter it also states that can't take payment till April 7th when the website is up. This company has been extremely aggressive and has lied about the grace period. I'm disgusted with this new company that has taken over my mortgage loan and has treated me badly. I don't recommend this company and I suggest that you all avoid them at all cost. Disgusting immoral aggressive tactics don't make for a great company that lies. I have no choice but to be stuck with them because it was transferred without my consent.

Their website works intermittently and I was on hold for an hour to speak with customer service after my loan was transferred to PHH. I was unable to make a payment without being charged a $7.50 service fee. I could not do it by phone nor on the computer without this fee being assessed. Supposedly I will be able to make a payment only after I choose the paperless option. Once I did this they told me to try again in 48 hours. I've never heard of such a thing...charging people to make a payment. Terrible terrible company to interact with.
