I couldn't have asked for a better company to guide me through. With Prime Lending's help, I was able to take my home from a complete dark and dank gut-job to a warm, inviting space that people compliment the moment they enter. So, when interest rates dropped and I wanted to shoot for a lower monthly APR, I went back to Prime Lending. My refinance loan spanned the first year of the pandemic, when I unexpectedly and suddenly became unemployed. We had already gone through 99% of the process when this happened. Jeff was incredibly sensitive and understanding. Since I had already paid for a home appraisal, he said he would not charge me again when the time came. He kept his word 7 months later, when I was back to being employed in the fall and we once again started the refi process. I've spoken numerous times with Michel Wright in looking into getting renovation loans for some rehab-required properties in Pittsburgh. Out of numerous lenders, Michel is the only one who really gave me confidence that she knew what she was talking about in regards to 203(k) and Homestyle renovation loans. Here quotes and numbers were accurate, detailed, and her communications were very responsive. She was also extremely helpful in getting pre-qual letters together in a timely fashion and helping provide dates for the offer contract over text. Ultimately, I decided to go with another local lender for a conventional loan - but would absolutely recommend talking to Michel (pronounced like "Michael", not "Michelle", FYI) if you're looking at buying a home - and absolutely if you're considering any form of renovation loan.
